I cant comment on this HOT TOPIC unless Stevie,Lindsey,Mick,John and Christine are running for office in 2016.

I'm no moderator but most forums prohibited politics and religion since they can get very nasty. I dont want to see us FM fans get verbally beatin' up on our liking's.

The Ledge has stayed pretty civil when it comes to hot button topics like politics and religion. Those two topics are welcome- just keep it respectful and localized to the Chit Chat section, and everything should be fine.

Probably shouldn't be voting as a non-American.

I quite liked Trump when I used to watch celebrity apprentice.
However, a couple of years ago I saw a documentary about his golf resort in Scotland. The way he treated some of the locals in order to push through his development was disgusting. He's a big bully and and doesn't give a sh!t for the 'little man'. He's made Alex Salmond (former First Minister for Scotland) look like a total idiot for helping to push through his initial planning applications in the first place. If only Salmond could turn back the clock.

An abridged version of the documentary;
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADecI4xw-yg

Much credit to the UK and Scottish governments for repeatly standing up to Trump and his repeated objections to the offshore wind farm.

I'm not fond of Mrs C but I'll give the Clinton's credit for getting FM together to perform for them.

If she was just being a first lady like Mrs Obama and other first ladies of this country instead of getting involve in things .She would be fine for president or VP.

I love to see a woman pres some day.As mentioned in my earlier post .Stevie Nicks.LOL .

I dont know much about Mrs Warren but Judge Judy would clean things up.To bad Carly Fiorina did not continue .She said some good things on the debates and shes an outsiders like Mr Trump and Dr Ben Carson.

I just read that Dr Carson might be bailing out.Too bad. He's a nice calm guy in the bunch.

I think Hillary's biggest problem is that she doesn't come off as a warm person, so people don't feel like they can trust her. They either see her as cold or fake. She's not a great speaker like Bill Clinton or Barack Obama and that hinders people's perceptions of her.

I don't think it's right to vote for her solely because she's a woman, however I do believe that as a women she has had a harder time getting here than any other candidate. She's struggled since her time as First Lady to develop an image that's both feminine and ambitious, without coming off as a Lady Macbeth type and overstepping... What she tried to do as First Lady contrasts with beloved past/present First Ladies such as Laura Bush or Michelle Obama, who present a more traditional and nurturing feminine image.

Strangely, people seemed to love her as Secretary of State, yet in her run for President, democrats see her as less "progressive" than Bernie Sanders and republicans just talk about how untrustworthy she is. But IMHO she has the most political and diplomatic experience of any candidate, and a person can still be progressive without running on a platform based solely on class warfare. Just my two cents.

Hahaha.LOL .I'm just thinking when a band or artists say .We be back next year" and they dont come back.

More likely any job description. The last few jobs I was at.They hire anybody off the street without background checks. Some were drunks,Some were felons .Some lied on their applications. With these uncheck people .I was alittle worried it could turn into a situation like these mass shooting at the workplace.

Will Hillary is almost half way there at 1052 delegates.Bernie is holding on at 427.The Dems need 2,383 to get nominated.

The Repubs need 1237 to get nominated for president.
The Donald is at 319 and Ted Cruz is cruising behind him at 226 delegates.

Some people like power tripping and the fringe benefits after their term is over.

Looks like another nail in the "Hildabeast" coffin as the DOJ has granted immunity to ex-State Department and Clinton campaign staffer Bryan Pagliano, the IT specialist who set up and managed Hillary Clinton’s private email server at the State Department.
I bet he's singing like a bird.

A quote from the Huffington Post... "Obama's Justice Department Just Gave Bryan Pagliano Immunity and Bernie Sanders the Presidency"

Not looking like a good day for her.

You seem to be keen on posting videos to express your opinions, Joe.

So here's a video you can watch to educate yourself on the difference between socialism and "democratic socialism". Mr. Bernard Sanders is the only person in this presidential race who has NEVER waffled in his beliefs or personal stances. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, and genuinely wants what's best for EVERYONE in our country and not just the 1%.

Everyone of all races, religions, genders, sexual orientations, social classes, etc. He speaks for EVERYONE. He is a voice for EVERYONE! This man is the real deal!!!

I will say that watching the Republican party turn on each other is most unusual. After all, anything other than a fully united front from them just a year ago would have been viewed as a sign of weakness & heresy.

Regarding Hillary being a shoe-in, I was of that train of thought a year ago, but not now. I've been reading Op-Eds on how Trump is wooing not just Independents to his side, but even Democrats. I think he's far more of a force than anyone is giving him credit for. It's also worth noting that the overwhelming majority of two-term presidents are replaced by someone of their opposing political party.

I also have to say, a Hillary presidency fills me with dread. The Clintons are just so scandal-ridden and secretive. Because of that, I think the Republicans would put an even bigger target on Hillary's back than they have with Obama- can the country really take 4-8 more years of that?

After watching last nights debates.I think the public should call in the WWE to have all go into the rink and wrestle it out.

Start with all and work their way down and the last one will be the winner.

I enjoy watching the debates. They all have good and bad points. They want the voters to believe what they say and vote for them at the primaries and the general election.

a Huge Problem , the young and the " poorly educated" do not understand the electoral process and see the whole thing as a popularity contest / game and are completely unaware of the consequences to the choice that is being made for them by media / talk radio / political comedy shows ,providing they are registered voters .
a small percent think voting in a poll on line is the same as casting a vote .

this country is a mess and it doesn't look look there will be any help for it anytime soon

If Hillary gets the nomination over Bernie the best thing that could happen for the party is that she would be indicted and Joe Biden steps in at the convention. He could do much better than she at keeping the mid-Atlantic and rust belt states in the Democratic column against Trump if he is the nominee and that would mean the election.

I agree with Olive with the electoral college votes is what makes it happen .They need the magic number of 270 to be elected for president.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_College_%28United_States%29

http://www.270towin.com/

I've been chatting with some friends the last few days and they been saying that Mr Trump might have a problem with the electoral college voters since he is an outsider. So with that in mind Hillary more likely get in since she is already a politician .

If Dr Carson and Carly Fiorina were the front runners .They would be having to same issues that Mr Trump if he wins the nomination since they are outsiders.

I would like to see the electoral college to get eliminated .

Bernie has to do some magic since his delegate numbers are low

From Google .

Clinton 1058

Sanders 431

I'm still surprised that Mr Biden did not run.I rather see him running then Hillary.

