I’m hopeful we’ll see some new Stevie Nicks interviews pop up, but in the meantime, I stumbled across this site: https://www.fleetwoodmac-uk.com/bootlegs/sn_audio_bootlegs.html. It has a few interviews I hadn’t heard before, including one from 1981 and the Castle Walls interview from 1989.

It made me wonder -- does anyone even trade rare interviews or audio anymore? It feels like trading used to be the best way to uncover these kinds of gems, but I’m not sure if that’s still a thing now.

If trading has faded away, how do we get access to stuff we haven’t heard before? Is it just about keeping an eye out and hoping someone shares it online?

I’d love to hear if anyone has ideas or knows how to track down more rare Stevie interviews. Hopefully, these treasures are not lost forever!

I don’t know if I can put my hands on any of my old interviews. Maybe they’re in a closet. If I find anything, I would just upload it to a file sharing site and let you guys know.

I would love to hear some old interviews because they are good reminders of little details.

Jim Ladd talked to Lindsey and Mick for Tusk and Lindsey again for Law and Order and Stevie and Mick for Mirage — and Lindsey and Christine for Mirage!

All the Ladd interviews would constitute a great education in Fleetwood Mac. The earliest Ladd I have was given to me by Laura Gross, I believe. It’s the whole band in the studio in 1976. They’re exhausted from lengthy recording sessions but still joking around with one another and pretend-cursing. Did you hear that one?

I think so! That's the one where they discuss the pronunciation of Rhiannon, that clocks in at about 24 minutes? If so, yes. I don't have any Ladd interviews from Mirage though.

Other Ladd interviews I DO have include...

1981 SN
1983 SN
1983 SN (Afterview)
1985 SN (Telephone)
1986 SN
1991 SN (Live at the Whiskey)
