Well, there you go, i've waited very patiently for this, with the cancelled show in 2013, to watching everyone post videos and reviews of this tour. It was worth the wait, I don't think i ever really appreciated how balanced they were as a band with Christine back. Everything flows better has a counterbalance it's just perfection.
New songs were amazing.... i felt BTLH fell flat due to it's placement in the set, that section was a real rocking part of the show and i kind put an end to that. but Sara was out of this world, best live in person version i've heard. Think About Me, well you could have knocked me over with a feather, if i hadn't heard that during soundcheck i wouldn't have believe you. :blob2::blob2:
Two more shows to go....

Glad you enjoyed the show! I just find it odd that they decide to change the setlist on the final leg of the tour, with only 16 shows to go. But I am glad they have a little adventure left in them!

Thanks for posting your videos. That was a really nice version of "Sara." I saw them perform it on the 2013 tour, minus Christine, but I think this version is better. Also enjoyed "Think About Me" with better sound than the previously posted video.
The Internet is a wonderful thing... to be able to watch Fleetwood Mac perform in Sydney here in Minnesota, USA just hours after it happened is fantastic. I had the pleasure of visiting Sydney, Brisbane, and Port Douglas on a vacation 2 years ago and would love to return.

Thank you so much for posting those wonderful videos, I went all teary eyed. I can't wait to see them. Counting down the days (what to wear, what to wear?).
What kind of camera did you bring? I've got a little handycam that takes photos, has anyone had trouble bringing these into venues?
Honestly, it's a dream setlist for me.

No problem! I thought I may as well try and get some footage while in a position to do so. Seats for some of my other shows don't have a particularly good vantage point in comparison.
I know NOTHING about cameras and this was my first time using one since I was 11 and had a film camera - disposable and all.... It's just a small (but expensive-ish) digital camera. Had no issues bringing it in. http://www.amazon.com/Sony-DSC-RX100-Sensor-Digital-Camera/dp/B00889ST2G

I'm going to see Fleetwood Mac tomorrow night. I'm not going to watch your videos yet Nicole - I'm sure they are great but I promised myself I wouldn't watch any of the videos until after I've seen them in the flesh.
I am very surprised that they decided to change the set list at this late stage of the world tour. I am a little disappointed that I Know I'm Not Wrong has been dropped because I really love that song, but I'm looking forward to Sara and Think About Me.
I'll be sitting (or standing) on the arena floor, section SG-1, row 27, seats 11-14. Are any Ledgies seated nearby?

Also, Lindsey needs a refresher course on The Beatles. He attributed Ringo's 'I've got blisters on my fingers!', which comes at the end of Helter Skelter, to John Lennon.
I volunteer to give said refresher course...
Fantastic videos, Nicole. Thank you for posting! Also, glad to see Chris is still making good use of her whistle.:p

Amazing videos, thank you for posting! They are in good form - and Stevie sounds fantastic. One of the best Saras I've heard in recent years. And the vocals on Think About Me sounds really tight - much better than in the first video that was posted. So glad that the band finally made it to Oz!

ASTONISHED by Think About Me. Devastated that I didn't get to experience it. This is great.
I would have preferred if Lindsey did his part more ferociously. I liked the contrast of her crooning and him demanding, THINK ABOUT ME, every once in a while. I don't particularly like his softer stance on the song.
But if I'd been in the audience, if she said they were doing one from Tusk I would have been jumping up and down from that point on, dying through the seconds it took to have her specify which song it was.

Thanks for that, those little cameras are good. I know what you mean by seating positions, looks like you had pretty good ones here. I tried, but the closest Ill be getting is 12 rows from the front in Geelong but it still should be a surreal experience. Might even get another ticket but behind the stage at Rod Laver, might be an interesting angle? Have seats for one of the arena shows but it's lower level so my child has a view :)

