Interesting! Is that Stevie with DARK hair? lol

It's about time Lindsey got on a cover without the rest of the band. You had John and Mick, Stevie and Mick, then either everybody or nobody. Now it can be Stevie and Lindsey (poor Chris, she never made it :( )

Looks like Stevie is going for a new look (Or at least back to her darker hair color). Good, it's time for a change. I wonder if she will keep it for a while or if it's just for the cover. It's interesting that Lindsey is upside down. I guess it's "Say You Will" be with FM, Lindsey?:p

I don't think that Stevie changed her hair, I just think that is blonde hair that is somehow muted or shadowed in the photography.

Hi - this is my first ever post although I've been reading these forums for years so go easy on me :)

Love this cover and really hope it's the real thing. It's contemporary, original and will stand out a mile. A cover isn't everything but if this is the image Fleetwood Mac wish to portray for this new album I think it will strike a chord. Remember, excluding Tusk, all of the Stevie/Lindsey album covers have included elements of fantasy. This cover just reminds you that behind the drama and theatrics there is a really talented bunch of people here who are getting back to the music. Don't want to get my hopes up but the raw nature of this and the PeaceKeeper images suggests strongly that this album really is in the spirit of Tusk. Love it, fingers crossed its the real thing.

Shame it's not bigger !

I was thinking of the "Mirage" cover as a band cover, because when you unfold the CD cover, pop! There they all are. But you're quite right, the "official" cover does indeed contain only Stevie, Lindsey, and Christine. So, I'll modify and pretend that I meant, "It's about time just Lindsey and Stevie appeared on a cover!" Admittedly that is not much of a "milestone" but I have to salvage my post somehow. lol

Sigh. The illusion of my perfection has been shattered. Sniff.

Except.... What's the writing underneath 'Fleetwood Mac'? It doesn't look like 'Say You Will :distress: It probably is, but it does seem to end in a 'Y'. I think it may just be very stylised.

I agree Nancy about Chris 'not making it', but we can rest easy because she was always the one semi-hiding her face with hats or hair or what have you anyway, so I don't think it was ever anywhere near a dream of hers ;)

If you blur your eyes a bit, Stevie looks kinda like a big pacman!!:laugh:

Let's hope this means they all fell over onto the floor exhausted after making a great new video!!;) :laugh:

The text underneath "Fleetwood Mac" does say "Say You Will"--it's upside-down, like Lindsey.

I think this is quite cool. The upside-down text and Lindsey upside down. The red text against the b/w image. It's modern and classy at the same time.

Perhaps Mick and John's bodies will be wrapped around the spine of the CD and then "frame" the track list on the back ?

And it's fun to see Stevie's hair different... and is Lindsey wearing leather pants? that's new.

FANTASTIC COVER !!!!!(Breathing a deep sigh of relief!!)...This is the best news so far this week......
I was beginning to become a bit disillusioned lately with all the fan club politics and fee for that and this....and not being blown away with the new "peace keeper" esp. as the 1st single...oh well cant please everyone.....

BUT this makes me excited again.......this IS a very dramatic cover...I 'm so relieved they used a picture of the band and not some arbitrary photo (i.e. Tusk, Tango, or BTM )..
Interesting how they feature Buckingham & Nicks primarily,,,It figures, since this is really Buckingham Nicks II.

Seems that the album cover kind of points to the Stevie/Lindsey dynamic in an interesting way.. you can't read the band name and album name at the same time..you have to rotate the CD around to display one or the other individual.

In the same way you can not listen to the album independent of the other's influence. Neither Stevie nor Lindsey are upside down because there is no right-side up..only a continually revolving dyamic..neither one of them predominates.

They are equals.

Now I am getting dizzy looking the cover revolve.

I'm SHOCKED that FM has done something that DOESN'T SUCK this time around. ohmygod, my faith in the new album has somewhat been restored. They look nice there sprawled out in the floor.. like murder victims without the chalk outlines.. but in a nice, dressed up, alive.. kind of way. Or something.

I opened this post waiting to be disappointed, glad that I'm not. Thanks for posting this!

hardly clear.. and hardly 1000x1000.. but this is about the best I can get fireworks to do in like, 5 minutes. give me a week and I may have something bigger.. but for now.. this'll hold me over.

Look closely. It says "Say You Will" but it's upside down. If you turn the covr so Lindsey is rightside up, then "Fleetwood Mac" is upside down. Also, Lindsey and Stevie are not alone. You can see two other people of the right and left sides. Probably Mick and John. No doubt you can see the rest of Mick and John on the back cover with the track listing between them.

Yup, I agree. I never expected to the cover to ba black, I was thinking lighter colors like white, blue etc. This has me falling off my seat.

I'm also waiting for a bigger, clearer picture. :D But what you can see in that tiny litlte one is quite fantastic, isn't it. A terrific cover, and one thing that the band is doing right, for a change. :)

I love it! it is so cool. And thanks, Sarah, for making it bigger. This is going to be my wallpaper on my computer soon as I fool around with it a bit in Paint Shop Pro.

It's like the Tusk album and that RS Photo shoot combined. Too cool!!

I'll bet Lindsey thought it up. He's somewhat of an artist, too, you know. What do you guys think?
