For anyone going to the show who wants even more... Fleetmac Wood party in Brooklyn this Friday nite! These are the DJs who curate a 4 hour Mac dance party, nothing but remixes and edits of original FM and solo tracks. I went back in May and had a great time.

A couple quick notes:

STEVIE SOLD OUT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN!
(that's not just my perception- it was posted on the marquee of MSG)

Stevie has never looked better! (she's been working out and it shows- she kept mentioning having to check her Fitbit) She looked beautiful!

Chrissie Hynde, again, mentioned calling Stevie "Liz Taylor." It's clear Hynde really respects Stevie. She joked she would marry her! (and Hynde is pretty picky!)

Stevie's band was on fire, and it was clear that there was a lotta love in the room.

Lori Nicks was in the audience, and there was a pic of Lori flashed on the screen. (There was also a funny pic of Sharon pushing a piano across the stage).

The kids that performed Stevie's songs in the movie were there!

Landslide was in! MAJOR sing-along in NYC!

I'm trying to remember- other than with Fleetwood Mac, I don't think Stevie has performed in Manhattan since before 9/11, right? The show at Radio City was cancelled that year. A lot of New Yorkers have been waiting a long time for her return! Stevie made up for a lot of lost time there, and then some!

It's late. 3:21AM EST!

Stevie last performed in NYC in 2012, at Beacon Theatre. It was a great show, but totally pales in comparison to last night. Wow. Truly incredibly. She was in great voice, and was just so clearly happy on stage. The (sold out) house was rocking. She did her best to shorten her stories because of a "strict venue curfew," but largely failed at the effort.

Landslide appears to be in the set now (she kicked it off by saying, "Waddy, hit it"), and I have to say, it's a great way to end the set. And amazing to hear a sold out MSG singing along.

Her tribut to the School of Rock kids was so sweet - and they were SO freaking excited. And the images of Sharon pushing the piano down the road and of Lori during the band intros were hilarious.

My one quibble: her performance of Moonlight is a bit less nuanced than it was at the beginning of the tour - it has a few less flourishes at the beginning of the song, and isn't as soft at the edges as it used to be. But still gorgeous.

Gotta say, as much as I love FM, I wouldn't be angry if she extended her solo time well into 2017. :sorry:

Heading to Chicago today to see her tomorrow night - can't wait!

From what I could tell, even the upper, upper levels were packed. It was truly amazing. Took us almost a half-hour to get in, far longer than I've ever experienced.

I have been to five Fleetwood Mac concerts and five Stevie Nicks concerts since the late 80's, and last night was the best performance of them all. We all agreed you could feel the love in the room. Stevie is performing her legacy work, and I can't imagine how she won't rest after this tour, then join in and finish the last Fleetwood Mac album. She is in the best form I have ever seen her in. When she told the story of Buckingham Nicks and, specifically, 'Crying in the Night' (which they performed beautifully, 43 years after they first sang it together), I held up my 1973 print of the Buckingham Nicks album (yes, I brought it...), and Stevie pointed me out of the crowd (we were 6th row center), and said, "...and there's the record right there, looking at me..." ...and, yes, in that moment of connection, I was starstruck. Completely. Stevie had spoken throughout the show that they were on a time schedule so she could sing and also talk about the music (it was like Storytellers), but she was not rushed. She was strong and confident and grateful from beginning to end. They played 'Enchanted', which I wasn't expecting / we loved 'Gold and Braid' to open / the story of 'New Orleans' was magnificent, and now I see why it's in the set / added 'Landslide' to close, and, yes, we all sang with her / Marilyn Martin joined Sharon Celani on backup, both amazing / the Prince story and tribute was moving, the White-winged Dove / the Wild Heart and Bella Donna performed was sublime / and 'Moonlight' was reworked masterfully. The Pretenders were absolutely brilliant, and kicked ass for a tight 16 song set, and then had excellent chemistry with Stevie singing 'Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.' No 'Silent Night', STEVEHEDRICK, though that would have been awesome. All the players and the staff at Madison Square Garden were outstanding as always. If you don't have the newly released remasters of 'Bella Donna' and 'The Wild Heart' as well as the new Pretenders album, "Alone', get them immediately. We called on Stevie for magic last night, and she delivered; telling her stories and encouraging us with words of wisdom. Stevie thanked us throughout for listening to her songs and letting her sing to us to bring us in, however we interpret that. She told us, "...you just can't tragedy out, you have to have hope," and, "Don't take in all the negativity out there, just listen to the music!" Thank you, Stevie. We're listening.