Too bad the dems had a low candidate turnout .The dems only had only a handful of candidates and the rep had about a dozen and a half.

A footnote. Its getting harder to pick anybody now since the news media twist up stories and leave out the important things the candidates say and sometimes make up the stories about the candidates .I do agree with Mr Trump and other candidates getting pissed off at them for the BS reporting they do .All they are looking for is selling papers,Magazines ,TV show ratings. I know they are in the biz to make money but they should clean it up and tell the truth.

I've spent a lot of time in the U.S. off and on over the years and have relatives and loved ones there still. I'm genuinely quite worried about y'all every election 'cycle' it seems. :D

I'm not 'a left' or 'a right' though, I thought Bill Clinton was terrible in many ways (the economic meltdown really began under him just hit the fan after) and the same for Bush Jnr. and now Mitt Romney comes back like yet another bad penny from the past (nobody can top Cheney for inducing the most shudders on crawling back into a spotlight though). Well, the news media everywhere has gone down in quality I think, I've lived long enough now I think I can say that. Anyway... Bernie would be pretty much unable to do jack squat, he'd be like Jimmy carter, big ideas and unable to deliver more than haranguing speeches about things not happening out there in the real world just because he's sure he's right. Ted Cruz and Darn Old Trump wouldn't be able to do much either; neither are known for working well with anyone politically from what I can tell. Kasich gets less coverage than even Carson got while Frump got 53 minutes commercial free on CNN, his entire post Romney speech! I guess those most able to pay for stuff get the biggest freebies?

I was glad to see some Dubya ass kicked however, there still seems to be a lot of denial of a pres seen outside the U.S. as one of the all time worst. One of the proudest moments for me as a Canadian was how we stood up to being roped into the supposedly pre-emptive war in Iraq and concentrating on Afghanistan (and paid a high price there). Another has been our accepting tens of thousands of refugees from the middle east disaster while one of the biggest droppers of bombs looks to want to shut out everyone fleeing it! I say this as a friend... that is totally lame of the U.S. (who did take in many from Vietnam etc. from that depressing chapter of history) :sorry:

Best wishes from Canada!

I do like Mr Cruz but The Donald is still ahead.Lets see at the conventions what will happen to him.

More likely they .The system , "Not the voters" dont want Mr Trump nominated since he is an outsider.Good reason why they have Romney and others throwing dirt at him in the past couple of weeks. If Mr Cruz wins the nom and The Donald got the boot because he is an outsider .I think Mrs "C" could win the general election.

Michael Bloomberg Will Not Enter Presidential Race

By MAGGIE HABERMAN and ALEXANDER BURNSMARCH 7, 2016

Michael R. Bloomberg, who for months quietly laid the groundwork to run for president as an independent, will not enter the 2016 campaign, he said Monday, citing his fear that a three-way race could lead to the election of a candidate he thinks would endanger the country: Donald J. Trump.

In a forceful condemnation of his fellow New Yorker, Mr. Bloomberg said Mr. Trump has run “the most divisive and demagogic presidential campaign I can remember, preying on people’s prejudices and fears.” He said he was alarmed by Mr. Trump’s threats to bar Muslim immigrants from entering the country and to initiate trade wars against China and Japan, and he was disturbed by Mr. Trump’s “feigning ignorance of white supremacists,” alluding to Mr. Trump’s initial refusal to disavow an endorsement from David Duke.

Bloomberg, Sensing an Opening, Revisits a Potential White House RunJAN. 23, 2016

“These moves would divide us at home and compromise our moral leadership around the world,” Mr. Bloomberg said in a column published Monday afternoon on Bloomberg View, his opinion site. “The end result would be to embolden our enemies, threaten the security of our allies, and put our own men and women in uniform at greater risk.”

Maps Show Where Bloomberg Aides Thought He Would Be Competitive

The maps that Michael R. Bloomberg's aides used internally to guide their thinking about how he would affect the presidential race.
OPEN Document

The decision by Mr. Bloomberg, the former New York mayor who served three terms, ends months of intensive preparation for a candidacy. Convinced that a restive electorate was crying out for nonpartisan, technocratic government, he instructed his closest aides to set up the machinery for a long-shot billion-dollar campaign that would have subjected his image to a scorching political test.

They covertly assembled network of several dozen strategists and staff members, conducted polling in 22 states, drafted a website, produced television ads and set up campaign offices in two states — Texas and North Carolina — where the process of gathering petitions to put Mr. Bloomberg’s name on the ballot would have begun in days.

Mr. Bloomberg held extensive talks with Michael G. Mullen, the retired admiral and former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, about forming an independent ticket. Lawyers for Mr. Bloomberg had completed the process of vetting Mr. Mullen, and all that remained was for Mr. Bloomberg to ask formally that Mr. Mullen serve as his running mate.

Plainly torn between his aspiration to serve as president and a mountain of data showing that the path for an independent campaign aimed at the political center was slim and narrowing, Mr. Bloomberg, 74, ultimately abandoned what would probably have been his last chance to run for the White House.

Had both Mr. Trump and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont appeared headed toward victory in the Republican and Democratic presidential primaries, Mr. Bloomberg was determined to run, according to his advisers, several of whom insisted on anonymity to speak candidly about confidential discussions.

But Mr. Bloomberg balked at the prospect of a race against Mr. Trump and Hillary Clinton, who has established a dominant lead over Mr. Sanders on the Democratic side. In his column, Mr. Bloomberg said he could not in good conscience enter a race that could lead to a deadlock in the Electoral College — and to the election of Mr. Trump, or perhaps Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.

Mr. Bloomberg’s decision brings a new measure of clarity to a presidential race that has come sharply into focus in recent weeks, and reflects both Mrs. Clinton’s tightening grip on the Democratic contest and the growing alarm among mainstream political and business leaders about Mr. Trump’s populist insurgency.

Mr. Trump is widely seen as a weak general election candidate, and surveys conducted for Mr. Bloomberg bolstered that perception. Mr. Bloomberg’s veteran pollster, Douglas E. Schoen, gauged his prospects in polls in February and March, testing Mr. Bloomberg as a candidate nationally and in 22 crucial states.
Graphic: 2016 Primary Results and Calendar

At the outset, about two-fifths of the country had no familiarity with Mr. Bloomberg, who may be best known nationally for his support of expanded gun control legislation. But Mr. Schoen’s February polling found that after voters heard mostly favorable descriptions of Mr. Bloomberg, Mr. Trump and Mr. Sanders, Mr. Bloomberg collected 35 percent of the vote and a solid lead in the Electoral College.

