I cant believe this is almost a quarter century old already. A much more humble Stevie saying "My fans probably give me credit for things that I don't deserve credit for"

Dan Matsumoto used to post here. Come back, Daniel!
He is a nice guy and apparently had a helluva good time doing that segment.

This is a fun watch. The dad and daughter are the pair I remember most. And, the Wild Heart Affair in San Francisco. So many other events in years since!

I am a journalist and when I started out on my college daily I was entertainment editor. I interviewed Kenny Loggins back then, and 40 years and hundreds of interviews later, he remains the nicest guy I ever interviewed..
The same night I talked to Loggins I interviewed
Stevie Nicks (KL was on the same touri as
Fleetwood Mac). She remains the snottiest person I ever interviewed.
Curiously, another commenter responded to this guy's comment saying they'd also met Stevie and that she was with her mother at the time and both Stevie AND her mother looked at him like he was dirt and walked away...
Reminds me of another video I saw where the songwriter who wrote "Like A Virgin" was interviewed... he told the story of how one of the producers introduced him to Madonna. She was dating Warren Beatty at the time, and the producer called her (and Warren with her) over and said "this is so-and-so, he wrote Like A Virgin" and the songwriter said to her "I've always wanted to meet you!" and she sort of just looked at him like he was nobody and then said "Well, now you have" and grabbed Beatty's arm and waltzed off...... The poor guy said he was just crushed....

I actually never wanted to meet Stevie because I always had a hunch that this may be the way that she is.I met Christine once and she was sweet .gracious and very down to earth .Kind of the opposite of what I imagine the other would be.

I told this story before, but I met this woman who provided catering for a Stevie concert in arizona, back in the day. She said Stevie was a total b****, and complained about everything the entire day long.

I've only ever met Mick and Lindsey, and Lindsey was by far the nicer of the two. Mick wasn't actually rude or anything, but rather... indifferent. Like he was just getting through it and very little interaction (except for one attractive blonde and her kid to whom he had an animated convo about something to do with Hawaii). And his assistant was...:distress:
Lindsey wasn't entirely thrilled I would imagine, doing meet and greets, and yet he bucked up and was gracious and even had a sense of humor about it. When I thanked him for doing them but said I was surprised that he would, and then added "Maybe I should actually thank whoever is twisting your arm to do this" he chuckled and pointed to a guy across the room and said "That would be Bob" (or whatever the guy's name was, I can't recall).

I've heard for years, that Mick is only nice to you if there's something in it for him. $$$$$

I think the assistant's name is Jamie. Awkward yet acts like they're a hot bodybuilder. I saw Jamie at a 2019 Mac show waving down some person from higher in a section to come down to grab passes from them.
