You can always buy already signed CD or LP w both of their sigs ! However if you wanna try to talk to him or get a pic that's another thing. Good luck either way and tell us all about it!
I'm not going, but I'm curious about the price of the signed LP/CDs. Does anyone know how much they are in CAD?
I bought one of each in Chicago. $35 and $45 but I don't remember which was the more expensive, probably the vinyl. Maybe try a conversion thingy online? Good luck!
Out of curiosity I looked at Ebay. One vinyl listed. It's not one of mine that's for sure! Here's the link http://m.ebay.com/itm/BRAND-NEW-Lindsey-Buckingham-Christine-McVie-Signed-BUCKINGHAM-MCVIE-Album-LP-/182646930095?hash=item2a869afaaf%3Ag%3AqdEAAOSwcj5ZWG3j&_trkparms=pageci%253A3154f98a-61ca-11e7-99a7-74dbd1809df0%257Cparentrq%253A14b0125715d0a7f23459e90efff207ae%257Ciid%253A1

The show was amazing!! Both Lindsey and Christine sounded terrific and they both killed it. They looked like they were having a great time.
If anyone has a video of (or the beginning of) band intros, Christine waved to me and I'd love so much to have it on video.

The show was truly fantastic. The YouTube videos do not do it any justice at all. I expected Christine to sound very pitchy, but she sounded great and much better than last tour in my opinion. The canned in vocals and instruments really did not bother me at all which also surprised me; they were pretty subtle and mixed in a lot lower than they were during the TV appearances.
The new songs were so exciting to hear. Lindsey was super high energy during them and the crowd was singing along to them. I was front front row off to the right directly in front of Neil. They were some young sexy women front row center with fake boobs that Lindsey seemed to be interacting with quite a bit. Not being a hater, but just observing. The show ended and I tried to get Lindsey to sign my vinyl. He looked me in the eyes and walked by, but that's ok. The stage was a ways from the front row with a barrier in the way so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt haha.

... The canned in vocals and instruments ...
Is the consensus really that they are using prerecorded samples? There are three backing vocalists in this band. When I saw them in Boston, I did not hear any vocals that those three guys couldn't have been providing, live.
As for the instruments, there are two extra guitarists. When Lindsey is not playing, but we hear a guitar, why are we all leaping to the conclusion that it's a piped in sample? Couldn't it just as well be Neale or Brett playing what we're hearing?
I'm not being naive here, just preferring to give them the benefit of the doubt until I see real evidence.

Mind if I ask what the secret is to meeting Christine? How'd that come about? Going to the Mount Pleasant show tonight so just curious. That'd be a dream for sure. But I'm just hoping the thunderstorms predicted to start at 9 tonight stay far away! So I think I'll be happy just for that. But sooo sweet that she waved to you! I had an experience like that meeting a non musical hero of mine and she waved during her speech. I was over the moon and still get all bubbly remembering it. Haha.

Well i'm not sure if there's a secret but I'll tell you how I did it! My good friend follows Christine's makeup artist on instagram, and she posted an Instagram story of the view from her hotel room. Living in Toronto all my life, I immediately recognized a strange dome like building and knew that the hotel right behind it as a 5 star hotel and knew that there weren't any I could've mistaken it for next door. So I figured it was a nice day and I got there at about 3, saw 2 black suburbans pull up and basically knew that was for them. And at about 4:30 ish she came out! She came over to the few of us waiting and I ended up directly in front of her and all I could think to say was "i'm coming to the show tonight in front row im so excited" and she said "oh I'll wave at you!" (And that she did!). Lindsey came out a few minutes after Chris but didn't come over to us and sign anything. I love her as much as I love stevie. She is my hero in so many ways and meeting her was everything to me. I couldn't be happier. And she's the sweetest person you could imagine.
PS: a friend of mine who knows the crew said that the MI show is running off schedule tonight due to the promoters giving them less than a day to get from Canada to a small town in MI. Some band members are flying in and some crossed the land border and it looked like a bit of a mess so if it's hard to meet them or get their attention I took that they were a tad bit overwhelmed!

The show was phenomenal, the vocals of both Lindsey and Christine were even better than I had expected, however the audience didn't seem very enthusiastic about it all, so many people were sitting down and someone in my row was playing a game on their phone most of the concert.