MSG performance by both bands was incredible. The sound was amazing. So worth it! One of the best shows. Stevie seemed so much more engaged at this one, than last week for me. Stevie Nicks and The Pretenders Rise Above the Fray at Madison Square Garden
The legendary rock acts paired for a night of musical perserverance during Nicks' 24 Karat Gold Tour stop in New York.

http://www.billboard.com/files/styles/article_main_image/public/media/Stevie-Nicks-Chrissie-Hynde-2016-billboard-1548.jpg

"It's a pleasure to be back in New York with a message of love!" declared Chrissie Hynde, legendary frontwoman for Rock and Roll Hall of Famers The Pretenders, as her band indeed launched into the martial swing of their 1981 classic "Message of Love" on Thursday night (Dec. 1). After beginning their opening set with two riotous numbers off the group's fine new LP Alone, "Message" properly jolted the packed crowd at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden to life, and Chrissie & Co. took it from there, captivating with an expertly paced set that reminded why the group still has to be included in any discussion of the greatest active rock bands.

Despite leading with some new songs and making a couple early deep-cut detours (Hynde's 2014 solo single "Down the Wrong Way," Get Close paean to femininity "Hymn to Her"), the band mostly kept to the hits and the fan favorites afterwards -- even indulging the crowd with a singalong of 1994 power ballad "I'll Stand By You." But the now-quintet kept it tight throughout, and though Martin Chambers -- the only original member remaining besides Hynde -- may no longer quite live up to Chrissie's billing of him as "The World's Greatest Rock Drummer," the group still shredded their way through ragers new and old with typical Akron-via-U.K. muscle. (Appropriately, Hynde got some of the biggest cheers of the night when she rolled up the sleeves on her Elvis T-shirt.)

The Pretenders stayed mostly apolitical throughout their set, though perhaps inevitably for a show by a punk-bred band in the year 2016, there was a sense of desperation throughout, as songs like "My City Was Gone" took on extra significance, and even the group's more personal numbers felt as hefty as hymns. Hynde introduced their latest single "Holy Communion" as a song about "religious tolerance," but then shortened that to just "tolerance," declaring hopefully: "If you're answering to him" -- pointing skyward -- "You're probably going to be all right."

Of course, the real figure of worship for Hynde on stage was her touring partner, the iconic singer/songwriter and Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks, who Hynde gushed about throughout her set ("It's like being on tour with Elizabeth Taylor!"). The Church of Stevie was definitely in session from the opening songs of her headlining set, and her lead disciple even came back on stage to serve as her Tom Petty on a stellar duet of Nicks' breakout solo hit, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around." "I'm gonna marry her," declared an ecstatic Hynde after the performance. "So don't get any ideas."

Even with that early moment of fan wish-fulfillment, Nicks made it clear early in her set that crowd-pleasing wasn't going to be her primary goal for the evening. "It's not gonna be the same show that you're used to seeing," she warned of her gig to come, instead promising "magical gothic things from my gothic trunk of secrets and mysteries." What followed was a set full of little-heard rarities like "Starshine," a reject from 1981 solo debut Bella Donna that eventually ended up on 2014's 24 Karat Gold - Songs From the Vault and "Crying in the Night," a Buckingham-Nicks-era favorite that Nicks rarely played live before this tour.

The centerpiece of the performance was undoubtedly "Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream)," the dramatic power ballad whose recording reinvigorated Nicks' solo career in the early '10s, and which she now calls "my favorite song I've ever written." The singer/songwriter, cultivating a family atmosphere throughout the evening with her convivial storytelling -- even the introduction of her band, which she promised to keep brief, was deeply felt enough to take ten minutes -- explained the origins of the song as having been inspired by the doomed romance at the heart of the Twilight film franchise. "There's nothing like a tragic love affair," Nicks concluded.

For most of her set, Nicks kept Fleetwood Mac material to a minimum, only including 1982's "Gypsy" among her first 14 songs. It was enough delayed gratification that when her drummer launched into the arid, cowbell-led clomp of the Rumours closer "Gold Dust Woman," the building erupted in release. That rapture that only built through set closer "Edge of Seventeen" -- with a "When Doves Cry"-cribbed outro, paying tribute to Nicks' late friend Prince, who she'd previously talked about building early hit "Stand Back" with -- and first encore, the witchy-woman all-timer "Rhiannon."

