This has been mentioned in other threads, but I thought I'd give people who haven't heard a heads-up.
Everyone who was turned off by the clip of "Peacekeeper" posted a few days ago: run, don't walk, to burnish.net and download the new version Tracy has posted there. It's so much better!
I must say, now I'm getting really excited about this CD. "Peacekeeper" is wonderful _ I love the lyrics _ and "Say You Will" is just about the catchiest thing I've heard since Hector was a pup. "Thrown Down" is cool too.
If what we've already heard is any indication, I think critics and the public will be equally impressed.

thanks to Tracy once again for posting this mp3 snippet on her site.

I actually love this song and it looks like it's timing is going to be right on target as FM's first single.

having Lindsey and Stevie musically together again is pure heaven...

but as a devoted FM, I'm sure glad I have the original version!!!

and that's thanks to all the other FM fans on the Internet who willingly share their favorite music. :wavey:

A Laker fan?? That was one of the late Lakers' announcer, Chick Hearn's frequently used catch phrases!

Hey Chili. Actually, I got that from my dad _ he used to say it all the time. HE, in turn, probably got it from Hearn (although I don't think my dad was ever a Lakers fan; he's from Cleveland). :)
Oh, and by the way, I meant to thank Tracy in my first post. Thanks for correcting the oversight, Bella.

arrrrghhhhhh.. i did it

i dl-ed it. against my will. i wanted to see if i could go this whole time without getting demos so the album would be a surprise, and the suspense got to me. i downloaded the song.

it's great. really nice. wish i had waited so i'd be like WOO HOO i can listen to the WHOLE song over and over. ah, such is life, we make it worse for ourselves. lol.

TG's site RULES.. it always has. (If you're lurkging, G.. I lub you! bwahahahaha..)

As a fellow citizen of Atlanta, I must say burnish.net is great. Long life and good fortune to her for the site. :wavey: :)

haha Sarah :wavey:, I'm trying to do the same thing and not listen to too much pre-released and/or demo stuff myself. I learned with TISL that having almost everything before the official release kinda spoiled my initial first listen to the album.

but I felt since Peacekeeper was an official release by FM to Third Watch and will be the first single prior to the album release,
I justified and rationalized my downloading the song snippet!! ;)