Ahh. That makes sense. I'd imagine given the location of tonight's show (not a ton around there. Casino is on the outskirts of a midsize college town) they'd almost definitely be staying at the casino itself but who knows given the info you just shared! I figured out last minute during a Detroit Mac show where they had stayed due to similar sleuthing but way to late to try to meet them. I am friends with someone in Arizona who is close to a friend of the band and obviously some strong Stevie connections (friend said before Stevie's mom passed they'd see her and sometimes Stevie around town or at the grocery store!). So maybe one day I'll havethings work out. Not for this show. But I'm legitimately thrilled for you! I always love stories of people meeting their heroes that turn out well since everyone always says don't meet your heroes and all.
So by off schedule would you happen to know if that means running late? Its such a hot and humid day here and the MI venue is completely uncovered (no pavilion or anything) and my health isn't that great/ don't tolerate that kind of weather all that well. So I'm already taking my time to get there but I might take a little more time then.
I REALLY hope it doesn't storm tonight. Forecast changed from earlier and is saying 60% chance of thunderstorms at 9, 10, 11. I'd feel so bad for the band and crew if they've had a crazy day and then end up having to reschedule or end early. I don't even know how they do it at their ages. I'm only late 20s and couldn't imagine that kind of life and the energy they manage to bring even if I was in better health! A casual fan friend went with me to a couple of shows on the last two tours (so before and then with Christine, who is looking phenomenal these days!) and during I'm So Afraid where Lindsey was doing his solo and running around the stage and all, my friend was like "He has way more energy than the two of us put together!" Turned that friend into a much bigger fan of the band too. Just doing my part in Mac evangelization! 😉

I definitely don't think the show is late!! What I gathered was that it was rushed getting to the venue with the whole border crossing thing but I think that they're all there now as per her makeup artist's Instagram. It was just a tad stressful getting there in a short amount of time (personally I'd always advice having a show in the states the day after Canada, the border especially on a bus can be unpredictable!).

I'd have screamed the lyrics on his/her face just to make him/her lose that stupid game and pay attention to what's really important.:D
This is a real thing with me. I'm there for the music. Socializing, food/drinks, cuddling with your date---all of that is secondary for me. I've tried to explain this to my coworkers. They think going to a concert by myself (which I've done many times) is nuts. My sig other understands how intense I am but even that took years before he really got it. When he goes with me he knows once the show starts I'm focused on the band and the music!!
I took my niece to see Stevie in Indy this year(2nd row). The woman next to me is reading about Stevie on Wikipedia. Her and her husband left halfway thru Stevie's show. Are you kidding me!? How many diehard fans would have been overwhelmed with gratitude (and debt) to be in the second row. In fairness the tickets were their's to squander but I was blown away. It's incomprehensible to me.

If I may disagree with you here - the audience was very vocally enthusiastic. People screamed and cheered and clapped extremely loudly and seemed to very much enjoy the show. What I do find weird was how many people were sitting in comparison to how loud the enthusiasm was.

I so agree with you! I understand that some people may need a break at a concert (I'm not one of those! :]) but a very different thing is to go there and do anything but pay attention and show respect, especially, especially if you are on the first rows.
Even if you didn't spend money on those first rows, don't be disrespectful. You have artists in front of you, who are showing you their art.
In my case, I live in a very disrespectful country on many issues, but when it comes to art, we love artists that come here and we show them with our gratitude on every opportunity we have, sometimes to the point of lunacy. Noone leave a theater show or a concert. It's not right.

They ended up starting a bit early tonight actually, it seems. LOVED the show! I rambled away in the Mount Pleasant thread already. Was my first show of the tour and I'm a bit bummed I missed Detroit because I'd totally go again. I was enjoying the album but after tonight I'm absolutely in love with it! Really was especially digging Christine tonight and all of her new songs were simply amazing! Would love to see some more songs from her in the future because she's rocking it! Someone else mentioned Lindsey seemed to battling off a big (or maybe it was partially the hassle with the border and all) and yeah, he was probably lower energy than I'd seen in the past but was still doing his kicks and guitar banging and all. Would have to see other shows from this tour but I thought his I'm So Afraid run around part was much briefer than in the past but loved getting to show my mom (who was with me for the first time) that.
Had my own big joy moment too! Managed to be given one Lindsey's guitar picks and I'm still all giggly happy about it. Haha! I actually lost the keychain I bought (pretty sure it's in the car somewhere!) because I was so busy trying to be sure I didn't lose the pick anywhere. 😂 I don't think I'll ever get to sit so close again so was probably my own chance to nab one so I am insanely grateful! Some of the other women up st the front just seemed like they wouldn't be satisfied even after getting picks and a copy of the set list, they just kept begging and throwing out some really weird excuses for why they were deserving. But eh, when I got handed my pick, I'm sure my eyes lit up and I kept thanking the crew member who gave it to me. Seriously my most prized piece of my Mac collection. Soooo silly happy!
You bought a BuckVie keychain?? I didn't see those in Chicago. Glad you got the signed stuff and enjoyed the show.