Fleetwood Mac fans cheer, laugh, cry and show love for the band on their Australian tour
IF you could harness all the energy devoted to singing Fleetwood Mac songs in loungerooms, cars and bars over the past 40 years, it would create a mighty bang.
The audience at the opening Australian concert by the legendary band at Sydney’s Allphones Arena brought an energy powered by all those moments, whether a solo karaoke of their favourite song, perhaps Go Your Own Way, or the more universally sung-to-the-rafters Don’t Stop.
Their myth is rooted in the reality of their drug-fuelled romantic entanglements and bust-ups as documented so honestly and historically on the greatest breakup album of all time Rumours.
The Fleetwood Mac on offer in 2015 is one every fan had not dared hope for over the past 16 years; the return of the classic line-up featuring Christine McVie.
This reunion appears to have a restored a natural order, and much-missed songs, to the concert life of Mac and the band’s devoted fanbase.
On this greatest hits tour, resumed after bassist John McVie’s treatment for cancer, the beloved rockers sounded perfect and clearly enjoyed embarking on this concert caper again.
Yet this isn’t a band simply running through a well-structured hits set played with the ease of familiarity and virtuosity.
There was seriously a lot of love in the room, both on and offstage, even when Lindsey Buckingham got a little creepy with his vocals on Never Going Back Again.
And it’s not only the love these five musicians have for each other, which is truly astounding when you consider how they tortured each other back on the 70s and 80s.
Where the love, and the joy and even a few tears, really happens, is in the audience.
Like the three people behind me harmonising so tunefully to the opening track The Chain, the band’s statement of intent to keep it all together for this tour, at least.
Or the enthusiastic air drummers everywhere in the crowd who played along to Tusk.
Or the big Christine fan who almost busted out of his chair space as he danced and sang along to You Make Loving Fun.
Or me who may have got something in both eyes during Sara, a song introduced to the setlist for the Australian concerts.
That’s the thing about a Fleetwood Mac concert which remains truer now than ever in those creatively and personally tense eras.
The Mac are just such a big deal to the fans, and they respect that loyalty by not messing with the memories.
Stevie Nicks twirls is her layers of black and mic stand of scarves and ribbons.
Buckingham is an engaging guitar show-off, that rare musician whose hyper emotional performance somehow remains connected to the song rather than veering too far off into an indulgent display of proficiency.
Christine just delivers that understated and warm depth she always brought to the band.
And then there’s that devilishly handsome and beguiling rhythm section of bassist John and the masterful, commanding drummer Mick Fleetwood.
The world would have been a less magical and mirthful and musical place without Fleetwood making this band all those decades ago.
What remains at the end of a night which included Tusk, Dreams, Rhiannon, Gold Dust Woman, Landslide, Big Love, Go Your Own Way, Everywhere, Little Lies and Songbird are the feeling that the songs you have always loved from one of the world’s greatest bands still sound as good as they do in your memory.
And that rarely happens.

Fleetwood Mac Allphones Arena, October 22
★★★
The executive summary would be accurate but also not ever enough: too long and inconsistent of energy; some good sections and a virtual Classic Hits radio playlist; another "seriously, what the ... ?" moment with a drum solo and Christine McVie. Yes folks, it's worth an exclamation mark, Christine McVie!
The return, after 16 years, of the longest songwriting contributor in the band was always going to be more than just another body to accommodate onstage and a few more songs to add to the setlist. McVie's songs, from You Make Loving Fun - appearing two songs in, between Lindsey Buckingham's The Chain and Stevie Nick's Dreams, in the democratic/pragmatic structure long necessary in this complex band - to the show's closer, Songbird, with her at piano and only Buckingham on guitar accompanying her, are not just standards.
They, and she, are also the temperamental, lyrical and melodic balancing point between the very yin and definitely yang of the band's dominant forces, Nicks and Buckingham. That fractious pair these days make a deliberate, almost ostentatious, point of acknowledging each other, even singing to each other. But the more comfortable and frequent interactions are between Nicks and McVie, and Buckingham and McVie.
As with Nicks and to a lesser extent Buckingham, McVie's voice is not what it used to be and songs never really fly the way they used to. But accommodations are made, both by an audience just happy to have them there and ready to applaud anything, and a band with up to five extra voices filling out those harmonies. (Curiously, while the three backing singers and two extra guitarists/keyboard player/vocalists were acknowledged by Mick Fleetwood in the band introductions, no mention was made of the back-up drummer/percussionist hidden behind the guitar amps.)
Warmth and general happiness – not to mention an odd but entertaining Cajun spin on Tusk and the now standard, and winning, duo version of Landslide - weren't always enough to compensate for many flat periods where tempos dragged and things felt listless. Notably, Sara, Say You Love Me, Think About Me and Gypsy were sat through rather than lived through.
But from Little Lies, a lesser McVie number which nonetheless sparked up the evening as we approached the two-hour mark, the show regained its footing and energy, if not necessarily its quality settings. The less said about Fleetwood's obligatory solo the better, though it might be worth asking if they come back again, could we instead have Nicks, solo at piano, singing Planets Of The Universe. Please?
Fleetwood Mac play Allphones Arena Saturday and Sunday and Hope Estate Winery, November 14-15. Coopers Stadium, Adelaide, October 28; Domain Stadium, Perth, October 30; Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne November 2, 4 and 6; Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong, November 7; Brisbane Entertainment Centre, November 10 and 12