The night closed with the Mac perennial "Landslide," and 40 years and hundreds of covers later, there's still nothing that properly prepares you for the sound of Nicks' simultaneously gravelly and feathery wisp intoning that first "Took my love, and I took it down..." In a time of national tumult and insecurity, the song can't help but take on a "Hallelujah"-like resonance, and its healing powers were on full display at MSG as the crowd belted every word along with their leader. "Rise above the fray," Nicks advised as her band exited. "Get in your car, and turn it up."

Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders
Madison Square Garden / New York City, NY

http://www.elmoremagazine.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/IMG_3147.jpg

From Platinum to Gold, indeed! Music icon Stevie Nicks brought her “24 Karat Gold” Tour to NYC’s Madison Square Garden for a sold out show with special guests, the Pretenders.

Nicks performed a 122—entirely sold out—world tour with Fleetwood Mac in 2014-2015, but this 27 city US tour picks up where she left off after the release of 24 Karat Gold – Songs From The Vault in 2014. Nicks’ eight solo album, it debuted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 Charts and featured newly recorded versions of demos from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s. This tour also coincides with the recent, early November release of expanded reissues of 1981’s Bella Donna and 1983’s The Wild Heart.

For the show, Nicks brought along Chrissie Hynde and the Pretenders, who released their 10th studio album, Alone, in October, and are joining her for all 27 dates.

Check out our photos of the rockin’ eve above, and head to Nicks’ website to see the rest of the tour dates, including stops in Seattle, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Ok. So I just watched all the videos from this show and I am completely astounded. She sounded INCREDIBLE. Her voice is so rich and she gets the notes with such accuracy. She hasn't sounded this good overall in YEARS, possibly since the 70's.

What an achievement. At 68 years old to be in one of the biggest bands ever and to be able to sell out MSG as a solo act and put on a show THAT good. It actually brings tears to my eyes.

She's clearly having the time of her life at the moment and I couldn't be happier as a Stevie Nicks fan.

Stevie Nicks, Pretenders Cast a Spell on Madison Square Garden
"This is a journey—welcome."

https://assets.rbl.ms/8887698/980x.jpg

There was an air of mystique looming over Madison Square Garden before either Stevie Nicks or the Pretenders took the stage, one that was as thick as the leather, lace, and wide-brimmed hats that could be spotted all over the crowd. Some even went the extra-mile in emulating the Gold Dust Woman, sporting feathers, beads, and blonde tresses. If Fleetwood Mac's previous performances at The Garden were any indication, this was going to be a good night.

The lights go down on the legendary venue, and frontwoman Chrissie Hynde comes out guns blazing, blasting straight into "Alone." The high-energy beginning got everyone dancing in the aisles, and Hynde would cut each song with little quips to the audience—"Anyone up for a movie? I am!"—that kept the audience engaged. Their excitement was palpable, and for good reason; Pretenders haven't toured together since 2012, and were announced as a part of the last leg of Nicks' tour just last September.

Hynde and drummer Martin Chambers—are the only founding members of Pretenders left in the band, but their starpower is rivaled by guitarist James Walbourne, who joined back in 2007, whose guitar ripped through hits "Back on the Chain Gang," playing off of Hynde's own guitar playing with all the finesse of a seasoned performer. The high-energy songs got the crowd pumped, but it was the slower songs that really stole the show—"I'll Stand By You," in particular, cut a jangly and nostalgic set in half with a quiet moment of reflection, and reflected well on the band's capacity for tenderness.

Of course, Hynde didn't mince words about how excited she was to be touring with Nicks: "It's like being on tour with Elizabeth Taylor!"

Near the end of the set, a Martin drum solo segued neatly into "Middle of the Road," where Walbourne and Hynde really showed their chemistry, playing at each other at one point in a tight, rhythmic near-battle. She ended the set with the song's roaring harmonica solo, and just like that they were gone.

About 25 minutes later, the lights went down once more, the crowd more fidgety than ever, tight balls of energy rocking knock-off Stevie moon necklaces and wide-brimmed black hats, even shawls. And then she came out, and The Garden absolutely lost it.

Stevie Nicks, in her iconic, witchy ensemble, spoke to the crowd more than any musician I've ever seen live.

"This is not the Stevie Nicks show you're used to seeing," she said near the beginning, promising a set that would span her entire catalogue, from her greatest hits with The Mac to recently-unearthed songs from her "Gothic trunk of mystical things."