They are super cute. Still can't find where mine went but my mom gave me hers on the insistence "Well, you're way more into them I am!"
They kind of look of look like the album cover but Christine is on the other side of Lindsey and she's pointing and it's all black and white, about an inch and a half in size. Oh! Just realized they're holding hands too. Hard to tell because they're both in black clothes and it's a B/W image. It's cute. Chris is laughing and Lindsey's eyes are closed.

REVIEW – BUCKINGHAM NICKS AND THE WALLFLOWERS – TORONTO
Buckingham Nicks and The Wallflowers
July 5th, 2017
Budweiser Stage, Toronto
This past Wednesday was a great night of classic rock at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage. Oddly enough The Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan was performing in Toronto on the same night that his Dad, Bob Dylan, was performing at the Air Canada Centre. This is my 2nd time seeing the Wallflowers, the 1st at the short lived Deluna Fest in Pensacola Florida. I don’t remember much of that set because honestly they were selling those giant margarita filled plastic whale bones…but…I remember the Wallflowers were there. So…..this time I both remembered AND liked them. The Wallflowers hits came quite a few years back but they still perform them with conviction and to an eager crowd. Their songs have held up well and don’t sound dated. They’re really a great band for a summer night in the city (and honestly I like them WAY more than Bob Dylan).
Let me just state my bias. I think Lindsey Buckingham is one of the greatest guitarists, singers and songwriters of all time. He could play kazoo and tap dance and I’d love it. He didn’t do either of these things and stuck to his strengths of tremendous guitar playing and singer. Early in the set I glanced towards stage right and Christine McVie was there!!! (I really need to pay attention). Most of the crowd were there to here Fleetwood Mac hits and they delivered on those over and over. I was curious to see how their songs and harmonies held up without Stevie Nicks’ distinctive harmonies but Christine and Lindsey and their backing band sound great together.
The reason for their tour was the new Buckingham McVie which grew out of songs Christine shared with Lindsey after her 15 year sabbatical from Fleetwood Mac. It’s a great showcase of their songwriting and decades long friendship and the new material works perfectly in a live environment. I loved how the concert started, with just he 2 of them onstage taking turns playing songs before the whole band joined them for the remainder of the show. And rather than playing a few new songs and then a majority of hits through the encore, they really focused on new over old, even skipping a hits heavy encore for new material only.
It’s great seeing Christine performing (and enjoying it) again. And like I said, Lindsey can do no wrong in my eyes – and no one performs with more energy and conviction than he does. In a twist, my 12 year old daughter attended the show with me. She recently discovered Fleetwood Mac because of the the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack and has dug deep into their catalog (old and new) and was blown away by the show. I can’t imagine a lot of 12 year olds whose favourite album is Rumours.
Buckingham McVie are on tour through August – catch them while you can!
We give this a 6 out of 6ix.

The Wallflowers, led by frontman Jakob Dylan, Bob Dylan’s son, opened the show.
From the very first arpeggio to the very last keystroke, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie mesmerized the audience throughout the night with their musical chemistry. The duo took over The Budweiser Stage, performing songs from their new eponymous duet album – Lindsey Buckingham/ChristineMcVie – and many of the idolized Fleetwood Mac songs of the rock era.
The show started off with Buckingham performing an acoustic version of “Trouble” on a dimly lit Budweiser Stage. The enthusiastic crowd came to a complete hum while Buckingham and McVie’s voices echoed throughout the amphitheater. The duo went on to perform Fleetwood Mac’s “Wish You Were Here” and “Never Going Back Again” without a backing band, before taking a minute to tell the tale of McVie reuniting with Fleetwood Mac after a 16-year hiatus.
“One of the byproducts of that and one of the happiest surprises was that she started sending me, (across the pond) bits and pieces of song ideas and being the ‘Studio Animal’ that I am…I did my work on them and when she came over here finally for rehearsals for the Fleetwood Mac tour so we would work in the studio and look into these things, communicating back and forth…and here we are! That led us to where we are Now!”
Buckingham and McVie continued with songs from their duet EP, including the new single “In My World”. But it was the Fleetwood Mac classic hits “Little Lies”, “Tusk”, “You Make Loving Fun” and “Go Your Own Way” that had the crowd on their feet roaring with excitement…and yearning for more. The duo played a 3-song encore, including “Everywhere”, “Lay Down for Free” and finished with McVie’s piano-driven “Game of Pretend”.
Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie will be touring with Fleetwood Mac next year.
