Hello Ledgies,
The Phonogenics Fleetwood Mac panel met last night and we had a wonderful discussion about the 'Bare Trees' album. I really enjoyed this discussion as much as I enjoy this album. What's the consensus on this album? Share your thoughts!

Thanks again Jeremy. These are so wonderful. I think you hit the nail on the head. THIS is the album where Christine shows up as a member and is a premonition to her super stardom. She sort of crept in softly and her contributions to Future Games are great. Bare Trees she makes her mark and giving us more than a hint of what is yet to come. Spare Me A Little and Sentimental Lady are classics that even casual Mac fans know. A really fantastic album.
I am bracing myself and already in pre-therapy when you guys get to Mystery To Me because I know you are not a fan of Why. I hope when you prep for that session you listen and give this song another chance. Its a mastery of emotions from the opening slide guitar weeping and when Chris's piano kicks in. It still moves me every time I hear it. Its a lyrical masterpiece too. From the first verse you think she is over this heart break because her heart will rise up. But then the ending she is completely breaking with Why won't you love me.

Thanks, Jeremy. Always a pleasure to watch these after the fact and learn some new stuff about the Mac (and other bands!).
