Sounds like speculation to me. I think the DJ hopes to see them in Boston next year and is making a hopeful prediction rather than actually having information that we don't.

Well, if you hadn't been had by the DJ, then you will by a cash grab tour!:distress:

Well, if you hadn't been had by the DJ, then you will by a cash grab tour!:distress:

I'm sure there will be another tour, Mick has publicly said as much. I have not given up hope that when the tour is announced, a forthcoming album will be announced simultaneously. Look at David Bowie, dropping The Next Day without any prior publicity. Fleetwood Mac could easily do the same...well actually no they couldn't, now that I say that.

Fleetwood Mac have been publicising a new album, or at the very least new songs, for more than two years now (basically since Christine's return, but even before that Lindsey talked about 8 new songs he recorded with Mick and John). So if they do release a new album, it shouldn't be a surprise like Bowie's was, because it's long overdue.

The logical part of me agrees that the mooted 2017 tour will be a greatest hits cash grab like the 2009, 2013 and 2014-2015 tours. But it's hard not to daydream about the moment when we first hear Carnival Begin, Red Sun, Too Far Gone or Lay Down for Free, not to mention My Mother's Rings!

I think I became a fan too late ...or was born too late ...very frustrating time to be a Fleetwood Mac fan now... would have been better to live through their productive period in the seventies.
