American Analog Set/Wooden Birds comparison

[The Chain]

I know this is an eclectic opinion but I also know many people on this board have eclectic taste- Is anyone a fan of the American Analog Set, or the side project of frontman Andrew Kenny, The Wooden Birds? The sparse production and arrangements remind me so much of what Lindsey did for Christine's songs on Tusk, or even in the vein of Under The Skin.. especially on their album "Magnolia", (The Wooden Birds). I put it on the turntable tonight after a nice dinner party and wine tasting, realized I've never posited the question here. Anyway, regardless of if you agree or disagree, it is a beautiful album, worth checking out:)

Wouldn't this belong in Chit Chat?

Wouldn't this belong in Chit Chat?

Well, I thought it being a direct comparison to a Rumours era album/production style, it was fitting, if it needs to be moved so be it.