Concert was amazing. I could hear TAM and BTLH being played during the sound check while we waited to go into Mick's meet and greet which was an unexpected but great surprise.
The meet and greet was amazing, I don't know why but I was surprised at how genuinely friendly Mick seemed. He said that the new music will be released in some form or another, with or without a certain member and he also said that he believed the band had one more big tour left in them which he hopes would begin at the end of 2016. I asked him if there was any possibility that they would play Glastonbury to which he replied (after much waffling) 'probably not'.
Security were pretty strict. They would only allow the first row to the stage. I was row 2 and when I went to the stage I was promptly instructed to return or I'll be 'ushered out'. However I absoluteiy refused to sit down so about 4 songs in a security guy came to me and my mate and allowed us to go to the stage! The show was amazing. Christine is quite interactive, I managed to strum Lindsay's guitar and shook hands with Stevie. I think I went a litte crazy and after the concert I had numerous people come up to me to ask if I was the guy in the red t-shirt at the front dancing like a lunatic (!).
Highlights for me were GDW, little lies, Think About Me, ISA, and I had goosebumps for the entirety of Songbird.
Can't wait for Sunday night!

Thanks everyone for the reviews, and Nicole for the videos. I was able to appreciate TAM so much more with your footage. And I completely agree with what others have said about youtube video sound quality being nothing like the sound in the concert. I was pleasantly shocked with how great they sounded when I first saw them live, after watching so many videos with dreadful sound.
I'd love to hear both TAM and BTLH live, but I also happy that IKINW and SOTM were in the set list over here, as I love those too! Great to hear everyone having a good time after a long wait :D

It's so beautiful, yeah.
See, I find it funny that people are surprised by that. They never hug at the beginning of a tour for Sara. In 2009, she'd put a hand on his shoulder and he'd lean in to her neck or just her arm. In 2013, she'd put a hand on his shoulder and they'd do this slow dance-y half-circle movement. Eventually, on both those tours, it would evolve into a full hug, with him putting both arms around her in 2009 but not 2013. There were a lot of variations.

I get the impression Nicole Barker doesn't like Christine very much. As I'm watching her videos on YouTube, it's like she's trying to avoid focusing on Christine, even on Christine's songs. There were no shots of Christine in Nicole Barker's Sara video or The Chain.
I am beyond bummed they didn't play Sara in America. While I'm grateful I got to see all five of them play in my lifetime and I got to see You Make Loving Fun, Everywhere, and Say You Love Me and Sara in 2013, Sara (and Hold Me) are my two most favorite songs and it would have been very sentimental to see all five of them perform Sara. I would have given up any other Stevie song for Sara. Vent over. I wonder why they went with Think About Me. I also wonder if they really rehearsed Hold Me back before the tour started last year. Bleed to Love Her is meh to me. I would rather have Eyes of The World with Christine back. Mirage is my favorite album. Gypsy is one of their best songs, but that album deserves more love than just Gypsy.

Your impression is close enough to correct. While I don't dislike Chris, I've never really been a fan, and my interest lays solely with Stevie and Lindsey. I tried to remember to focus over on Chris but she wasn't exactly near to where I was standing so it wasn't something I did as much as I probably ought to have, sorry. It just wasn't a priority to me. I wasn't trying to AVOID Chris. It's just that my natural instinct is to focus and film only SnL. Any Christine in my videos was because of a concerted effort to film her because I knew others would want me to. Apologies for not having enough of her in my videos, though.

I love the song Think About Me. I think if it would have been the first single from Tusk it would have made the top 10. But it still was a modest hit peaking at #20 pop and higher on rock charts. Tusk sold millions of albums and had 3 radio hits.
I hate to hear Christine say "this was a single that did not do terribly well." I have never heard anything like that at a concert before. Her depression comes through with her putting down her music. Last year she said her 2004 solo album was in the pits of hell.
Chris... stop putting down your music. You had most of the hits with Fleetwood Mac in the top 5, top 10, top 20 and even top 30.
I know how depression works since I suffered many years ago. You do put yourself down in subtle ways.
Think About Me was a hit on an album that sold millions.
Having got that off my chest......
I think Love In Store #22 peak is also a great hit and translates live better. I would love to hear that live again.

