Stephanie,
Where have you been?!?

Are you going to any other shows?

Hey there!!

I've been hiding!! :D

Well, I got a new job....wow, almost a year ago now......and since then I just don't seem to get enough online time. I work more hours, I'm at work later, more computer work, so when I get home I just can't sit in front of the computer more, ya know! And combine that with the fact that MickFleetwood.com and FleetwoodMac.com launched, and then there's NicksFix of course.....I've had to split my time, so I haven't been spending nearly as much time here on The Ledge as I used to and would like to be! But, I've made somewhat of a return, cuz I just love you folks, and Marty & Lisa.....seeing some of the "fiascos" going on over at Mick's site makes me really appreciate how Marty treats everybody here, and all that goes on here!!!!

How have you been??!!!!

Yes, I am going to one other show besides Pittsburgh. I am going to the Cleveland show at Gund also. I was 3 hours late for the fan club presale because that online ticket place that I don't care to mention started the sale early. I wound up getting Section 2 Row W though. In the dead center at least!

Stephanie  :D :wavey:

Janine,
I'm a bonehead. I PM-ed you and forgot to include my email, but I'll PM you again. DUH!

Stephanie,
Cool, I'll be at Cleveland. Section 6 row AA. So I'll look for you. I'm also going to the Columbus show. Aaaaahhh, I'm so excited.

Row Z, section 5.... that's exactly where I'm sitting. small world. well, not really, considering that's probably as good as it gets when dealing with this pre-sale. anyways, just thought I'd let you know another ledige (even if he's a quiet one) will be near you.

I thought about going to the Columbus show. Opening night and all, I gotta tell ya, I really did consider it. But, I've got work, and I've missed too much time already lately. I can't take off. It's like 3 - 3 1/2 hours each way, there and back......just can't do it. Plus, I'd most likely be going myself, and a concert with nobody there with me, is just not gonna happen.
But definitely, we can iron out how to find each other at the Cleveland show as the time gets closer!

Jeff
Good to see that another Ledgie will be near! I see you're a new poster too (only 4 posts at this point! ;) ). Glad you're here, joining in the fun.....and the agony I guess, when discussing that fan club that really "works for us" and that other site that we all seem to be getting more and more disgusted with! :D Well, enjoy it here....this place has treated me fairly well for a couple years now. And not nearly as many enemies have been made here, as have been made at that other said website! I'm sure you'll like it here.
And just how quiet are ya????

I'm in Section 6 row T. Anyone near me?

Well I guess I am not the only one who got bad seats through the fan club. Have any Pittsburgh Ledgies seen any other concerts at Mellon Arena to know if Section 5 is good?

Jeff and Stephanie what are your seat numbers? Mine is 7-9.

I am glad to see there are other Pittsburgh Ledgies!

Surprisingly, I don't think I've ever noticed such a huge faction of Ledgies all from one area, as I have with the Pittsburgh area.

So THAT'S why I never did see any Section 1, 2 or 3 tickets popping up for me, even though I was searching for tickets within the first 30 seconds of them being onsale!! It was all the rest of you grabbing them all up! You mean the fan club people weren't sh**in' me after all??!!!!! ;)
Unfortunately, the results don't seem to prove this scenario either.

Ah well, we just rock around this area, what can I say!

Oddly enough, my seats for BOTH shows I'm going to are in Row W, Seats 11 & 12......hmmm.....how'd that happen.......coincidence??

I have to actually admit that I was offered Section 1 seats, Row L which is 12 rows back. BUT, because of the guff we were given about reserving the 20% best seats, I thought Ticketmaster was handing me a bum deal and that better seats were available. It was a terrible mistake on my part, but I was confused in thinking that if they had saved the 20% best seats (and by the way, 600 seats is not NEARLY 20%!), that I should come within the first five rows AT LEAST since I searched at the exact time of the sale.

Can anyone answer me this? The way Mellon Arena is set up is sections 1, 2, and 3 are the front set of seats, such that the stage is in the middle, section one is front and off to stage left, two in center, and three stage right. THEN, 4 5 6 and 7 are the next band of seats. I have Row T for section 6, and my question is, do they start each section with Row A, or is Row A only in the first three sections?

AAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!! YOU HAD 12TH ROW SEATS AND GAVE THEM BACK!!!!!!!

:D Ok, now that that's off my chest....

I have no idea how the actual rows and seats are set up. I never did find a seating chart that says, or find somebody who knows. I'm interested to. Am I really sitting as far back as I think I'm going to be! :(

Was $350 for one ticket?
Or two?

I'm sorry you wound up having to go to a scalper.
I resisted. I'm not exactly totally thrilled with my seats, but I just could not go and pay a scalper EVEN MORE money on top of what I've spent already......

Hey Josh!! :wavey:

How are you doing?? It really is me! I had e-mailed Laura the other day and asked her if she had talked to you lately. Are you going to any of the Mac shows?? I am only going to one, Pittsburgh, cause the damned fan club ripped me off. I really wanted to go to opening night in Columbus.

Cleveland was the best night...Chris Nicks & the signing of the magizine!!!!!

Yeah yeah, I already got the lecture from my father. But like I said, I just couldn't believe that if THE 20% best seats were reserved for us and I searched at 12:00 on the DOT that I couldn't land within five rows. I was fooled, and THAT'S why I'm so mad about the fan club...they basically tricked all of us. I know, what a bone head thing to do...I've already beaten myself up numerous times over it.

Holy Moses!
I was right there at 12:00 too....and got Section 5.

I would have gladly traded with you for your row twelve.

Dad, give another lecture!!!

Beaten yourself up? You mean you're a bit black and blue as well?? Yeah, I know the feelin'.....

I'm just making it to one show, too...Cleveland. I really want to see Pittsburgh, but I'm in our school's musical that same night.

You're right...Cleveland was the best...I still remember everything like it was just last week.

I've heard "Peacekeeper" on 5 different stations... but, of course, given my location, I not only pick up Pittsburgh stations, but also some Ohio and West Virginia stations as well.

And as I've said before, I really only listen to the radio for about 45 to 60 minutes a day... and I flip around a LOT.

So far I've heard it on Lite-Rock 92.9, 102.5 WDVE, Mix 94.1 (Ohio), The Mix-WK 97.3 (West Virginia), and Eagle 107.5 (West Virginia).

I was especially suprised to hear it on DVE and Eagle.

I was wondering if DVE would play Peacekeeper...I'm glad to see that they are. What is the DVE format? Are they AAA? In any case Johnny Stew, also listen for it on 100.7. I requested it a few times last week and I not only heard it on the way TO school, but also on the way home FROM school. That made my day.

Thanks for letting me know, Justin.
I've actually been surprised that I hadn't heard it on 100.7 yet, as I figured it was a perfect fit for their playlist.

Good to know that I just haven't caught it.