In a race against Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton, however, Mr. Bloomberg faced far tougher odds.

The most favorable result for Mr. Bloomberg would probably have been a stalemate in the Electoral College, with no candidate capable of taking the 270 votes required.

Under those conditions, the House of Representatives, where Republicans hold a majority, would choose the president.

A second poll, taken by Mr. Schoen from Feb. 28 to March 1, found that Mr. Trump was bleeding support with general election voters after a flailing debate performance and a disastrous interview in which he failed to disavow Mr. Duke’s support.

Still, the poll found Mr. Bloomberg could overtake Mr. Trump and fall short of eclipsing Mrs. Clinton.

Mr. Bloomberg acknowledged that cold math in his column. “I believe I could win a number of diverse states,” he wrote, “but not enough to win the 270 Electoral College votes necessary to win the presidency.”

By opting not to run, Mr. Bloomberg is deactivating a political apparatus far more extensive than the one he assembled the last time he seriously weighed a run for president, in 2008. In private conversations, Mr. Bloomberg appeared far more enthusiastic about running now, and he laid out his ambitions in conversations with leaders including Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. and Prime Minister David Cameron of Britain.

Aides planned an elaborate messaging and branding campaign to introduce him to the electorate, and consulted with Milton Glaser, the architect of the “I Love New York” campaign, and the Swedish industrial designer Thomas Meyerhoffer to work on logos.

His messaging would have stressed Mr. Bloomberg’s identity as a self-made man and a problem solver not beholden to either party. A draft of his website carried the slogan, “All Work and No Party.” One logo, etched in purple, read simply: “Fix It.”

A rough cut of a presidential campaign ad described Mr. Bloomberg as the product of middle-class Medford, Mass., who built a multibillion-dollar enterprise from scratch. It cast Mr. Bloomberg as a philanthropist who had given generously to fight deadly diseases, and highlighted his experience managing New York’s security after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

“Finally, a new choice,” the commercial’s narrator says. “Independent Mike Bloomberg: President.”

Trevor Potter, the election lawyer who was counsel to John McCain’s 2008 campaign, was retained to assemble legal teams to handle local and state ballot-access issues, and address constitutional questions that could arise from an inconclusive result in the Electoral College.

A ballot-access consultant, Michael Arno, leased nearly a dozen offices in Texas and North Carolina to begin gathering signatures to place Mr. Bloomberg on the ballot in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

For Mr. Bloomberg, who wrote in his autobiography that the presidency was one of the three jobs he most wanted, the decision drops the curtain on a long-held dream.

In announcing it, Mr. Bloomberg said he expected to serve in other ways. “For most Americans, citizenship requires little more than paying taxes,” he wrote. “But many have given their lives to defend our nation — and all of us have an obligation as voters to stand up on behalf of ideas and principles that, as Lincoln said, represent ‘the last best hope on Earth.’

“I hope and pray I’m doing that,” he wrote.

I have to say this. I am not a fan of Donald Trump. If he becomes President we will get in World War 3. It's over. He offends everyone.

That being said I"m loving watching the snobby, educated elite squirm, the ladies from the The View squirm, members from the Democratic and Republican Party squirm and the supposedly "unbiased" media squirm. I have never seen news anchors, pundits and political party members openly plot together on air and paper to smear someone just so they can cause them to lose a contest. If you think about what is going on, it is like an episode of South Park. It's also exposing people's biases.

Come on, you made a ridiculous statement- you must expect a comment back on it.
You said the protestors were Bernie supporters. I don't know whether they all were or not- in general they were anti Donald Trump protestors. They were protesting, I'm sure, because they feel he's a bigoted misogynistic bully who shouldn't be in the running to become the most powerful person in the world. They are free to protest if they so wish. Perhaps many or most of them really were Bernie Sanders supporters. You then go on to say they should go and get jobs. That's a quite bizarre thing to say. I can only make the link that they must be unemployed because; a) people that protest are always unemployed or b) people that support Bernie Sanders are usually unemployed (neither of which are true).
btw- not veryone that's unemployed wants to be unemployed.

Here's a thought...What if neither Trump nor Sanders get the nomination of their respective parties...Imagine if they join forces (to destroy the "Hildabeast" ) and run on the same Trump/Sanders or Sanders/Trump ticket as independents. Now that would be something.

I doubt much that Trump is thinking positive with Sanders at this moment after this past weekends protesting. It would be interesting if they do.Ex NYC mayor Mike Bloomberg was going to run .I wonder how would he make out.To bad that Mr Kasich's numbers are not better. He seems to have the most experience doing the job as pres .Cruz and Rubio could get together if Cruz gets nominated.

The clock is ticking .We will see who will rise and fall tomorrow night after the results are tabulated. .

I hope the U.S. will not have to learn some things the hard way.

Which candidate early on tweeted out some b.s. about 81% of all white murders being by black people? And why would anybody wonder why there are people upset? And then there is the bible flaunting and praying in public and kindergarten level name calling on gender and size terms. Really embarrassing backward stuff for an election in any modern nation.

A formerly Republican friend said "Kaisich would be the logical choice for the Republicans therefore he is OUT! That is the nature of the game. Pick the Monkey who shrieks the LOUDEST and beats on his chest the hardest. EEEEEPPP!" Maybe it's not too late for a competent person like Kasich with a record of service who worked his way up? Or Hillary, even if you disagree with some of her fundamental ideas which I can understand, has proven competence which I think should be respected though one might want for something more than just competence usually. Or maybe people really do want some celebrity or outsider running their country, not sure why but... find out the hard way then. I wouldn't want to myself. Reactionism feels good in the moment I suppose but it's a four year term. I'm telling you, Trump won't be able to do thing, and he promises things like changing libel laws so he can sue the media which is typical of his ignorance, nor will Bernie or Cruz be able to do anything to varying degrees. Any of those three will make Carter and his public shaming speeches to stop doing and using look mild in actual practice.

:distress:

Oh but, the woman, she has a "lust for power," you can just 'feel' it... I guess it's just too bad someone down there didn't do their jobs more often upholding the laws about illegal employment (benefiting only people like Trump), I mean other than using your tax money to build nice housing centers to get the illegal aliens off the street where they could be hired illegally. This could be a case of 'divided you fell' as so many seem ready to support a billionaire who normally has no contact with average people and their concerns day to day. Oops. I can understand it feels good in the moment though, exciting, historic even. I sure hope an actual conservative party comes back because I really think the U.S. really needs one.