You did a fantastic job on your recordings considering it was night 1.
I throughly enjoyed all your videos and after seeing them I am so looking forward to seeing the shows in Melbourne.
Thanks again job well done!!

Nice to see a familiar name in this thread! Glad you had such a great time, golddustboi. I don't blame you for going crazy - what an intoxicating night. All five members were in fine form. I thought Stevie's voice sounded better than any of the times I had seen her in the past. Perhaps it was because she had been able to have a break from touring. Christine was a delight and having her songs back made for such a much more balanced setlist. Having (mostly!) avoided YouTube videos until I had seen the show for myself, I was so impressed with the use of the video screens and the impact of the visual elements. It was a much more 'current' show, in that sense, than I had been anticipating. Highlights on Thursday were 'Sara' (I missed 'Sisters Of The Moon', but it was worth sacrificing to have 'Sara' back), 'Everywhere', 'Tusk' and 'Gold Dust Woman' for me. I was way back on the floor on Thursday which let me appreciate the scope of the staging, but I'm excited to be down the front tonight. Bring it on!

Nicole .You did a beautiful job capturing the show.I have to check that camera you are using because my videos were ruined with distorted sound with my Nikon.Yes I understand what you mean about focusing "pun intended" on favorite band members.I do it with Stevie. Whats great seeing multiple show is I get a chance to capture video or snap shots everything. As long as the camera batteries last. I'm so upset how the sound came out with my tour videos and be embarrass to show them.

Thanks! Haven't even used a camera since I was about eleven, so underestimated how sore my poor shoulders would get, lol. Will have to cut down on the footage I take a little bit, I think. Still. So amazing to see.
Oh, lovely. Glad you'll get to see them. It was really so great.

Speaking of evolution, I was thinking of how Lindsey started his tour whisper singing Not Too Late, an opening quiet interlude to start the show. By the end of the tour he was screaming at the end of the song.
I'd like that with Think About Me. It's harder because they are doing a small band, intimate rendition of the song and it makes sense that it's soft, but I want him to get more animated at the end and just let loose, beccause that's the way the recorded version makes me feel. I hope if the song stays in the setlist, he starts putting chops into the vocal. I don't want him to ruin the mood, but kind of give it a little nuance and variance.

Leave it to the best! Fleetwood Mac thrill fans as they kick off their On With The Show tour in Sydney in first visit Down Under since 2009
ByChloe-lee Longhetti For Daily Mail Australia
Published: 23:13 EST, 22 October 2015
They've just performed shows in countries including the US and UK, as part of their On With The Show World Tour.
And finally kicking off their highly anticipated Australian and New Zealand leg, iconic rock band Fleetwood Mac hit the stage at Sydney's Allphones Arena on Thursday night.
The group thrilled fans, with their high energy performance being one to remember.
Featuring all five leading members of the group - Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie, who collaborated on the hit 70s album Rumours - their supporters took to social media to express their adoration.
One Twitter user, @courtnestle dubbed the evening 'the best night of my life,' in part of her post, adding: 'I cannot believe I saw my favourite band LIVE #FleetwoodMac.'
Another, @IamAlecJones posted how great the night was, writing: 'Sharing one of the most memorable moments last night in Sydney with my mother and brother. Thank you #FleetwoodMac.'
Meanwhile another admirer, @lottienorman, said the band 'still got it,' in part of her tweet.
The group, known for hits including Dreams and Little Lieswill, plays shows over the weekend in Sydney before heading interstate.
Next month, they will head to New Zealand for a string of concerts.
Christine famously took a 16-year break for the band, having retired from it in 1998 but returning officially last year.
The band last toured Australia in 2009 with their Unleashed shows.
Drummer and co-founder Mick this week sat down with Mornings' David Campbell, and spoke about Christine's return.
'It is the five pieces all in place,' Mick said.
'And it's magic, she's really back you know, there she is.'
He said that this won't be their last time on the road and spoke about how younger people are getting into their music.
'There is a lot of young, young people that just know and love the music...they know so much about us. A lot of the drama which is real between the guys and girls in Fleetwood Mac. But its been real. Its not always been a lot of fun, but that's what they see on stage,' he added.