Before diving in, she stretched out her arms. "This is a journey—welcome."

And what a journey it turned out to be; not three songs in, she was talking about her collaborations with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers before launching into her Bella Donna hit, "Stop Dragging My Heart Around." In a much-welcomed twist, Chissie Hynde returned to the stage, duking it out with Nicks onstage, at one point even clasping hands. The combined stage presence was, in a word, mesmerizing.

As promised, Nicks curated her night with both classics and songs for the die-hards—"Belle Fleur," from her latest effort, 24 Karat Gold: Songs From the Vault, weaving seamlessly into Gypsy, a huge hit from Fleetwood Mac's Mirage. Her stories and conversations with the crowd made even an arena like MSG feel intimate—she transitioned into "New Orleans," a song from In Your Dreams, by talking about Hurricane Katrina, her hope in the city she named the song after, and recording it on several cassette players—"Way better than digital."

In typical Nicks fashion, sometimes the dramatics and the sage advice were never lacking; she brought a shawl onstage that she later pointed out was made by her mother, and was the very same one she wore on the Bella Donna album cover.

She talked about her "frugal mother," and the perfect condition of an accessory that was "always with [her]." Caught in a small moment of nostalgia, she turned to the crowd before singing "Enchanted," with a twinkle in here eye and a one-liner at the ready: "If you're gonna invest in something in this crazy life: silk chiffon."

The set continued, with moments of high-energy ("Starshine") meshing into reflective stories (Twilight-inspired "Moonlight," which brought her back from the long hiatus after 2001's Trouble in Shangri-La.) The set design reflected the individual strengths of each song, with the latter showing a full moon on a blue screen, interspersed with snow and a white wolf walking to the beat of the grand piano.

Nicks also left room for friends, relaying a fun story about Prince helping her record Stand Back; "He was over in 15 minutes, recorded the song, was happy, and was gone...in a purple haze." Roaring applause.

She plowed on through the set, even including "Crying in the Night," a song from her Buckingham / Nicks era—"This song hasn't been done for 43 years, and now we're at Madison Square Garden. Dreams do come true." After the upbeat, guitar-heavy track, she disappeared, the lights dimming to their lowest.

Then, a cowbell, a drumbeat, and then the beginning of "Gold Dust Woman," the closing track of Rumours that would go on to become her veritable signature song. The woman herself rose out of the shadows, her shoulders emblazoned with the gold shawl she wears to perform the track, glittering as she did her "Crackhead Dance" during the breakdown.

After taking what was seemingly her final bow, Nicks' musical director and the night's guitar player, Waddy Watchel, gets on center stage and starts ripping into the guitar. Nicks comes back out, and "Edge of Seventeen" blares through The Garden.

Starting the encore with her iconic hit, she segued into "Rhiannon," and, in a touching moment, called out the child stars of Broadway's School of Rock, which she was involved in the production of. "These kids are the future of rock n' roll—"if I close my eyes, it's Fleetwood Mac."

She closed with "Landslide," a song that she usually performs with Lindsay Buckingham by her side, the line "I'm getting older, too" never losing its resonance the more she performs it live. Standing on stage, an ethereal queen reigning over a large venue, she sang over Watchel's guitar with raw honesty, and the crowd, under her thrall, swayed both iPhones and lighters in the air.

"I can turn all your music on. I can make you feel alive! I am gone but I'm never gone from you!" Ms. Wild Heart is back! What an amazing night! I got to go to this show with my good friend Regina! I had to hear Wild Heart and Bella Donna again! (Will Sister Honey show up? I would love to meet Mabel Normand in person!) The possibilities are endless! This is the tour you die-hard Stevie fans have been dreaming about! If you get a chance, GO!

SEANJT, I was there and I saw it happen! YES, Stevie Nicks absolutely saw you and your album! What an amazing moment that was! I totally get it. It feels like some crazy kind of energy transfer and I'm thrilled for you! I was trying to explain this to a friend--you see these people on the stage, when you think of them "in an album" and then there they are! And you think, somehow, you are invisible to them, but then you have that moment, that connection. I totally get it!

BLUE LIGHT, yep, I would be happy if Stevie did continue this tour longer. There's a lot of people in the middle of the country that are looking for a Nicks Fix. And there's even MORE people outside of USA that have been wanting to see Stevie solo for a long time! (quite of number of them are here!) I was on the floor too but a few peeps were steadfast in their little metal folding chairs when Chrissie Hynde first came out. They weren't old folks. You would think it has to be discouraging to be a world class rocker and see people seated, but it didn't stop The Pretenders one iota! The music and the awesomeness of the performance soon kicked them outta their chairs!