Oh, and before I come to 'rant mode ended,' please people who cite Reagan constantly yet espouse things opposite to his recorded beliefs and actions.. at least know he raised taxes many times, more than tripled the national debt, sold weapons to Iraq and Iran, and (here's one for the liberals) wanted military style assault weapons of the streets and the Brady bill to be enforced (not allowed to lapse for some cheap points by the biggest lobby group in Washington D.C.).

I agree with you Becca. Some years ago my country was in a similar situation and ended up electing the wrong person.
I can assure you that, aside from all the other problems, electing a business man to guide a country almost ends up backfiring because everything will be run like a company, especially education and healthcare.

Yes. He wasn't literally the Monkey who shrieked the loudest, he was the monkey who instead of talking about his political program constantly told dirty jokes during the debates.
And yes, think that until recently we didn't even get to vote which politician represented each faction at the elections. The party itself decided it, hence why he was a constant presence in the government since the 80s.

Yea Its sad that it you cant win your home state as for Rubio. So far but he came in second place. Rubio is still young so he can try again some other time. Mr Kasich is keeping ahead in Ohio which I predicted but only 6 percent counted according to Google. news.He probably win his state lake Cruz did in Texas.

I'm surprised that Hillary did not mention FM in her favorites list.

Most of them including Mr Trump dig classic rock.

Complete Guide to the 2016 Candidates' Favorite Music
From Hillary Clinton and Selena Gomez to Marco Rubio and N.W.A, here are the candidates' favorite musicians

By David Browne February 1, 2016

Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton has said she likes Loretta Lynn, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga. Lisa

There was a time when it was adventurous for a U.S. president to like George Gershwin, as Harry Truman did when he wanted a break from his usual favorites, Mozart, Beethoven and Chopin. Those days are long gone: The current crop of Democratic and Republican presidential candidates like everything from 2pac's "California Love" to Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" to Pete Seeger's "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?"

Bernie Sanders
The Untold Story of Bernie Sanders' 1987 Folk Album »

But how deep do they go when it comes to being music fans? Rolling Stone reached out to all the major candidates, conducting new interviews, examining rally playlists and digging deep into their musical history to find out. Some of what we discovered was predictable (Ted Cruz claims he "didn't like how rock music responded" to the 9/11 attacks and turned to country), and some of it was surprising (Mike Huckabee will talk your ear off about Grand Funk Railroad).

But all this information is of the utmost importance to the country, with potential ramifications for inaugruation talent bookings, Kennedy Center Honors, White House gigs, and much more. So read closely, voters!
Hillary Clinton

Musical History
Like most in her generation, Clinton grew up with classic rock: "The Beatles and the Rolling Stones, the Who and the Doors," she said recently, "all of that, plus I like classical music because I find it relaxing when I'm thinking about stressful things." During college, she was dancing to Elvis and Supremes songs.

Favorites
Clinton has praised female acts from Loretta Lynn to Selena Gomez, Lana Del Rey and Lady Gaga. In a recent essay for Billboard's Women in Music issue, Clinton wrote that these women are "the best at what they do, whether that's fronting a raucous soul band, writing hypnotic dance anthems, unspooling intricate rap lyrics about female empowerment or crooning ballads about heartbreak and young love." Clinton also recently gave props to Beyoncé. "You see her on TV, it's impressive. You see her in person, you're just stunned, thinking like, 'How does she do that?' Really. I mean, she sings, she's up, she's down. It's just amazing. I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
At her campaign stops, Clinton's camp plays the same lineup of 13 songs: Latin pop (Jennifer Lopez's "Let's Get Loud," Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida"), pop (Katy Perry's "Roar," Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger," Sara Bareilles' "Brave"), fist-pumping modern rock (American Authors' "Best Day of My Life" and "Believer," Gym Class Heroes' "The Fighter"). If the list sounds focus-grouped, it may have been: Clinton's campaign paid $90,000 to a consulting firm in Portland, Oregon, to help compile the list. [Update: A rep from Clinton's campaign says they pick the music for the rallies themselves but paid a Portland consulting firm $9,000 to use music from the agency's library for Clinton's web videos.]

Donald Trump

Musical History
In Michael D'Antonio's recent bio Never Enough, Trump claimed he gave a music teacher a black eye in second grade, saying, "I didn't think she knew anything about music."

Favorites
Trump has name-checked Aerosmith, Elton John, Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson in the past, though he seems to think they're "terrific" as much for their personalities as their tunes. His tastes undoubtedly run right down the middle of classic rock; according to aides, Trump programs his own campaign rally playlists, which include songs such as the Stone's "Brown Sugar." His go-to campaign song, though, has been Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," which he rocks at the end of his rallies.

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Trump was spotted at a 2006 Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young concert in New York, where he was seen talking with fellow concert attendee Salman Rushdie. Afterward, he told Rolling Stone of Young, "He's got something very special. I've listened to his music for years and I've seen him before that, but I went to the concert where they were honoring Bob Dylan years ago at Madison Square Garden and Neil got up and totally brought the house down. There was nobody close. He's performed for me at my casinos over the years and he just brings it down. I've met him on occasions and he's a terrific guy. … His voice is perfect and haunting. He's 63 and I don't think it's changed." He noted he liked "the older stuff better" when it came to Young. Recently, though, Young demanded that Trump stop using "Rockin' in the Free World" at rallies, and Trump has called Young a "hypocrite" based on a meeting they had about Young's Pono music player.
Ben Carson

Musical History
Unsurprisingly for someone who grew up in Detroit in the Sixties, Carson gives props to Motown. "It's pretty hard to grow up in Motown without developing an affinity for the Motown sound – in particular the baritone saxophone that was a Motown hallmark," he tells Rolling Stone. On cornet and then baritone horn, Carson performed in both the jazz and classical ensembles in high school, playing Motown hits like "Get Ready," and he instantly names the Four Tops as his preferred Motown group.

