Princess wrote Manic Monday. I never knew

[FuzzyPlum]

Listening to Prince a lot recently.
Couldn’t help thinking 1999 sounded a lot like Manic Monday by The Bangles. In fact, I keep singing 1999 in my head and it segues into Manic Monday.
So I looked it up….never really thought about The Bangles. Princess wrote Manic Monday. I never knew. Now it makes sense!!!!!
Sorry to create a thread just about this revelation….but just had to share this observation/revelation

Ok my first idea was to post a sarcastic comment cause I had no idea there was a "Princess" singer. But I just learned there is, silly me. However, the Manic Monday wikipedia page says Songwriter: Prince (as Christopher).

So... who are you actually referring to?

Ummmm Prince
Ok- may have been a teeny-weeny bit tipsy
But, yeah….Prince, obvs

The Buggles “Video Killed The Radio Star” and Asia’s “Heat of the Moment” have a similar story.
