Yes! That's arguably the only knock I have with Tusk. However, I don't know where I would have put one of Christine's songs in that sequence without killing the flow of the album.

The flow of the album is that there is no flow. You may be used to or familiar with the tracking of all these years though. I dont find it a coincidence that the albums most quirky song The Ledge is followed by the album's most conventional track Think About Me. Christine does disappear midway through and I find that annoying. There is a separate thread around where we played with retracking Tusk and I must say, I vastly improved the album with my tracking :)
Tusk is the only album that gives Stevie an album side lead with Angel. None of her songs are ever the first track on any album side. Being it was a double album with 4 sides is not much of a bragging point. Stevie also never had the lead single off any Mac album. These were subtle ways of trying to remind everyone that Stevie was not the lead singer of the band. Holding her to only 3 songs held Mirage back because she was on fire during that time. Book of Love or Diane could have been dropped (or both) for Smile At You and Mirage would have been so much better. Even with BTM, the band held to this tradition.

Lots of coincidences there, fun to read through them. I think I wore out my Tusk vinyl back in the day and didn't really pay much attention to Christine's disappearance, but in hindsight, wow, she's barely noticeable through those tracks, but makes up for it from Brown Eyes on. With Mirage, totally agree about Stevie's song count I would say at minimum one more song, definitely Smile at You, but If You Were My Love was pretty close to being fleshed out and could've featured enough Buckingham to axe his weaker songs, which coincidentally, weigh the album down.

Oh Diane was a surprise hit for the band. It's on the UK and antipodean versions of the Greatest Hits album. I think of it as Fleetwood Mac's Fernando for some reason. Side 2 Lindsey songs stay.
There is little consensus on this board but a few months ago with the least favorite Lindsey songs, Oh Diane was all over it (now that I said that the Oh Diane crowd will strike back).
On Mirage we get a country Stevie with That's Alright, a pop Stevie with Gypsy, a rock Stevie with Straight back. We need that angry Stevie to complete the circle. Smile at You was so needed on Mirage. Something has to go. Oh Diane for sure. For an extended Smile at you, Book of Love is the vice. Or maybe just maybe a re-recorded Oh Daddy would be nice ;)

Let's be clear. NONE of the Mirage songs suck. They are all really good. But when you have better material Oh Diane needs left as a B side or left as a demo somewhere. You gotta make decisions. I do love when the band lip synced it to that dance club. King of Pops in England? I forget. They were so rich with songs and Lindsey got too many and Stevie got so few. Buckingham Nicks were popular in a city called Birmingham
Yes, according to Mick's first book:
But Buckingham Nicks enjoyed one last gasp. Right after they joined us, someone in Birmingham, Alabama called up and asked them to headline a show. Twice in the previous year Buckingham Nicks had opened shows there; the local radio played their album, which enjoyed strong local sales. So they flew off to Alabama with three other players and discovered that Buckingham Nicks had sold out a six-thousand-seat hall! And the audience went nuts when they came out. Their minds were completely boggled. Unknown in L.A., unable even to get a cheap gig somewhere, they were heroes in Birmingham. They played several dates of this great Buckingham Nicks Farewell Tour. At the last show, Lindsey announced that they were joining Fleetwood Mac, and the audience could only gape, silently. What, Lindsey Buckingham wondered, were they getting themselves into?

Ever notice…
Christine still has not acknowledged her 1973 affair with Martin Birch—and Mick has never written a word about it, despite the Bobs spilling the beans during their respective Q&As.
Bob Brunning also mentioned it in his shabbily researched account of the band, though it’s not certain he isn’t merely plagiarizing the other Bobs.
Edit: Also not suggesting she should acknowledge it. Only that, if it’s true, which is likely given both Bobs confirming, then it is a significant piece of Mac drama conspicuously absent from official record.

But was it that simple (cheating and “being a ho”?). From what both Bobs have said, the McVie’s marriage was rocky at that point and John was often absent on benders. So, maybe she wasn’t being a ho at all. Maybe she was just finding love where she could.
Mind you—I also don’t think bring a straight-up ho is necessarily bad. I just think her (Mick’s) omission of this is odd, given that she freely admits to the affair with Curry Grant.

At the start of the Little Lies video, Christine's chair is so low at the piano it looks very fake or like a child playing, but later in the video the chair is higher relative to the piano, such that it looks like she could actually be playing the piano without developing carpal tunnel syndrome.

Her thigs are horizontal in both pictures, though in the second picture a bit inclined, but not that much. In the first pic her thigs are alined to the piano third square. In the second, alined between second and third square, so I'd say the chair is upper in the second scene.
However in the first pic we can't see the fence, so most likely is the angle from where the camera was recording, that made that effect.

Really, people!
The seat of the chair aka her thighs are also much higher in the second scene relative to the piano even after accounting for the perspective change. But we need not linger on her thighs.
All we need do is observe the top of the chair back and its relationship to the piano.
<a href="https://ibb.co/4sKypVx"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/B4cDBCR/Piano-In-The-Barn.png" alt="Piano-In-The-Barn" border="0"></a><br />
Even accounting for the change in perspective due to the camera angle, the back of the chair is clearly higher relative to the piano in the second scene.
If Christine's elbows do not seem overly bent in the first scene, it's because she is compensating greatly with hunched spine and curled wrists.
My guess is that after they shot the first scene, Christine mentioned the unnaturally low position of the seat, so they fixed it for the rest of the shoot, but for some reason still used some of the unnatural footage in the final cut.
(Note I have used Times New Roman small caps in the Exhibits to further alarm David.)

Fleetwood Mac spent lots of time in Miami and around Key Biscayne during the late 70s. But in Bad Journey she mentions Boise Idaho. I am curious if her or her nephew just thought the syllables fit with the song or she was ever there. I cant recall if the Mac ever played Idaho.