Favorites
Carson likes classical music, especially Baroque composers like Bach, Handel and Vivaldi. (While playing classical music during surgical procedures, Carson would quiz his team on the names of composers, which still makes him chuckle.) Asked to name his favorite songs, Carson cites Roy Clark's 1969 country crossover ballad hit "Yesterday When I Was Young" — "the melody and harmonies and chord progression are beautiful." But the song that touches him the most? "MacArthur Park," especially the original version talk-sung by actor Richard Harris. "It's a long song, like seven minutes long. And a lot of the words don't make a lot of sense: 'MacArthur's Park is melting in the dark.' What the devil is he talking about? It has three different parts and part two — 'I will drink the wine while it is warm and never let you catch me looking at the sun' — is just beatiful music. Again, the words don't make a lot of sense."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Carson has a fondness for rock with classical overtones, especially the Moody Blues' symphonic-rock landmark Days of Future Passed. He tells Rolling Stone, "I loved the way they merged the rock and roll music with classical music. 'Evening,' 'Tuesday Afternoon' — I like almost the whole album, really." Asked whether he admires other bands that integrated classical, like Emerson, Lake & Palmer, he says, "I kinda liked it all." Another unlikely fave from his teen years: Gloria Gaynor's disco anthem "I Will Survive." Says Carson, "You listen to the expended version, and the instrumental interlude is just fabulous – the trumpets. Just a well-done piece of music."

Bernie Sanders

Musical History
In 1987, when he was still mayor of Burlington, Vermont, Sanders recorded an album, the cassette-only We Shall Overcome: one side of covers of folk anthems like "This Land Is Your Land" and "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" and another side devoted to "A Conversation With Bernie Sanders." Sanders' half-barking style of singing wasn't terribly musical: "As talented of a guy as he is, he has absolutely not one musical bone in his body, and that became painfully obvious from the get-go," producer Todd Lockwood told Seven Days, the Vermont alt-weekly. "This is a guy who couldn't even tap his foot to music coming over the radio. No sense of melody. No sense of rhythm – the rhythm part surprised me, because he has good rhythm when he's delivering a speech in public."

Favorites
Last year, Sanders told Rolling Stone he favors classical music: "On my iPad, I have all of Beethoven's symphonies," he said. In terms of pop, he championed "the Motown sound," especially the Supremes and Temptations. Sanders confessed he loves Abba and disco (especially the Bee Gees), and Celine Dion. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show last fall, he danced (a bit) to the Trammps' "Disco Inferno." Sanders' camp used a minute of Simon & Garfunkel's "America" in its Iowa caucus ads.

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Jam-band fans should know that We Shall Overcome was recorded at the same studio where Phish cut 1992's A Picture of Nectar. Sanders also sang with Vampire Weekend at a recent campaign event in Iowa.
Chris Christie

Musical History
Growing up in Jersey in the Sixties, Christie says his first 45 single may have been Edwin Starr's "War": "I can remember my parents coming across the hall and just going, 'Turn it down, turn it down,'" he tells Rolling Stone. "We would be playing that stuff really loud." But nothing compared to the night in December 1975 when older friends took him to see Springsteen at New Jersey's Seton Hall University. "I heard 'Rosalita' before that, and then I got invited to go to this thing and said, 'Why not?' It was hot and sweaty and he was just the most exciting guy I had ever seen on stage. I was hooked after that."

Chris Christie
Chris Christie Fawns Over Bruce Springsteen in Lost Emails »

Favorites
With Christie, it's all about Springsteen, even if his hero doesn't always agree with him politically. "We have our political disagreements, and I'm sure I'm not his cup of tea politically on some issues," he says. "I learned a long time ago to separate the political stuff Bruce will say on stage or in interviews that I disagree with, and my affection for his music and my affection for him as an artist. It's never affected my desire to go in my car and turn on his stuff." His go-to Bruce album remains Born to Run: "It spoke to who I was and where I was from. If you listen, obviously, to some of the songs on Born to Run, there are many New Jersey-type references." "Thunder Road" remains his preferred Springsteen tune: "It has all of the things that make Bruce's music great. It's got a great melody, really good lyrics. It was the perfect song to open Born to Run because it sounded like a welcoming. The music sounded like it was an invitation into this experience."

Runners-up in the Springsteen album category are Darkness on the Edge of Town ("written after a really ugly period of fighting with his manager and not being able to record and all the rest, and so you hear that anger and that angst reflected in the songs") and Magic, which Christie calls "a relatively underrated album." "'Girls in Their Summer Clothes' is a fun, great summer song,' and 'Radio Nowhere' is a lot of fun," he says. "There's some clunkers on there, like 'Gypsy Biker.' I'm not thrilled with 'Devil's Arcade.' But 'Long Walk Home' is classic Springsteen. Talking about everything being related to where you're from and who you are." Least favorite Bruce album: The Ghost of Tom Joad, which he calls "music to hang yourself by."

Non-Bruce Favorites
Unsurprisingly for an East Coast guy, Christie has a special love for Billy Joel: "The same guy who wrote 'Captain Jack' wrote 'You're My Home.' The same guy who writes something like 'Uptown Girl' also wrote 'Honesty.' He has great range. He has got this group of songs on Glass Houses — 'All for Leyna,' "Sometimes a Fantasy' and 'Sleeping with the Television On' — with similar themes of him being obsessive about a woman. Very fun." Christie also cherishes Bryan Adams ("you forget how many hits that guy had") and Talking Heads ("'And She Was' and 'Wild Wild Life,' we listened to those in high school and early parts of college – have a couple of beers and start dancing"). His favorite current album is Bruno Mars' Doo-Wops & Hooligans: "Whether you're talking about 'Grenade' or 'Runaway Baby,' it's great stuff. Then he can do something like 'The Other Side' with Cee Lo. That's one where you just get in the car and if you're looking for a good time you can throw that on."

Rock-the-Vote Moment, Guilty Pleasure Division
No, not John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band. Instead, he geeks out on Seventies R&B love man Barry White ("He was such a character. It was so out there with the lyrics and the Love Unlimited Orchestra, and it just makes me laugh") and Backstreet Boys: "I love listening to 'I Want It That Way' and 'Everybody.' There's something about the Backstreet stuff. But no NSYNC."

Jeb Bush

Musical History
In his recent book Reply All, Bush acknowledged he had piano lessons as a kid. "It was tough and I didn't enjoy it," he wrote. "In fact, I wasn't that good at it. But you know what? It gave me discipline which helped me as an adult. So my advice is to be obedient to your mom."