Spoiler Alert: What To Expect From Fleetwood Mac’s Australian Tour
Fleetwood Mac are an unmissable icons, and the opening night of their Aussie ‘On With The Show’ tour was a rockfest of the highest calibre. The famed five piece lineup – back together after 16 years of playing sans Christine McVie were on absolute top form, and all members played with the stamina and energy of performers decades their junior.
68-year-old Mick Fleetwood tore up on percussion, while guitarking Lindsey Buckingham went strong all night – the only member not to take a break for a single song the whole set.
Sydney’s Allphones Arena was buzzing with anticipation for the show’s start, and by the time the iconic opening riff of 1977’s ‘The Chain’ rang out, the atmosphere was at fever pitch, and fans were cheering from the get go.
With almost fifty years of first-class material to choose from, there wasn’t a single number the whole evening that wasn’t adored by the crowd. Hits ‘Second Hand News’ and ‘Rhiannon’ went off, and the older crowd demographic definitely didn’t hinder the upbeat, rocking ambience of the night.
An unexpectedly sweet highlight of the night was the rendition of ‘Bleed to Love Her’ from 1997’s The Dance album, the last record the group performed before Chrstine McVie took her departure. Buckingham shared the story of the song, a number that delves into some of the emotion and heartbreak the band has been through personally, and together as a group. Buckingham and McVie shared a couple of sentimental glances, and the number overall was quite touching and sweet.
Stevie Nicks was an absolute treat to look at in her opening ensemble, the kind of outfit that you could just keep looking at and discovering something new. Gypsy crow meets Slovenian grandmother probably describes it – flowing, lacy, glittery, and fabulous, it was classic Nicks, and it was glorious.
The ‘prodigal daughter’ of the group Christine McVie absolutely defied her age, looking elegant, playing beautifully, and bringing an understated air of graciousness to the stage.
Bassist John McVie kept it cool and calm in the wings, opting out of the spotlight and any showboating, but absolutely shredding the whole night. From his deep licks to his gritty endurance you’d never know he is suffering any health problems, and was a pillar and backbone to the whole night’s sound.
Taking a break from the hugeness of the rock show, Lindsey Buckingham performed a cranking solo of Tango in the Night’s single ‘Big Love’ before a short acoustic set with Stevie Nicks covering ‘Landslide’ and ‘Never Going Back Again’.
Rejoined by the rest of the band, they launched into ‘Think About Me’, before playing through an overwhelming stream of hit after hit. ‘Gypsy‘ followed by ‘Little Lies’, and ‘Gold Dust Woman’, before an absolutely massive ‘I’m So Afraid’ culminated in Buckingham screaming with reckless abandon slapping his frets and letting the front row fans play his guitar – the whole moment was so classic rock that it looked like it might end with Buckingham just smashing his guitar right there on stage, though fortunately he restrained himself enough to keep it to jumping on the spot while the crowd lost themselves in the rock.
Finishing up the set with ‘Go Your Own Way’, by the time the number was over not a single person in the arena was sitting, and there were more than a few people wiping a tear from their eyes.
It would be a sin for a band of this calibre to not come back out for an encore, and the crowd revelled in ‘World Turning’, which led into a several minute long Mick Fleetwood drum solo, a number that highlighted just how damn great the guy is, both behind a kit, and on the microphone. The crowd cheered, laughed, and played off Fleetwood as he mirthfully and wildly rocked out.
Don’t Stop’ was a roof raiser, with the whole arena harmonising, and would have been a massive high to finish on – however the group opted go out on a softer note, playing through ‘Silver Springs’ together, before finally closing on a Buckingham McVie duet in ‘Songbird’.
Following the final number Fleetwood returned to the stage for a heartfelt thank you to the fans, to his bandmates, and a timely reminder to take care of ourselves in this crazy world we now find ourselves in. From his little speech, echoing an earlier sentiment Nicks had shared, it’s clear the group is from another time, and however relevant they have made themselves in today’s culture, they are in fact a little world weary.
Fleetwood has hinted in recent interviews that On With The Show will likely be the very final tour of the band – at least as the iconic five-piece they have once again found themselves. His little speech was emotive, and perhaps a touching, if veiled farewell.
Maybe it was something in the water, but the 70s seemed to breed a different set of performers, and Fleetwood Mac are among some of the best. The group should basically be a ‘how to guide’ for current musos on how to put on an unforgettable performance. Thursday’s opening night of their Australian tour was absolutely exceptional, a simply wonderful night, and remarkable performance.

