There are many things to stare at these days... don't blame it on me...

Well, considering that I mixed up stair and stares in my post (should have been stare and stairs), maybe my gate needs a garden

Say what you will, but watching Stevie Nicks exude pure joy in the makeup chair while belting out "Wild Heart" to the tune of Fleetwood Mac's "Can't Go Back" is a Heavenly, out of body experience.

I have certainly been critical of Stevie, and no one needs to see this clip for 10 hours straight. However - this stands as one of the top 5 greatest Stevie Nicks moments ever captured on film.

It is a great moment. It’s the ten-hour loop that I’m reacting to.

but did she give Lindsey writing credit as she stole his track? No, she did not.

Not sure she could give credit, someone just picked up a camera and captured off the cuff moments. It's a photo shoot where Stevie had new tracks from the recently recorded "Mirage" sessions playing in the background. There is another film from the photo shoot where she is singing along to Fleetwood Mac's "Only Over You".

The track she's singing to is LB's instrumental, 'Suma's Walk.' I'm still not sure she should give credit...that's how the band worked in those days, and who knows what of hers she gave over to him in those years...but that would be the justification here for why she should have. She is singing her words to his music.

Yes, I know 'Suma's Walk". This is akin to me and two friends sitting in the living room of my house while having my hair done. An instrumental track of Blondie's "Dreaming" is playing loudly on the stereo and I start playfully singing my own lyrics over the track. Someone picks up a camera and films it.

It isn't a demo session. It isn't a recording studio. It isn't a public performance. Someone picked up a camera and filmed me in a private moment. Do I give credit? Credit for what? Who knew anyone was going to see this?

Send out a press release. Notify Warner-Tamarlane Publishing. I was drunk and singing some lyrics while having my makeup done. Someone filmed. Give Lindsey credit, publishing, and a royalty check?

Sorry; I think I misread the post of yours that I quoted. Thanks for your patience.