Favorites
He's cited Stevie Wonder and Al Green, but is said to lean toward country, which explains why the Zack Brown Band's "Homegrown" is a Bush-rally regular. Other songs blasted at Bush events have included Journey's "Wheel in the Sky," Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Still Unbroken," Eddie Money's "Two Tickets to Paradise" and Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion." His son, Jeb Jr., has also said there was "a lot of salsa, a lot of Luis Miguel" in their home thanks to Bush's Mexican-born wife Columba.

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Bush held a fundraising event for Republican state senate candidates last year at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, Tennessee. The museum documents the saga of the Bristol Sessions, the 1927 recording dates with Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family that helped spread the word on country. The museum also includes exhibits or recordings by Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Emmylou Harris.
John Kasich

Musical History
Like many his age (63), Kasich grew up with classic rock like Pink Floyd and AC/DC ("Thunderstruck" was played at least one Kasich event). At a 1991 Grateful Dead show in D.C., Kasich, then a member of the House, was given a backstage pass by opening act Dwight Yoakam, which Kasich tried to use to watch the Dead as well. When the Dead's crew prevented him from getting anywhere near Garcia and the band, some sort of shouting match occurred; Kasich has said it was because he was talking loud because of the loudness of the music.

Favorites
He's said "the single greatest concert I've ever seen" was Roger Waters' The Wall tour, and he's joked (or not) that he'd hire Pink Floyd to play at his inauguration. He's also sung the praises of what he calls "alternative music," including Pearl Jam and Linkin Park ("they're really good and I like those guys," he says of the latter), along with Bastille's recent "Pompeii."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Kasich's prog-loving side erupts not only in his Floyd love but the way in 2011 he asked the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame why Rush wasn't in the Hall. When they finally made the ballot a few years later, he tweeted, "So happy for those guys." Kasich is also clearly a fan of the album format: "The problem today," he's said, "[is] you can like a lot of the music [but] most of them do not produce complete great albums. One of the last great albums was Green Day. But you don't have a whole album full of one hit after another."

Marco Rubio

Musical History
In the sixth grade in the mid-Eighties, Rubio discovered acts like Afrika Bambaataa and Grandmaster Flash, to the irritation of his Van Halen-loving friends. Rubio's three most beloved hip-hop tracks are N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton," 2pac and the Outlawz' "Killuminati" and Eminem's "Lose Yourself."

Favorites
2Pac also made Rubio's favorite album, All Eyez on Me. "He went over to the West Coast and went to Death Row Records and they produced one of the greatest rap albums ever, where it had 'California [Love]' and all these other songs," he's said. That era remains his favorite: "Maybe I'm getting old. I still love it. Especially the stuff that came out of the West Coast and California in the Nineties, when Dre and, you know, then Tupac went West Coast and abandoned the East Coast. That was a good time…. I don't think they should have shot each other and had a dispute that way, but I was a West Coast fan." Lately Rubio has also lauded Drake and the Weeknd for the way they blend disparate genres.

Rock-the-Vote Moment
In July, Rubio tweeted, "clear two hours of my schedule on Aug 14. Gotta see Straight Outta Compton." In another tweet, Rubio defended fellow Floridian Pitbull: "Makes party music not message music. Always been place for that in hip hop."
Carly Fiorina

Musical History
At the urging of her parents, Fiorina studied piano as a child. "I soon found that learning the music and perfecting my playing could completely absorb me," she wrote later. "I would practice for hours on end.… I also came to find in music something beautiful that spoke to my own fears, self doubts and nightmares." She also praised Mozart as "angelic and otherworldly in its beauty.… I could hear angst and fear in Beethoven. His music was sublime, and ultimately triumphant in its suffering and humanity." Eventually, though, Fiorina perished any thought of becoming a pro musician: "Over time I learned that although I love the music, I could not live with the isolation that came along with it. And who knows whether I really had the talent anyway?"

Favorites
Fiorina gravitates toward the peaceful-easy-feeling side of Seventies and Eighties rock, citing the Eagles, Hall & Oates, the Doobie Brothers, Traffic and Steve Winwood solo. Among her favorite songs, she tells Rolling Stone, are the Doobies' "China Grove" and "Listen to the Music" and Van Morrison's "Domino" and "Moondance." Fiorina says she listens to Morrison in particular to get "lifted up."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
"Carly's granddaughters are big fans of anything by Taylor Swift," says a Fiorina spokesperson, "so she enjoys listening to Taylor's songs with them."

Martin O'Malley

Musical History
Handling guitar and banjo, O'Malley played in a folk band, Shannon Tide, in high school in D.C.: "We weren't very good but by golly we hit the supply-and-demand curve, since there were about seven Irish bars that wanted music," he tells Rolling Stone. "I would get paid to play in the band in a bar. Not many kids in high school get that." Also in high school, O'Malley earned cred points by picking up U2's War: "Yes, the one with 'The Refugee' and 'Sunday Bloody Sunday.' My high school friend used to mock me for being so square to play folk music. But I wasn't so square when I bought that one." In 1998, O'Malley formed O'Malley's March, an Irish folk-rock band that released four indie albums and opened for the Pogues in 2001, when O'Malley was mayor of Baltimore. "We were the warm-up act," he says. "Everybody can deal with five or six songs." The Neville Brothers performed at O'Malley's mayoral inauguration in 1999; Kool and the Gang and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy played at his inauguration once when he was elected governor of Maryland in 2007.

O'Malley grew up on the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem's 1963 wool-sweaters-and-harmonies classic In Person at Carnegie Hall ("I remember practically wearing out the vinyl on that one"), but his desert-island disc is Springsteen's Born to Run. "My older sister Eileen was big into Springsteen, so she probably left the album to me. The guy's like the poet laureate of the American dream. He has that empathy for the underdog, the sort of blue-collar work ethic. There's the pain of the violence that goes on almost anonymously in the heart of American cities in 'Jungleland' and the ability to make our own future of 'Born to Run.'" He also cites The Seeger Sessions: "It was a lot of the songs I first heard as a little kid on folk albums. I'm guessing perhaps he was hearing them in his house as well." His Irish upbringing also made him a Pogues fan, especially If I Should Fall from Grace With God: "In 'Thousands Are Sailing,' there's also empathy for the underdog, not like Springsteen." He also loves soundtrack scores by Hans Zimmer: "Especially the battle scene from The Gladiator. That puts you in a good frame of mind, in the day prep."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
On The View last year, O'Malley sang and strummed Taylor's Swift's "Bad Blood." "What did Rolling Stone call it? A 'punk music war crime'? [Actually, it was "pop culture war crime."] I can't disagree. My staff made me lower the key. If I'd only I'd done it in the key I'd practiced, it'd have been a little bit better." O'Malley has also been known to break into song at campaign events, and around Baltimore.
Mike Huckabee

