View Full Version : Acoustic Set

A post on another thread reminded me of a wish I had some years back. I wished that the band would do a proper, low-key acoustic set, like the Storytellers or MTV Unplugged ones, with a small audience (smaller than The Dance).
Here's what my choices would be for the setlist:-
Stevie:
Crystal
Rhiannon
I Don't Want to Know
Silver Springs
Sara
Gypsy
Lindsey:
Never Going Back Again
Second Hand News
Save Me A Place
What Makes You Think You're The One
Tango In The Night
Bleed to Love Her
Christine:
Why
Say You Love Me
Over My Head
Over & Over
Everywhere
Songbird
It's virtually impossible to envisage this happening now, of course, but I can still picture it in my head.

that would require a bit of effort (strenuous physical or mental exertion. ) for them

It's a nice thought.

Question- is there an Ignore feature available? And if so, how can I use it?
Comment- I Don't Want to Know and Brown Eyes would be interesting to hear acoustic; Crystal would be, too, but I'd want Lindsey to sing it.

If you're wanting to ignore/and or block a member, you will have to go to their profile and click 'add (blank) to your ignore list,' which is located in the right side of the page. Hope this helps.

Too much acoustic is not a great thing. 3 songs is fine. I am totally over Landslide, Big Love and NGBA.
I HATE it when regular songs are made acoustic (for the most part). There is always an exception. For example, Big Love was amazing in 1997. But I am tired of it.
Here are some options I would like:
Save Me a Place
Never Make Me Cry
Honey Hi
Never Forget tonight

An MTV unplugged session (and resulting unplugged album) would be brilliant as part of the 50 year celebration. Sadly I'm starting to significantly downgrade my expectations of what the 50 year anniversary will consist of. I guess the best we could realistically hope for would be an acoustic version of Rumours as another means of milking the cash cow. Unfortunatly I can't even see that happening.
