Has FM really HAD an opening act ever? They may have during the early days, but from Rumours on it seems their setlist has been pretty full. Also to add though, they still MAY have an opening act if they do that sort of thing...they just haven't released that information yet.

I'm guessing there won't be an opening act. Mick's gotta have enough time for his drum solo - rofl;)

I know Squeeze opened for them on some of the "Behind the Mask" dates - which made for a fun double bill. But can't remember any other opening acts.

I think I heard Men at work opened some of the Mirage shows and a boogie band (a la ZZ Top) called The Cruzados (sp?) opened on some of the Tango tour shows, this is an interesting topic, anyone else know any others?
John
when i saw them on the Tango tour the Cruzados opened for them....where are they now??? Also, Men at Work opened for them on the Mirage tour. When i saw them on the Behind the Mask tour Squeeze opened for them. Noone opened for them on the Dance shows. I know that other artists regularly opened for them back in the day (70's)...Jack Mack and the Heartattack opened for some of the Tusk shows...anyone remember them??? i'm really dating myself now...they had a hit back in 1980 i think....i don't even remember the name....anyway, Bob Welch actually opened for them too on the 1978 tour i believe.

Actually, you might have to forget about that Nashville date. I just checked out Ticketmaster again, and it's back to "No Dates Scheduled."

"The nighty night Knight" was right (!!!) about that date possibly being a test for the ticketmaster system...Thanks Sorcerer386!!!

On the TITN tour 88 in Germany a band called "The Adventures" opened the show. They had a radio hit called "just send my heart" during this year, which is still available on Kazaa.

LMAO!! You are eeeeevil!! Actually, I won't MIND the opening act AS LONG AS Sheryl Crow isn't it and she isn't on stage with FM!!!!!!! BUT, sure, I'd love to see a band I like if there is an opening band....but I don't like many current bands so that is a shot in the dark...LOL

Why thanks! I would love to open for Fleetwood Mac! Have you heard any of my work?
Just kidding, I assume you're referring to Justin from American Idol. I wouldn't mind a good opening band either, and one that I was thinking of, and I have NO IDEA why because I don't think there's any connection, is Norah Jones. Of course, she's a big time grammy winner so I doubt she'd want to open, but she'd be a nice mellow opening for those who like her and for those who want to walk around the concession stands.
