This is another reason people say Don Henley is the biggest a##hole in the music business. Who outs a woman about an abortion among other things. Who does not tip after ordering 10 steaks to your house.

To say nothing of the 16 year old sex worker found overdosed at his house back in the 70s, with another 15 year old found under the influence of drugs. He says he didn't know their ages, and he got two years of probation and a $2,500 fine. And he had the gall to be upset about bad publicity and wrote the song Dirty Laundry about it all.

And yet, his ex-girlfriend whose abortion he outed still thinks he's the best.

Gross.

The only detail that makes me doubt the story's accuracy is that a stranger would be left alone in the kitchen of a millionaire star's home. I would assume there would be security staff keeping a constant eye on him. Anyway, I know stars were pretty careless during their wilder years, but if this happened in the 90s, I’d think Don would have been a bit more cautious by then.

You seriously think its a made up story? The guy explained all the security he had to go through to get into the house. Once you are cleared and let in there are not armed guards in the kitchen. Don values his privacy but he wants his steaks delivered.
The only part of the story that was odd was it was implied Don ordered the steaks in his real name. Hard to believe. I think he realized who lived there as he pulled up and not beforehand. Too many details to make up such a story like the woman that spelled his name wrong. Remember this was from the 1980s and not today.
The guy who made the video is a very famous child actor and adult actor. The celebrity stories he tells are far more interesting and compelling than Don Henley stiffing him for a tip while Don had a stiffy in the upstairs bedroom.
He worked in movies with Lucille Ball and was on several hit shows in the United States. The moral of the story is not even about the tip it was about Don's life, hidden behind security gates, guard shacks, and having endless models roaming the house that did not even know how to spell his last name. Completely believable.

I said accuracy, not veracity.

Ok I maybe exaggerated saying "security staff", but I didn't imply there should be SWAT guys with AK-47s in the kitchen. I mean, I realize about all the security infrastructure around the house. But that's why I find absurd that then they left someone they don't know alone in the kitchen. I don't know about you guys, but I wouldn't do that, and I don't have luxurious things at home, and obviously not Don Henley's money. It is just common sense for someone with a bit precaution.

But, probably Don was still l living kind of a wild life in the 90s, and at that moment, his harem was all that mattered to him.

And yes I know who the Labyorteaux are. Being an artist is no guarantee that he cannot forget or confuse details of something that happened 30 years ago. And if it is, then we should never question the stories told by this famous singer, stories we sometimes don't believe, that we think she’s lying. What’s her name? Give me a minute, oh, right. Stevie Nicks. :)

Meanwhile, the Joe Walsh is more nice.

He went through security twice. He was delivering something Don ordered. Who has armed security in their house? The woman invited him in. Chances are Don did not want him in the house and this could have been resolved at the door but Don was too busy with the women. Its not like he just pulled up and walked in the house. He commented on how many times he had to go through security to get to the house. Don was safe.
Its odd there was not an assistant to take care of all of this but it appears Don wanted to be alone with all the women.
