Ok, no matter how many times I type this, it is going to read as rude. Please know I am not trying to be and that this is an honest opinion...
Have you seen the new Q&A's over at 'Ask Stevie'??? I could answer most of those questions. I really wish they would pick some questions with more obscure answers. I mean, really. If you are going to the Official Stevie Nicks site, you are probably more than a casual fan. If you are more than a casual fan, you already know that Stevie wrote a song called 'Illume.'
Maybe I am just ticked because I asked her about 'Gypsy 83' and I doubt she will ever answer it.
Anyone with thoughts?
OR----
I am curious to know what other questions were submitted, so if you want to, post 'em here...

I feel you Raven!
I asked:
Does anyone call you Stephanie?
and
What is the most romantic gift you have ever gotten?
And what are they thinking - no music video!!!! For me personally, that's the only way I'm exposed to new music. I don't listen to the radio much. I have a disk player in the car, but I'm a MTV and VH1 junkie. No video = No sales!
I never heard one single song from TISL on the radio, so thank heavens for the videos or I wouldn't have even known she had a disk out. Uhhh if I was the general public that is.

I asked Lindsey a question at the FM.com fan club and although I can't even remember WHAT the heck I asked ( ), it wasn't "Are you and Stevie still friends?"

I agree.....I think they are very boring, and wonder if it is actually her answering them. Most of the answers can be found on any website, specifically this one and the Nicks Fix. Very disappointing. Boo hiss.

just 1 question, "What are the chances of a possible country music album in the future?"...But we get answers to some safe questions, I'm kinda disappointed myself...Brian J.

Guys, I hate to say it, but I don't even think it IS Stevie answering those questions. I think the only ones getting picked are the generic ones that her staff can answer.
I asked her what it is specifically that draws her to the artist Sulamith Wulfing and which works of the artist were her favorites. I thought it was a pretty good question, after all, she is quoted in the 80's calling Ms. Wulfing her favorite artist and that she deliberately had the Wild Heart Album cover designed to look like one of her paintings. Since she even has a dog named Sulamith, I thought she might want to elaborate on that. I have submitted that question twice, thinking it was something Stevie might feel comfortable discussing (not too personal), but so far, ........ nada.

Well, i suspect it is kind of like the list of questions that a celebritys PR people have that are the ok questions and not ok topics to ask when a celebrity appears on a show. I know that for many people, i imagine stevie is included, the PR rep has a list of topics that are not acceptable and since they want to promote the up-coming album and tour, they are gonna weed out those questions and focus on ones that have to do with helping promote. Also, the PR people look at the web site as a place to draw in new fans. They already have us so they are not all that intersested in caterin to us. THey are interested in getting that info out to new fans or possibly even reporters that are using the info they get off the site in a articles so no matter how much we complain it is most likely not gonna change and we will forever have to deal with the silly questions that we already know the answers to.