Nonetheless, the little metal chair people sat down during Stevie's Moonlight. I get it. They were tired, and Moonlight is a calmer song. Chrissie and Stevie wore them out! Maybe some out there didn't know the song. Didn't matter. Stevie sold Moonlight! She poured her SOUL into it. By the end, I didn't see anyone seated! MSG was up and cheering! What an amazing performance! I don't know how Stevie does it, but it was more powerful then even the album! And how beautiful was that white coat with all those wolves roaming around, with the snow swirling? This show was all about changing it up!

But there was some familiar friends to be found in Madison Square Garden. Stevie brought along the Gold Dust Woman. As soon as that distinct cowbell cadence began, even before Stevie walked to the microphone, everyone was up! I get the Liz Taylor reference–Stevie is dripping with black diamond elegance. But that Gold Dust Woman comes alive as Stevie transforms herself into that deeply troubled and afflicted soul. It's powerful stuff! I love that Gold Dust Woman, but I'm always happy to see Stevie come back at the end!

I don't think it would be Stevie SOLO without Edge of Seventeen. It constantly changes and grows, but this time it was a loving tribute to Prince. But it's still our song. I know what it sounds like. Somewhere deep in the middle of the night. It's our Stevie's voice! And it's Waddy that makes that bird fly!

And speaking of birds, Rhiannon also flew in for an encore. Stevie told us in Philadelphia, I believe, that Rhiannon has never missed a tour, either in Fleetwood Mac or solo. We all have connections and associations to all of these songs, even the new ones! I love Rhiannon. I'm so glad she made it! After all, she is like a cat in the dark, and then she is the darkness! Once in a million years a lady like Stevie comes along. I am glad we have her and her amazing music!

And the musicians who filled Madison Square Garden with all the music we love were perfect, every note! Ricky Peterson, Darrell Smith, Scott Crago, Carlos Rios, Al Ortiz (who knew the man could sing, too!), and the man in black, the amazing Waddy Wachtel! Stevie says Waddy makes it safe for her to do all of this, particularly this tour, and he gives her the courage. Waddy we all love you! And I love Stevie's introductions of everyone! (I bet they must all be squirming, wondering what Stevie might tell us about them!) Sharon Celani, who I will love forever for her part on Edge of Seventeen, and Marilyn Martin (who first brought Sorcerer to the masses) both sang their hearts out.

Stevie promised us a totally different show! She delivered! And LANDSLIDE? The most perfect song I have ever heard in Madison Square Garden or maybe at any venue! Thank you NEW YORK!!! You were the choir! Thank you Stevie– WE LOVE YOU!!!

Stevie Nicks and The Pretenders at the Garden

Stevie Nicks/The Pretenders, TD Garden, Boston, MA- 11/16It was a double bill to warm a classic rocker’s heart: Stevie Nicks exploring both her own and Fleetwood Mac’s songbook, paired with fellow travelers Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders. As part of Nicks’ 24 Karat Gold Tour, the two veteran artists paid a visit to Boston’s TD Garden midway through a 27-city sweep of North America. The Pretenders opened the show with an energetic hour-long set that featured a few songs off the band’s recently released 10th album, Alone, including the title track, “Gotta Wait” and “Holy Commotion” but otherwise stuck to the tried and true. Hynde and veteran drummer Martin Chambers are the only members left from the original Pretenders, but guitarist James Walbourne, bassist Nick Wilkinson and pedal steel player Eric Heywood have been backing Hynde for a while now, and are more than up to the task of carrying on the band’s storied legacy.Hynde, clad in jeans, black t-shirt and pink jacket, and sporting a shaggy blonde mane, sounded strikingly good, and the band did her justice on hits ranging from “Message of Love” and “Hymn to Her” to “Stop Your Sobbing” and “Mystery Achievement.” Highlights included a snarling version of “My City Was Gone,” featuring stinging solos from both Hynde and Walbourne, carried along by Chambers’ irrepressible pounding, and set-closer “Brass in Pocket.”Nicks took the stage about 30 minutes later, and played for a solid two hours. Although she has been touring with Fleetwood Mac fairly regularly in recent years, she seemed energized to be on her own with the chance to feature songs she doesn’t get to play as much. “I’m going to do some things I haven’t had a chance to do ever before,” she said early in the evening. She played the songs you’d probably expect—solo hits like “Stand Back,” “Edge of Seventeen” and “Leather and Lace,” and Fleetwood Mac classics “Dreams,” “Gold Dust Woman” and “Rhiannon”—but much of the night was spent delving deeper into her extensive catalog, and providing some back story to many of the songs. Like Chrissie Hynde, Nicks remains remarkably vital as a performer. She may not swirl and twirl on stage as much as she did in her heyday with Fleetwood Mac, but her voice, as clear and distinctive as ever, never wavered over the course of a 19-song set.Backed by a full complement of five musicians, including longtime collaborator Waddy Wachtel on guitar, and her regular backup singers Sharon Celani and Lori Perry, Nicks strolled as far back as the early ’70s for a Buckingham-Nicks era song, “Crying in the Night,” to a more recent track, “New Orleans,” written during Hurricane Katrina. Early solo tracks “Wild Heart,” “Bella Donna” and “Enchanted” flowed nicely into one another, but the centerpiece of her set was an extended version of “Moonlight (Vampire’s Dream),” a majestic ballad she started writing in the mid-70s but completed and released just five years ago. The song—inspired by the relationship between Bella and Edward in the 2009 film Twilight: New Moon, as well as her own long, never-quite-broken connection to Lindsey Buckingham—is, she said, “my favorite story I’ve written in the last 25 years.” The 24-Karat Gold Tour continues for another month or so, ending with a series of West Coast dates in mid-December.

