I remember this interview very well. She actually comes off in most of it as pretty decently self-aware, with, of course, some humdinger Stevie-isms about making women's lib go away and how HER being sexually assaulted is very different from other women getting sexually assaulted ... and how she just can't go out and party because she's too famous... and of course, she's slowed way down on the wild/drug/party side of her life and is tapering that off.
But overall she comes off relatively sober and in touch.

Thank you for sharing that; I remember that article. THAT is the Stevie Nicks that I was enchanted by.
She has changed so much since then.
To quote her….”we all grow up and the veils come down…. But the children go on…”
I miss that Stevie.

I like seeing these articles in their original context, with the layout and pictures and all.
She uses the phrase "big love", which is emphasized by italics. I don't know it to be an idiomatic phrase, so is it reasonable to draw a conclusion about this later being the name a FM song? Does anybody know this to be a term that was ever in halfway common usage at any time?

the expression of a "big love" has been around a long time
it means like a major, important, serious love

I've never heard it. Maybe it was common for California hippies.

As I was a New England very non-hippie in the 70s, I'd say it was known/used further than that.

There's an old country song, that has been redone several times, "I've got a big, big, love". Wynn Stewart was the original.
