New video of the amazing Stevie Nicks recording vocals for the song Say You Will, at www.fleetwoodmac.com.
Check it out!:wavey:
EDIT: Thrown Down is also available for listening to. I don't know whether it's just my computer or something but for me it plays it with the bass only added im certain parts, it's really weird...... unless it's merely a counter-sharing measure.
my goodness, Stevie seems kind of bitchy. :(

That was awesome to see. I don't think she seemed bitchy at all. She was just giving him an answer to his question.

hee hee!
I thought she sounded a tad grumpy myself, and when Linds said, "Is there anything else you hate?" there was a slight edge to the word "hate" like he was almost implying, "Well, you hated everything else so far, so what now?"
Mr. and Mrs. Intense are alive and well.
Like Stevie said, "Well, we don't make a blah record...."

LOL..that is the coolest clip yet...i don't really think she was all that bitchy...she seemed like if one more thing pissed her off she'd get mad though,lol..."Is there anything else you hate"? LMAO....

I think that Stevie did seem a tad cranky. Maybe she was just a little tired or something. I hope that they release all of these "making of the album" videos at some point. I just love watching them.

This is definitely the most interesting clip yet...for me anyway. I just love the interaction between the two. And when Stevie says after she mentions she wants more echo, "that's always going to be my answer to that...you know that.(chuckle)" Great!

I didn't like that at all. She seemed mopey and depressed, and the singing in this clip totally drags. She didn't seem bitchy. Just not in the right mood to sing the song, IMO. :distress:

Stevie looked and sounded tired to me. That was an interesting clip tho...in that we got to see her (and Lindsey kinda) in a different mood....and I love the way Lindsey says "Anything else you HATE?" LMAO!!! They were BOTH cranky and tired, I'm sure. I hope that wasn't the final cut of the song!! ACK!!!

She didn't seem bitchy at all to me. She even made a joke. I think you guys are just trying to create controversy! LOL

I agree. She was probably just tired and ready to go on to something else.
Who walks around all day with a smile on their face, trying to please everybody and their grandma's dog? I sure as hell don't.
They probably had both been there for hours, working on the same song over and over again... Lindsey disagreeing with Stevie, Stevie disagreeing with Lindsey...I love it!

 Right on, Susie!
Christy it seems to be very similar to what we've heard as the final cut. It sounds a bit flat by istelf but then there's the harmonies and instrumentation that are added in. The way the vocal turns out in that snippet we got of Say You Will was very impressive IMO. But I agree, with just this single melody it sounds bland.

Do you have AOL? I know people w/ AOL have been having trouble getting the updated information. If you don't have AOL, then I really don't know what to tell you. Well, I don't know what to tell you anyways... Sorry

I do think she sounded a bit edgy whether she was tired, joking around or whatever....plus, the statement "is there anything else you hate " denotes that there was something going on there....maybe Lindsey was getting a little peeved too...whether at Stevie or the situation...who knows? but it definately was not a hunky dorey happy situation...
actually, when i first saw this clip (and basically everything i've seen from the SYW recording footage) Stevie appears very moody to me...she's been this way before and, yes, she is entitled but it kind of irks me....i like her when she's a lot more upbeat...i think she needs to have a drink and lighten up a bit!
again....they may have been working on this for hours or whatever....maybe we'll find out later when some of this footage gets released...or, shall i say, IF?

If you ask me, a drinky or two always helps any situation
We also must understand that Stevie may just very well be at that age...menopause. Just watching my aunt go through it...well lets just say that it's enough to make me want to end it all before I hit 50! Sometimes being a woman just sucks! Emotions flailing around every which way. :distress:

I thought the same exact thing but forgot to include it before i posted it...at the same time, i didn't want to upset anyone. my mom is Stevie's age and she's going through it now but only seems to be getting hot/cold flashes....i haven't noticed any mood swings......yet!

That 70's show seems to have dedicated this entire season to Eric's mom's menopause. :D

Well... she just looks and sounds totally knackered to me...Linds appears to try and cheer her up in his remark ( thats how I see it, as a little bit of sarcastic humour on his part) catchs her unaware too coz she dosn't know how to respond back "errr, ahhh"and all that.Grumpy and tired, hey, don't we all get like that sometimes :)