wow this directly contradicts what she has said in the past about putting Rhiannon away after a tour and not doing her on the next tour so she's doesn't get over done and then it's nice to bring her back out a tour or two later.

I'm really surprised that Stevie keeps saying this because she didn't do Rhiannon on The Other Side of the Mirror tour. I saw 3-4 shows at different points of the tour and she didn't play it at any of them. That's the only time I know of where she didn't include it in the set.

This is really late but I've been insanely busy since this show.

Like many have already said this was potentially the greatest stevie show I've ever been to. 2012 still may be still be better from start to finish consistency wise. Although this show was the most animated and engaging I've ever see Stevie be. And performance there were probably the best highs of any stevie show.

Not to be a dead horse but Moonlight was the song of the night. But weirdly I've been watching a lot of the tour videos now that I've already been to my show and moonlight Is the one song I think was done significantly better early in the tour. Especially the first half of the song. Maybe the best stevie nicks live performance of the 21st century.

I was one of the people saying maybe she shouldn't do Gold Dust Woman this tour, or at the very least It should be a condensed version. But next to moonlight this was the highlight of the show, don't care how many times I've seen it, I love the slight ways the song evolved this tour. She did closer to the foo fighters more rocking arrangement for her dance. And I much preferred her ending with repeating the chorus and an extra cool wail then the way the song has been ending the last few tours (a few too many baby baby's and a weird super low oooooh) it blows my mind how this song changes little by little every tour but Rhiannon doesn't stray one bit year to year.

The Wild Heart/Bella Donna medley was the third best highlight. But really I should phrase that as "Bella Donna" was the third best highlight, and it had a really cool wild heart intro. That's the way it came across to me. Bella Donna seemed like nothing was missing. I know we can all quickly point to certain lines that weren't done (woman may be so awestruck etc.) but to me it still felt like a really cool full yet condensed rocking version of Bella Donna. It seemed like a full song. I would probably say is new live version is my favorite version of Bella Donna (better then studio demos or 1981 live version) kind of like how doing a 2 minute not that funny really works, so does this short and to the point Bella Donna. I really like the guitar and drum coming to the forefront.
Now the parts of The Wild Heart she sang were fantastic and I absolutely will take what we got over nothing but it's hard to say how the wild heart was when she doesn't sing what I consider the "heart" of the song. While time wise each song got equal time again Bella Donna was my favorite version of the song and wild heart just seemed like the very nice intro to Bella Donna. And I should mention Wild Heart is my favorite title song where Bella Donna has always been dead last.

New Orleans was the 1 other "wow" moment . Although even songs that are tired and dine to death had a little extra umph including the song I vowed I would not forgive stevie for including in this tour, Enchanted. It was actually really great. I wasn't a fan of if you were my love being one of the only three songs from 24KG it was incredible live. I loved the fact that she included crying in the night for it being such a shock, but never really cared for the actual song. This was far better the the BN version.
