When did you become a fan & how old are you now?
Just curious to know more about my fellow Ledgies!
Also will be posting this over on the Rumors board. I like to post both places because I get more input.
I was 4 & loved "Stop Draggin My Heart Around". I always loved FM too but it wasn't till I was about 10 that I realized that Stevie was the other "girl" in FM. I remember thinking, "So that's why I like them so much!"
I'm 24 now.

I was 5 years old when I first heard Dreams playing on the radio. I instantly took a liking to the song. Many years later, I got reaquainted with FM through the Dance and have been a huge fan of FM and Stevie ever since.

Well, I had never heard Stevie's music until this year. I knew who she was, my mom had the Wild Heart on vinyl and one time when I was younger I looked at it and was like, why does this lady have a guy's name? lol. anyway I was a big Sheryl Crow fan (I still like her though not as much) and I had bought her live CD which featured Stevie singing Gold Dust Woman. I was blown away by the song and was instantly captivated by the voice! Anyway, a few days after that my dad and I were watching VH1's 100 greatest albums and Rumours came on. My dad told me it was a great CD and that I should buy it, and since I usually like my father's taste in music and I wanted to hear more of Stevie, I went out and bought it. And from that point on, I was hooked. I know have almost all of Stevie's albums, both solo and with Fleetwood Mac and I'm working on getting the rest.
I'm 18.

I liked Dreams when I heard it on the radio as a little girl(it got constant air play) but I really started getting into Stevie in the 80's with the release of her first solo album. I then dug through all of my parents FM albums and totally fell in love! I'd listen over and over, and I still do. I guess you could say I'm obsessed at times. It could be worse! (LOL)

I guess i became a fan when Bella Donna came out...I loved "Stop Draggin My Heart Around" and bought the 45...then HBO had her concert on (White Wing Dove) and i fell in love even more...i jsut thought she was incredibly beautiful to say the least and had a definate grace and style about her that set her apart from the others. Right at that time i learned she was in Fleetwood Mac and the rest is history. i was 11 then. I'm 32 now!
Nae...i hear ya!

I became a big fan in around 1984 when I was 14. I knew of Fleetwood Mac but a neighbour (who incidentally was a year younger than me) played me Edge of 17 from Bella Donna. And that was it! Hook, line and sinker!

A few years ago when i was 14, i was going camping and i normally take cd's because the trip can get a little boring. But i was tired of all of my cd's. So i decided to check out my dad's collection of cd's and pick a couple out. Needless to say, I picked up Fleetwood Mac, Rumours and The Dance. I was instantly hooked:laugh: The whole four hours there, the whole week i was there and the whole four hours home, those were the only 3 cd's to every be in that cd player!
That's how i became a FM fan!
(and the day after i got home from that trip, i bought Timespace)

My sister listened to them in the 80's...I liked Little Lies...but never really realized that other songs I liked were by Fleetwood Mac...then I heard the Dance...but I didn't want to...I was stuck in a car with my sister and her husband and they were listening to it....and I pretended to be asleep....but when Rhiannon started I really started paying attention...and I just fell in love...and then listened to more FM...as much as I could get my hands on...and I started learning about the ban...then I vowed I would never become a "weird Stevie Nicks obsessive" so I tried to get all into Christine...then there's a fuzzy line...and I am now a bona-fide weird Stevie Nicks obsessive lol :D
Oh...this all happened when I was 17 :)

Well I've been a fan since about the summer of 8th grade (VERY depressing summer) when I decided to dust off the cobwebs off of my mothers "Enchanted" Boxset since I thought she would like it because we watched the BTM a thousand and one hundred times and I suggested to my stepfather he get it for her birthday but really....it was ME subconciously that fell in love with it.......Wooooooooooooooo I LIKE my runons...;)
Then since I already had all those Stevie songs I was HELL BENT on buying each Mac album one by one by listening to "Stand Back" off Enchanted...while doing the dishes ...while dancing..and lipsyncing till I got PAID enough to buy each one and THEN proceeded to buy every STEVIE album!...Woooooooooo AGAIN:laugh:
I'm a SENIOR in HIGHSCHOOL now and 17 years old:nod:

Well.... I've always liked Fleetwood but didn't become an addict until "The Dance" came out. My mom played "FM" and "Rumours" thoughout my childhood and I always really liked them. Then this one day I was flipping through the channels on my tv and I came across the concert.... it was during Lindsey's preformance of "Big Love".... I was speechless! That was the moment I became hooked. I'll never forget it...
Anyways, I'm 21 now and love them more than ever!

My parents used to play FM to me when I was a baby, and when I was 13(still am)I really wanted know who FM were. I asked someone and they told to me to buy or borrow one of their albums. I asked my dad for one of their albums and he gave me Greatest Hits 1988. I listened to the first 2 songs and I was like 'I've heard these before, they're both amazing.' When I listened to Little Lies, I realised that when I was a child, my mum played this album to me and she would sing along to the song.
About one month later, I got Tango and Greatest Hits 1971. I've been buying FM albums every month since July.

I was 10 or 11 when the green album came out, and I HATED it because mom and dad liked it. I remember us going to the movies with my best friend Beth, and mom was playing that tape, and I was so embarrased. But when I heard Sara, I looked at mom and said ya know, she has the most beautiful voice....
Then at 16 I heard the green album all over again ( I was with the same best friend, It was her boyfriends album) and I made him play it over and over again that night. When I got home, I went looking madly for that tape mom had. I even drove to her work to ask her where it was. Needless to say, I was at the music store the next day buying music! I'm 25 now, and still love Stevie just as much as I did 10 years ago!
