Is anyone else on here a huge Game of Thrones fan?

I have become a diehard fan.

Love the Song of Ice and Fire books it is based on. I watched the first season but have avoided the seasons after lest it spoil the last two books in the series. At this point Martin has been working on The Winds of Winter for 7 years though. At his age he may not get to finish.

Well I’m addicted to the tv but I just picked up the books. Hope they are not ruined for me.

There are supposed to be some fairly significant differences in certain plot lines between the books and show. (Characters alive in one and not the other, multiple storylines compressed into one in the show, etc.) Some things that are the same you will know about already, but they are still worth reading for the level of detail and the world building that you just couldn't get in a TV show. Hope you enjoy them!

I hated the last Season of Game of Thrones.

I hated the last Season of Game of Thrones.

It was weak..all that time and money for a dud. They should have ended it when the book did.

I felt cheated, like I wasted my time.
