A snippet of “Don’t Let Me Down Again” was posted on the Instagram pages of Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks with the caption “Wednesday”. The post shows an image of a vintage radio with low-fidelity audio of “Don’t Let Me Down Again” accompanying the visuals. I’m pleased that they’re still promoting the album. Similar to “Crying in the Night”, I expect the song to briefly pop up on the iTunes digital downloads chart for a day and little more, but I would like to be proven wrong. This song was actually the first single released from the album back in 1973, which was followed by “Crying in the Night” several months later.

I saw it too. Nice. I liked the visual of it. So vintage. I'm looking forward to September when the album comes out.

That old radio is very cool. Those needles moving to the rhythm, oh what memories of those years.

I meant to post this message here, but as expected, "Don't Let Me Down Again" has indeed been released today. I'm curious if any additional songs on Buckingham Nicks will be released before the album's September 19th release. Given that we're still one month away from the release, I would be surprised if nothing else is done to hype up the album.

If anything, I would be most interested in a set of interviews from the surviving personnel from Buckingham Nicks where they discuss the making of the album. Someone like Gary Hodges would be great to hear from.

Also, "Don't Let Me Down Again" is currently number one on the US iTunes downloads chart.

And today there's a new post mentioning DLMDA with an old photo of B&N.

i saw Hoppy commenting on a post today! he said he and Tom Moncrief and Bob Aguirre were the original touring band and to 'bring it on, baby-- it's been 52 years coming!' guess he'd love to see a tour...but i still doubt it will happen...

This is the strangest release cycle from any members of the FM camp that I've ever witnessed since becoming a serious fan in 1997.

Not a single interview with either of them since the announcement 2+ weeks ago? Heck, Christine did more interviews around the release of her Songbird compilation. I guess they've decided if they can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I guess they've decided if they can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I think it's something like that. And their managers were who actually negotiated, defined the agreements, etc. with all involved people. And with their respective approval of L&S, of course. I don't see those two talking face to face, not even by phone, and saying Hey, let's release it now!

And their community managers are who decide to post the same things simultaneously.

Given everything they have said in the last 7-8 years, and the fact that neither of them can restrain themselves from saying something nasty when asked about the other, this is the best option.

I'm sure everything about this was heavily negotiated.

They probably decided to release it while they're both around to see it. Perhaps Christine's passing made it real that they don't have forever.

Their teams know that a reporter could never do an interview with either one of them and NOT touch on the subject of their feud, the firing, or reading something one of them said about the other and asking them for a reaction. ("Stevie, Lindsey said you're jealous he has kids... how do you respond to that?" "Lindsey, Stevie has said that she's given you a million chances and you've consistently blown it and she finally had enough... what do you have to say about that?")

Stevie's team is very strong and will NOT put her in a position to answer stuff she doesn't want to answer but reporters will ask sh&t anyway so.... just don't even set up any interviews.

I think Lindsey would talk about it to some extent because he still feels aggrieved but he'd probably get into how he'd like to find a way to "close the circle". And then.... they'd go back to Stevie to ask her about them all reuniting and she'd have to say nope not gonna happen  and she's not going to ever want this to be spun like she's the bad guy here or she's the one that broke everything apart. She thinks he's the one who broke it all apart over years of bad behavior and she's no longer interested in defending her position.

Nope, nicht, nunca will there be interviews let alone any tour or one-off shows or anything. Not gonna happen  https://www.tiktok.com/@stevienicksnation_/video/7242788341102497050

After the disastrous "I'm not the boss" interview Stevie will not allow herself to be put in a question and answer interview that she can't control. She looked petrified in that interview and Mick came across as a person who struggled to tell the truth so to not piss off his boss and throw millions out the window. Azoff is not getting paid millions to allow that to happen either.

What's kind of crazy at this point...2018 was 7 years ago. That's like folks within the FM camp in 1997 still grinding an axe about something that happened in 1990.

I can't imagine being that bitter at her age, plus being alone, and facing vision issues from her macular degeneration she revealed last year or so. The real truth is, she's never stopped grinding the axe since the 70s and is filled to the brim with resentment.
