May 18, 1974 at the Capitol Theatre in Passiac, NJ.... I saw the Eagles during their 'On The Border' tour. I don't really remember it all that well now. I was hanging out with my good friend, Mary Jane.... if you catch my drift. It was the 70s, after all! :p

The first 'proper' concert would have been Michael Jackson in the summer of 1992 at Wembley.
Unfortunately I recall it being quite a rubbish experience.

Not FM but Olivia Newton John in the 1970's .I think Dolly Parton was next.Mostly country acts up to the mid 1980's when I broke down to see Stevie and FM for the first time which was the first pop rock concerts I went to. I miss those older country artists since they were true country artists and bands with banjos, fiddles and steel guitars and not rock and roll guitars and auto-tuned like todays so called country music rubbish artists

No. I was never a big fan. I only went as my (at that time) girlfriend's family all went and they bought a ticket for me. We were sat as far from the stage as you could get. I think that was before any allegations had been made but I still came away with the impression he was an egotistical d!ck head. I have to say I do like a lot of his music though.

The bad memories from concerts including FM and Stevie shows is dealing with the drunks.I'll be happy with drunk free concerts.Tired of coming home smelling like a drunk hobo after getting showered with booze and beer from the drunks.I could care less if the fans smoke pot there. It does not bother me as long they are not close by and behave there.

Rick Springfield, Nassau Coliseum, Dec. 21, 1981. My mom waited in line for four hours to get those tickets. And she didn't get off the line, even when a bee kept buzzing her.
In fact, Rick was my first three concerts, also 1983 and 1985. Then my best friend and I got cars...then that changed.

He is. You have to know that now he's a Born Again Christian. This fact shocked me to no end.

I found that out that a while back. It certainly shocked me as well. He's never been a person that I thought would end up being a born-again Christan. Go figure.

why , stage persona and real life personas are usually polar opposites

And I agree on that point, but for some reason I've always thought he was left-wing. And then I discovered he was not AND that he's a Born Again Christian. Too many strange informations all at once.

This thread jogged a memory I'd almost forgotten ... It was 1991, I was 16 and I travelled with friends to London to watch a band called the Young Disciples at Brixton academy. This was my first experience of London nightlife (I moved there 2 years later), very exciting.... :D

I have not been to many concerts, because I live in the country and hate traveling.

This is going to sound crazy. My first concert was a Marlene Dietrich impersonator - Jeanne Little. Yes that's right darlings! And she was actually quite good. Her speaking voice was just sandpaper. But she did a good Dietrich - was surprised she could sing quite well.

And then my mother and I went to see Foster and Allen, the Irish folk duo. I think I was perhaps the youngest person there but all in all, it was a fun evening. I enjoyed it too.

Then I went to see Fleetwood Mac. Then I think Robbie Williams. Yes I know - he can be very obnoxious, but it was a great night with great atmosphere. It was strange, it was as if I had a lingering 'buzz' from that concert for a few months after. He had the huge crowd eating out of his hand.

And then I saw FM again last year. I actually don't know if I'll be going to more in the future. I'm a bit interested in Pink. If Stevie does another solo tour, I might be swayed.

I still feel lucky to have seen him.
No one has ever come close to that
concert's excitement. It was quite
unique.

What's a bit odd is that tonight is
also the anniversary of the last time
I saw Elvis. It too was on June 2,
but in 1977. Just 2 1/2 months until
he died.

I was one sad little boy.

Lana Del Rey, Manchester Apollo. I wanna say 2013. None of my friends like the music I do, so chances to go to concerts are limited :(

Lana was AMAZING though.

One of my friends from High School had a HUGE crush on him. I'm pretty sure he's the reason why she watched the ABC soap opera, "General Hospital", back in the early 1980s. I think he protrayed the character, "Dr. Noah Drake".

I began watching it around the time Luke raped Laura at the Disco. I was addicted to soap operas, especially Dallas, but I can do without the "Dream Season" that was sooooo stupid!

OK The last current artist and probably the only one was going to see Kieth Urban about 2008 .He was OK but loud. Also I think they had their fog machine screwed up since the whole arena was full of fog.
