In Mick’s new book! Well, his truth that is. Why release a statement or do an interview? No money in that. Maybe he’ll throw in a chapter about Bob being excluded from the RRHOF. Patience people. PATIENCE!

I'm assuming you are being ironic when you say patience. Most of us have been beyond patient with Mick and the rest of the band. We die-hards deserve to know the truth now.

I don't think the "truth" is so elaborated that will require a new book from Mick.

Mick is like Stevie, in that matter. The truth is how they choose to tell it.

Correction: Mi¢k and $tevie will be selling, not telling, their version of "the truth".

I can hear her insufferable voice:

I told Lindsey, you do not yell at Karen. Yell at me all you want, but you do not yell at Karen. And I got in front of him. I'll defend my people.

.....blah blahblahblahblahblahbah... and I told MIck. I will not tour with him again. So it's him or me. But I'm not doing it. ....

I'm surprised no one has ever snapped at Karen before lol. No offense to her as a person but it must be soooo annoying having to direct just about anything to Stevie through her.
I remember the snarky remarks Christine made back in the day about Stevie's background singers/entourage. I'm sure they got used to it but it's just got to be annoying having them glued to Stevie constantly.

I am sure Karen is compensated quite well. She's fine. She seems pretty cool actually.

I meant for other people trying to get to Stevie. Annoying for them to always have to go through Karen.

in Destiny Rules doc, Lindsey definitely looked annoyed having Karen chip in like she's a member of the band while they were discussing their album plans. it was weird that she felt that's her place, tbh.

If they were smart, and remotely being diplomatic, which they are not, they would only let Christine talk about what went down. She won’t throw Lindsey under the bus in the press, but could also support the band’s decision in a way that doesn’t come off as petty (no pun intended). She’s the only one who could handle it with class and grace.

Otherwise, get the popcorn.

Great point, this would be the smart way to go.
If only they have this foresight....

If any of them try to throw him under the bus it’d be a lie, because it was a simple “him or me” situation. They will probably stick with their “he wanted to leave and do his thing” story.

I personally cannot wait for the truth to come out either...so that all of you Stevie haters have to eat crow. There is NO WAY that the rest of the band would stand behind firing Lindsey because of some stupid argument like this. He did something MAJOR. Take your goat comments and all of your silly, made up hate towards her and put it where the sun dont shine.

Oh, I have a pretty good idea where the sun does't shine, but I can't say it here because you won't like it at all. :D:D:D

I probably have said it a thousand times by now, but Stevie is a very powerful woman (not the abuse victim her fans like to portray), and what Stevie wants is what the band does. Except Lindsey. And that's why he was fired.

I imagine there's probably some legal stuff that'll prevent anyone from fully saying what happened.

Women can be both powerful and mistreated. Especially back in the day, it's not hard to imagine women in the position that Stevie and Chris as well were in having to deal with a lot.

Back in the day, not now.

"We felt like, together, we were a force of nature," she says. "And we made a pact, probably in our first rehearsal, that we would never accept being treated as second-class citizens in the music business. That when we walked into a room we would be so fantastic and so strong and so smart that none of the uber-rockstar group of men would look through us. And they never did."

Priceless!

Or will an audience member pull out ALL of Mick's many interviews over the past few years and read back to him all the times he hails LB's contributions to the band and talks about how "major" it is that the Rumours lineup is back in tact.

Or as per usual, if he ends the show with “The Mac is most definitely back”....let’s just say it’s probably good that the arenas now pour beers into cups.
