Unsubstantiated rumors on Twitter etc that Lindsey will also be onboard at the Fire Aid concert.... I take this with a big grain of salt given his fallout not just with Stevie but more importantly with Irving, who is the organizer.

Star-Studded FireAid Lineup The highly anticipated lineup features a mix of
global superstars and iconic artists, including:
• Sir Rod Stewart
• Sting
• Billie Eilish (performing with her brother,
Finneas O'Connell)
• Stevie Nicks
• Joni Mitchell
• Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham
• Gwen Stefani
• Red Hot Chili Peppers
• Lady Gaga
• Katy Perry
• Pink

If true, this would terrific. I assumed that Lindsey had mostly retired from live performances and appearances given his lack of activity since 2022. One-off performances are less grueling than a full-fledged tour, so this could be more workable for him.

He definitely won't be performing. The lineup is big name artists. Lindsey is not a big name.

It almost seems like a dig that they have to say 'fleetwood mac's lindsey buckingham'...does the world really not know who he is?? i'm curious to see what he does there...

I think the same. It's a dig. Especially since they fired him.

I still can't find any confirmation that he's really on the agenda, but this was the site people pointed to as to where they got the idea. Not sure it's the most reliable or reputable  The chatter on social media is that wouldn't it be great if he came out and he and Stevie did Landslide together one more time.....

Yes. It's ridiculous

If he is announced I think he will perform. He is an artist and his name was added to the list.

Ok sit down everybody. What if? What if Stevie requested him for Landslide. Stevie using the fires as her rationalization to perform with Lindsey again. She wants to do something special to steal everyone's thunder and prove to the world what a wonderful person she is.
Just remember you heard it hear first ;)

I think it would be great if he did. He's a Californian through and through. I hope he hasn't retired from live performing. I would love to see him again, either in this forum or another one.

With this crew, all of these fallouts last until they don't.
Stevie: "We had to do this for "LA. LA is bigger than Lindsey and I" blah blah blah.

Not gonna happen.:sorry:

But I understand why people fantasize about it.

If she had anyone from FM onstage with her, the only one really possible would be Mick.... and I don't think that's gonna happen either.

Yes! When they hold hands and embrace. She will have tears in her eyes and it will be sincere this time.
Mick will be calling promoters faster than a jet plane or star stream.
One more time
She says don't let that golden hair get in your way babe

Not fantasizing about it at all. It would be a pathetic stunt. Using a tragedy to make amends for your despicable behavior is not ok in my book.

Sorry, wasn't referring to you when I said "fantasizing". I was referring to all the shippers on social media who have been freaking out about it since the rumor first started.

I am not on social media to know that but it appears I am not the only one that smells a stunt coming.

I know what it smells like

You really believe LB will perform with Stevie at FireAid?

She just said she couldn’t stand to talk with him for more than 3 minutes at Christine’s celebration of life. She basically said Lindsey is jealous that she (Stevie) is an icon. She told CBS she couldn’t have a kid because Lindsey would have been mad. She hates that guy!

I’d rather see Lindsey and Gwen Stefani perform together, or Lindsey and Pink, instead of Lindsey and Stevie.

Do I have to turn in my fan badge?

MF posted on Instagram this weekend that he will be in LA playing in support of healing from the wildfires. I wonder if he's playing with Stevie since I don't see his name mentioned on it's own?

I know Mick is playing at the MusiCares Persons of the Year honoring Grateful Dead the day after FireAid but he could be playing with Stevie too!

And it's possible he meant this event in his Instagram. It will be a fundraiser for music professionals affected by the wildfires.

He might have been invited, simply for the great musician he is!

Even though this benefit is very important because it is to raise money towards the costs of rebuilding after the 'LA Fires, this event shouldn't, just, be about how popular the performer is. Their willingness to, even, perform is even more important. Just my opinion, as always!

I’m with you but Irving Azoff the producer isn’t thinking that way. If he was, Neil Finn, Mike Campbell, Rick Vito, and Billy Burnette would be on the line up!

Irving and Shelli Azoff are producing the event with AEG and Live Nation. I’d gather this fundraiser was Irving and Shelli’s idea.