Musical History
After seeing the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964, young Huckabee begged his parents for a guitar, eventually switching to bass, which he plays in his band, Capitol Offense. As a teenager in the late Sixties and early Seventies, he gravitated toward the Beatles, the Who and Hendrix. Tommy in particular blew his mind. "The fact that this entire album unfolded a narrative was so groundbreaking," he tells Rolling Stone. "Tommy was woven together so beautifully: none of the songs were just unlistenable, because it was part of that continuity that made it all work. Here was this guy who was disconnected from the world, and he had this rapid rise into almost being a messiah-like figure, but it was not real, and it all came crashing down on him. I thought, 'That's kind of the story of a lot of people who have a sudden rise in stardom, and then it all falls apart.' When you're 15 or 16, a simple story can be pretty solid."

With Capitol Offense, Huckabee has covered "Sweet Home Alabama," "Louie Louie" and other classics. But his one-time performance of Boston's "More Than a Feeling" didn't thrill Tom Scholz, who publicly complained. Says Huckabee, "I didn't care what he thought. We only played it one time, and there was this allegation that we were playing it all over events, which was nonsense. And the reason we did it was because Barry Goudreau, who played with Boston as lead guitar player for a good bit of time, was a guest artist and played with our band, so of course we played with the song. It was really kind of stupid of [Scholz] to complain. If he doesn't want to get the royalties, then take his song off the market."

Favorites
Abbey Road is his go-to Beatles album. ("Some of the songs have more orchestration, and a little bit deeper sense of the use of minor chords on some of the songs. 'Come Together' has a great bass line, obviously, so that was one that talked to me.") Discussing one of his other favorite records, Grand Funk's 1970 Live Album, Huckabee taps into his inner Homer Simpson in the 1996 "Homerpalooza" episode: "They were just unbelievable live, and the live album just captured all the energy of a rock concert. In the original days of Grand Funk, there were only three of them, and they had to make enough music out of the three of them to carry the whole thing. Mel Schacher is one of the truly underestimated bass players. Mark Farner's a guitar genius. And Don Brewer was a great drummer. It was just an electric combination."

That era remains his favorite: "The Eighties is kind of a lost decade for me, musically. That's when music went to hell, and here's why. From the Eighties on, pop music became just that: ear candy, it was no longer about musicians having a unique, very empowering kind of signature sound. It was so heavily produced and engineered that the artists were secondary to the engineering. The track that goes underneath is very repetitive. There's nothing in particular that's unique about the music of it. It's a catchy rhythm. It's like musical soda pop, and I just don't get it."

Rock-the-Vote Moment
Talking about certain acts, Huckabee instantly turns gear-head. "The first time I heard 'Purple Haze,' I was just completely mesmerized," he says. "Hendrix was doing things with his guitar that today requires three foot pedals to get done. And he had a fuzz box, and that's it. Everything else was done by his control of feedback, and he had this ability to just burn his amp up to get that very muddy sound otherwise you never could get. You just sit there in awe that this is one human being making those sounds, and it's not a bunch of engineers in the studio overdubbing it 10 times." Huckabee also recently obsessed over the B3 organ and bought a bunch of classic-rock standards featuring that instrument, including Arthur Brown's "Fire" and Deep Purple's "Hush." "It's the most unmatched musical instrument ever," he says. "Think about Procol Harum's 'White Shade of Pale' without that B3."

I see that Bernie is eating away Hillary's delegates. He won Wisconsin .Mr Trump fell alittlebit in Wisconsin last Tuesday but probably take on New York on the 19 of this month which will keep him ahead of Mr Cruz.More likely the Reps will have to go to the convention in Cleveland in July to hammer things out for the nomination with Mr Trump,Mr Cruz and Mr Kasich..Poor Mr Kasich is still hanging on and probably to the end.I have to give him credit for putting up with the crap from the others.

She's the epitome of a corrupt elitist career politician, you guys really want to keep electing people like that? She may have good taste in music, but that hardly qualifies her for presidency. Also, you guys are aware that she has several scandals going on right now? Is that not foreshadowing as to what she would be like as president?

Looks like the people are sending her a message...

An interesting read from the Huffington Post...

Millions of Democrats are voting for a presidential candidate linked to an FBI criminal investigation. These voters either don’t know there’s been a year-long FBI investigation of Clinton’s emails, don’t care, or would vote for Clinton even she faced Espionage Act indictments. Potentially our next Commander in Chief will be interviewed by the FBI soon, as will her top aides. This state of affairs would never take place in any other leading democracy, but American politics is unique.

Bernie Sanders has political momentum, grass roots support throughout the nation, and defeats Donald Trump by a wider margin than Clinton. Sanders has surged to within several points nationally of Clinton, despite being over 50 points down not long ago. In contrast, Clinton lost astronomical leads to both Obama and Sanders, and doesn’t keep polling leads. Furthermore, Trump won’t watch his tone about emails, and every other scandal associated with both Clintons. The pedestrian polling lead Hillary Clinton currently holds over Donald Trump isn’t set in stone; Trump is already ahead of Clinton in a recent poll.

Don’t be certain Trump can’t defeat Clinton in a general election, even if the FBI doesn’t recommend indictments. Once he pivots towards being a semi-normal human being, and distances himself from the bigoted stances he utilized to gain power within the GOP, Clinton would face a more “likable” Trump. In a battle of two individuals with negative favorability ratings, the person who might have jeopardized national security with a private server could easily lose.

In the best case scenario, Clinton doesn’t face indictments, but the FBI confirms that she jeopardized national security. Thus, Republicans would make even the best case scenario for Clinton’s campaign a major political liability. America isn’t a closed Democratic primary, and Clinton would be on the defensive during every televised debate against Trump.

This dynamic doesn’t exist with Bernie Sanders against Trump. All Bernie has to do is point and explain to America that Trump embodies everything wrong with money and politics. Bernie doesn’t have any controversies, or hidden Wall Street transcripts. Bernie also didn’t accept money from Donald Trump, but Hillary Clinton did take Trump’s money. While Bernie can distance himself completely, Clinton is too closely tied to the eventual GOP nominee, especially through their social networks. There’s a reason Trump invited the Clintons, and not Bernie and Jane Sanders, to his wedding. There’s also a reason Trump goes golfing with Bill, and not Bernie.

