I love Stevie Nicks I think she is the best singer ever she is so cool. I am really obssesed with her I listen to her all the time I named my Island Silver Springs for my Civics project. I was even named after one of her songs.

cool my sisters and i are all named after stevie songs. Rhiannon ,e
Greta and Bella. I guess i agree with you on the whole obssessed thing it kinda gives off that stalker vibe which isnt good. I guess listening to the music and that other stuff is just part of an every day occurance i dont even think about it. my friend called me obssessed today so i had that stuck in my head.

I thought I might be obsessed, but then I saw that VH1 Fan show thing that was on like a year or two ago. I was like... Um, NOPE! I'm not obsessed! I LOVE Stevie and the Mac and Lindsey, and visit the Penguin and the Ledge and other sites dedicated to them all the time, I listen to their music every day, I collect their music and go to the shows, I own a pair of red Stevie platform boots, a Lindsey Buckingham watch, and my cell phone rings "Rhiannon." :D
But I don't own any Stevie outfits or blonde wigs (I've never dyed my hair blonde or tried to do a Stevie 'do either), my walls aren't totally plastered with all pictures of her, I've never tried to meet Stevie or any of the band members (I think its so rude for fans to harrass them), and I wouldn't buy any autographed or weird memorabilia on ebay. I can't think of any other obsessive behavior that I don't engage in, but I described the extent of my sypmtoms of fandom, and I don't think they meet the obsessive criteria.
I know what you mean though, Rhiannon16...I have been called obsessed before...but not by any fellow fans, so I don't take it seriously.

Almost there... I named my lil' one Sara.... and I gave my hubby the options of Stephanie Lynn, Rhiannon, or Sara. I do have a room in my house thats dubbed "The Stevie Room" with an autographed poster, and some RS mags and tour books... and I am soon going to add all the solo albums to the wall, just as soon as I can find Street Angel and TISL on vinyl... anyone know where I can find these?;)
O.K.~ maybe somewhat obsessed!

Well, I'm not obsessed, I prefer the term "hopelessly enchanted", it takes the stalker part out.

Hopelessly Enchanted, I like that. That is freaky people thinking that they are Stevie's long lost kids. That is sad. I have a room at my house where I paint the covers of the albums on my walls. My gram's got a little mad when she first saw it, but she likes Stevie as much as I do so she grew on it. I've been one concert, but I'm only 16 so when Stevie was really popular I was not born or to young to go. I sing Stevie's songs at contests and stuff, and I draw pictures of her. I dress lie Stevie, but I started to dress like that when I was 10 and I had no clue who she ,I wear the platform boots or shoes(i started to wear those when I like the Spice Girls :o )but I'm like 4'11 I want to be tall.

Yes I would like to know myself. Do Tell.
I am now always wearing my Hard Rock "Phoenix" watch that I got on my trip out to AZ for the AHI benefit. I freak out when something happens to it too. Now I could go to Boston and get the exact same watch. BUT that one does not say "Phoenix". I don't think I am obsessed but I know people that would disagree.

It is being obbsessive if you want to meet Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac at the end of a concert? Or, just plain wanting to meet her? I really want to meet Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, but I don't think I'm obbssed.

Hehe...I got it on ebay :o:D. I guess I'm a hypocrite because I said I wouldn't bid on any weird memorabilia on ebay, and I've used ebay for very few things. It's funny, I have a Beatles watch with a white album theme that I love and I was thinking it would be cool to find a Fleetwood Mac one. So about 4 years ago, I went on ebay, and typed in "Fleetwood Mac" and "Watch" and, bang...there was Lindsey's handsome face on a timepiece! It's a black and white pic from the Law And Order era...just his face on the large watch face and the actual clock is a small white circle on one side of the picture so it covers like his shoulder and his ear, lol. The picture quality isn't that good. In fact, the watch was probably homemade but I love it. I was one of like 3 people who bid on this thing and I won it for 20 bucks plus 5 shipping. What luck! I actually spent more $$ on a new watch band for it because I didn't like the one that came with it. The one I put on is red leather, to go with my Stevie boots ;).....
People always look at my watch and are like "who's that???" and I say "Lindsey Buckingham" and most people are like, "WHO?!" Then if I say he's the hot guitar player/singer from Fleetwood Mac, some people are like...."Ohhhh...Stevie Nicks' ex boyfriend?" Ugh.
Other people who know I like the Mac ask me who it is and when I tell them, they're like, "Ohmygod, you're totally obsessed. " Please.
Others don't ask who it is, they say "Is that your boyfriend?" Sometimes I say no, sometimes I say yes ;) :D!!
My real boyfriend just thinks it's funny. He Isn't bothered by it, which is nice. In fact, I think my boyfriend thinks it's kinda hot that I'm a Stevie fan. He saw that famous Rhiannon video (Rosebud?) and he was definitely a fan after that. But you wouldn't catch him wearing a Stevie watch. :D

I took the weird stalker conotation out of "obsessed" long ago. A friend of mine from high school and I are always obsessed about something...senior year..my obsession became Fleetwood Mac and eventually Stevie Nicks...
I collect stuff...music (of course) and have several Stevie and Mac posters, I made a nift collage out of magazine clippings, I've got several Mac/Stevie t-shirts...but I've never tried to meet any of them and stuff....
I have actually calmed down a lot in my zeal for collecting Stevie stuff...it got too expensive for me :)
