Thanks for posting. It’s a cool collage of Christine moments. Even though some images are not properly processed. In the first scene Lindsey appears in good resolution but then the video becomes slightly distorted and Stevie looks like Nefertiti.

I didn’t expect Dennis pictures, I hadn’t realized by that moment it was a summary of her trajectory, almost a 12 minutes bio. It’s cool Julie included BTM and Time lineups pictures, you don’t see that often.

That was FANTASTIC. Thanks so much!

Should I be shocked that Julie sure comes across as a fan? I mean, it's her dad's ex-wife. I wouldn't think most kids would like their dad's ex?

you are confused, my dear. :) molly is john's daughter. julie was his wife but she passed away. i doubt the woman who made this is any relation to john. and btw molly had no issues with chris. she was her godmother!

It's been a long time, and I never really followed John's personal life as closely as the others. My bad.

I agree. The YT channel description quotes an ABBA song in a funny way, on a channel with just 2 videos, both related/dedicated to Fleetwood Mac. I find it silly. I don't think it is a John's relative. I don't recognize her face in the photo either, nor her leg. Well, I don't remember any Molly or Julie picture, I admit. But it's a cool video anyway.

Thanks for posting. This made my day. That In The Meantime interview was always so awkward.

Funny, I always thought she looked relaxed and happy during the ITM footage.,

I was referring to the interview not her looks. Chris puts her in her place a few times in a subtle way don't you think? The interviewer sometimes looked like she had egg on her face.

That In The Meantime interview was always so awkward.

Wasn't that the interview where she said she felt her songs on Fleetwood Mac albums were considered or treated as padding? Something she obviously didn't feel on her solo project. I'm sure that was the word she used, I remember we commented that here and obviously completely disagreed with her.

I think she was in a bad mood that day because she has brought out so many singles that I'm sure increased albums sales. Not to mention that it was her singles that put Tango in the Night on the map in many countries. When she said that, it made me think she left the band not just to look for peace and quiet in England; it seemed there was a feeling of bitterness toward the rest of the group. I want to think she was only having a bad day.

Oh you meant the interviewer? I didn't notice anything, I'll have to look at it again.

I love they way she answers the "lady" question in the intro of this video.

Wow, I didn't get any of this, bad mood or awkwardness thing(s). She seemed in a chill mood. I think she was commenting that ITM doesn't have any padding. I'm not sure she was talking about her songs of FM.

If anything, I think she probably meant some of LB's songs (on FM albums). hahaha Oh Diane, might be some padding. :wavey:

Watch the entire interview and not the little pieces in the currently posted interview. Chris corrects her several times. I always found it awkward. Even here the interviewer reads her a review on the album and Chris calls her out is that a compliment, what does it mean? And the interviewer is lost and has nothing to say and holds up the CD LOL.
But then again maybe its just me. When people pass away sometimes the context is lost. But when this interview made it to youtube many moons ago I found it awkward. To be fair Chris did not want to do promotions for the album yet she agreed talking to this woman. I often wondered why Chris would not reveal the meaning behind the title. She was a firm NO.

Oh, that's probably right. What I do remember is that some of us understood she meant her Mac songs. SYW had been released the previous year and then she recorded ITM. Perhaps our theories went too far, since she had left the band looking for peace and quiet, and then she released an album? We didn't yet know if she would tour. She didn't, but if she had, it would have contradicted her reasons for leaving Fleetwood Mac. I remember that "padding" phrase generated a brainstorm that year. :)

I think Christine is well chilled throughout..and her Brummie humour….of slight sarcasm, and self depreciation is all there.

I also think she is slightly …tipsy…throughout.

Lol I think she may have been . She always liked a buzz and was definitely still drinking then.

That comment about the frothy self deception was weird, she didn't know what the hell to make of it . I didn't get a sense of bitterness towards the group though...? Maybe she was just bitter/frustrated about her own situation.

I think she left wanting to "retire" but quickly realized she was bored to tears. The marriage was a disaster and ed was gone not too long after she moved there. And after that new relationship fell through, she was full of inspiration to do something musical but couldn't follow the album up w much besides that TV interview and a few others... and after she sort of went downhill w the drinking and isolation and agoraphobia. I don't think she had any thoughts of "rejoining" at that point but I also think she wasn't particularly thrilled w her circumstances, either.

She reads it to her and asks her what it means, and neither of them knew. I found it somewhat funny, and thought Chris handled it like she always does.
The interviewer didn't know what it meant either. I felt they were kind of making fun of the review.

I've watched the ITM footage a million times. I always felt it was chill and laid back, just like the album. I mean, she's on a scooter in some of the footage!! haha

I know she didn't want to travel or do anything with it, but I'm not seeing that here. She looks like her normal chill self here.

The awkward part I felt is the intro where they ask about the "ladies". That for sure gives me an "awkward" vibe.

Agreed. Tipsy and chill is what I get. She's always been slightly self deprecating. Sarcastic is a norm, too.

And.......... She never likes her solo albums.
Whereas, LB's always making the best music he's ever made ever.

I think she had a lot of joy writing and producing this album. I suspect after the "production" was completed and it was time to get down to the "business" of everything, she hurt her back and fell back into isolation. I also think promoting the music and/or the thought of touring was not going to be cathartic in getting over the "new chap". As opposed to "writing about him" which was very mentally healthy for her. I also love how she has the songs in an "arc" of a relationship. If you read the titles of the songs out loud, it all makes sense. Clever Christine.

But, as I say, the thought of the 'business' probably overwhelmed her again, as it did after the Dance. We do know she started heavily drinking again after this, and wouldn't even join FM for a "one off" let alone re-joining.