However, the biggest reason Clinton should concede to Bernie Sanders involves the political repercussions of the FBI’s email investigation. The long-term future of the Democratic Party rests upon whether or not the FBI discloses its findings before, or after the contested Democratic convention. While I believe Bernie Sanders will win the Democratic nomination, there’s a major issue few people have addressed in progressive circles.

What happens if Clinton wins the nomination, and the FBI recommends indictments after July 25, 2016?

If the FBI recommends indictments, and the DOJ indicts Hillary Clinton, the Democratic Party would be handing Donald Trump the White House by nominating the former Secretary of State. I explain in this YouTube segment why Clinton should concede the Democratic nomination to Bernie Sanders, before the political ramifications of a contested convention, and before the FBI discloses its findings.

First, there used to be a time in American history when Bernie Sanders would be the only choice for Democratic nominee. Not long ago, an FBI investigation meant the end of a presidential campaign. Clinton would have been forced to conceded at any point in U.S. history before 2016, linked to a criminal FBI investigation.

Unfortunately, the inept Republican Party, combined with Bill and Hillary Clinton’s uncanny ability to circumvent scandal, have made even FBI investigations morally relative. Because of Ken Starr, Benghazi hearings, and the notion that anything Republicans advocate must either be a conspiracy, or some plot to harm Hillary Clinton, voters simply roll their eyes at controversy. I addressed why only Hillary Clinton is capable of enduring these issues during my CNN New Day appearance.

Second, millions of loyal Hillary supporters would still vote for Clinton, even if the FBI recommended Espionage Act indictments. Since “gross negligence” can be used to prosecute Clinton under the Espionage Act, and since convenience wasn’t the reason for owning a private server, indictments are likely. Also, if indictments become a reality, the fracture within the Democratic Party, caused by people who’d still vote for a candidate facing criminal indictment, would be irreparable. The rest of the world would either be laughing, or in disbelief, that Clinton decided to continue her campaign for the presidency (with supporters still loyal), even with the threat of jail time. Rest assured, even more Bernie supporters would refuse to vote for Clinton, if her campaign continued its quest for the White House, alongside criminal indictments.

Then there’s the likelihood of criminal charges. Every “legal scholar” or pundit defending Clinton assumes that merely convenience, or absent-mindedness, was the reason for a private server. Since there was almost certainly political utility involved in circumventing U.S. government networks, the DOJ has intent and motive to indict Clinton.

In a Wall Street Journal op-ed titled Clinton’s Emails: A Criminal Charge Is Justified, former attorney general Michael B. Mukasey states the case for Clinton’s prosecution:

When asked whether she had her server “wiped,” she assumed an air of grandmotherly befuddlement: “What, like with a cloth or something?” she said. “I don’t know how it works digitally at all.”

...Whatever the findings from that part of the probe, intelligence-community investigators believe it is nearly certain that Mrs. Clinton’s server was hacked, possibly by the Chinese or the Russians. This raises the distinct possibility that she would be subject to blackmail in connection with those transactions and whatever else was on that server by people with hostile intent against this country...

The simple proposition that everyone is equal before the law suggests that Mrs. Clinton’s state of mind—whether mere knowledge of what she was doing as to mishandling classified information; or gross negligence in the case of the mishandling of information relating to national defense; or bad intent as to actual or attempted destruction of email messages; or corrupt intent as to State Department business—justifies a criminal charge of one sort or another.

Like former attorney general Michael Mukasey explains, any other individual would have already been charged with several crimes. Also, it’s almost certain foreign intelligence agencies and hackers compromised Clinton’s server.

The most important element of this story is how Hillary Clinton transferred classified data from a secure State Department network to a private server. I need to ask this question of my friend Tim Black, especially since he has an IT background, and made this comprehensive analysis of the email story.

Finally, if you don’t believe H. A. Goodman, then take the word of President Obama’s former head of the Defense Intelligence Agency. On CNN with Jake Tapper, Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn explains why Clinton should drop out of the race:

“If it were me, I would have been out the door and probably in jail,” said Flynn, who decried what he said was a “lack of accountability, frankly, in a person who should have been much more responsible in her actions as the secretary of state of the United States of America.”

“This over-classification excuse is not an excuse,” Flynn said Friday. “If it’s classified, it’s classified.”

If Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn believes he’d be in jail for doing what Clinton did with a private server, why are millions still voting for Clinton?

I trust Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn more than Brian Fallon.

The FBI will eventually disclose its findings. To pretend like this will never happen, or that these revelations won’t have an impact, is ludicrous. Democrats will need Bernie Sanders, when Clinton faces the political ramifications of this scandal. If criminal indictments hit, rest assured that many of her supporters will argue that she should still be Commander in Chief, even risking possible jail time. This depressing state of affairs could be on the horizon, which is why Clinton should concede to Bernie sooner, rather than later. Finally, I explain here why the FBI’s reputation is at stake, and how the Clinton campaign views the FBI, in the following YouTube segment.

I just don't understand Bernie's ideas. We have this huge debt and the government is already rapidly spending more money than it brings in. Why would we want to exacerbate that? If you own a business and one of your employees keeps spending more than the profit of the company, you should probably fire that employee. Healthcare should be more affordable and so should college, but it's ridiculous to put such a huge percentage of the tax burden on such a small percentage of the population. Regardless of income, anyone who pays income tax is already paying too much.

Yea .Bernie's agenda is odd like Mr Trump's.Maybe thats the reason people like Bernie .I agree with affordable healthcare and college.Kids and their parents cant afford tuition to get them though one semester nevermind 4 years of college. After seen these riots and protests.Apparently they are not learning or teaching anything good there.

Does Stevie think Reagan was a democratic president?

So listen Stevie, saying there has been no great Republican president is an uneducated comment. Just to name a few: Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, HW Bush, Ulysses S Grant.........

I don't think that's what she was saying. She was referring to great Presidents in the generic sense of JFK or RR, not as Republican or Democrat. Makes sense that her dad, a very successful corporate type would be Republican and Conservative. I'll bet the older she's gotten , the more "Republican" she is. Most likely a conservative Independent when it comes to $$ and a liberal when it comes to social issues.