No problem! It was my first time seeing them live, so it was pretty cool getting to do so from five rows back. Good to know you had a spot nearby; it was pretty neat and I was just so impressed by how good everything looked and sounded.
Think About Me was pretty fantastic! Brown Eyes is my favourite of Christine's Tusk songs, but I much preferred this to the videos I've seen of Over My Head. :)

Fleetwood Mac review – still winning over the generations in Sydney
4 / 5 stars
The band who’ve made peace with the past put on a truly group effort, satisfying old, new and future pop lovers with a nostalgia-light set
What brings someone to a Fleetwood Mac concert in 2015? Hazy memories of Rumours the first time round. The bashed up vinyl inherited from a parent. Another interview with Haim, wearing their influences as openly as their Stevie Nicks-inspired style. Or pure and simple love of pop, never mind the vintage?
Whatever the reason, Sydney’s All Phones Arena boasts a surprisingly all-ages crowd for the first of Fleetwood Mac’s anticipated Australian dates (a 2013 visit was cancelled when band member John McVie started treatment for cancer).
The band have been on hiatus for three months since the last leg of their On With The Show world tour. Lindsey Buckingham complains of blisters on his fingers. Stevie struggles to remember a well-worn anecdote of her first trip to the Velvet Underground in San Francisco.
At least, they tell us they’re blistering and struggling. From here in the side seats, they’re smashing it out of the Olympic park. And even if the three other bandmates vie for less attention than these famous ex-lovers – Mick Fleetwood happy for the most part behind his drumkit – this is a true group show.
A 23-song set takes us from the predictable opener of Chains to the inevitable closer of Go Your Own Way, plus two encores, the second a stripped-down take on Songbird showcasing Christine McVie, back to complete the Rumours line-up. Between those bookends, the biggest crowd reactions come for Tusk, with its relentless Trojan marching beat and later, Buckingham’s guitar-geek pleasing – if somewhat indulgent – solo on Big Love.
You’d expect a night of nostalgia and, sure, we get some songs that haven’t been performed for years: Tusk album track, Think About Me, for example, which “didn’t do very well at the time but we’ve always been rather fond of,” says Christine McVie.
But overall, there’s a sense that the band who say they are in their “last act” have made peace with the past. Introducing Bleed to Love Her (last done live in 1997), it’s Buckingham once again who brings up the heartbreak and breakups and breakdowns that make up the Fleetwood Mac truth and myth.
With everyone back together, “you have to assume a great deal of love,” he concludes – what were songs of “alienation” are now songs of “meditation”. Don’t start, Lindsey. We’ve already got Stevie for all that hippy dippy stuff. The tiny queen of the twirl clops around unselfconciously in her black platforms and shawls, her voice as unforced as her persona.
What brings someone to a Fleetwood Mac gig? In my case, it’s rescuing a friend, a first-time mother who’s barely slept in four-and-a-half months. The wall-to-wall hits visibly revive her, but we each have our songs we need to hear. Mine’s Everywhere. It comes early and doesn’t disappoint, Christine McVie’s vocals unshowy, the song dripping with the tingly feels it’s always had.
My companion is waiting for Landslide, which doesn’t turn up for over an hour. Nicks launches into a rambling “Don’t give up on your dreams” speech before duetting with Buckingham into the familiar chorus: “Time makes you bolder / Even children get older / And I’m getting older too.”
The next day I get a message on my phone: “I was singing to Zara all morning”. Plus a photo of a smiling baby. Looks like the Mac magic is winning over another generation

Also I was thinking the song would benefit from a guitar solo at the end (I think the 1980 live version had one). The way they're doing it now, it ends sort of abruptly.

They sort of got it backwards. Austrailia is the one country that didn't get to see SOTM since it returned to the set. And they did it in 09. Still, it had a great run.
The only switch they made that makes me incredibly jelous is think about me replacing over my head. It's cool SYW is "kind of" being represented now, but they replaced a really high energy song with a kind of dull song. They should really replace BTLH with one of Chris and Lindsey's new songs. Austrailia deserves a treat after the unfortunate cancellations from 2013, plus stevie will have to just sit there and swing her tambourine to the bands new stuff she won't partake in!
And this show's Silver Springs might be the best of this whole 2 year tour.
kind of dull song. They should really replace BTLH with one of Chris and Lindsey's new songs. Austrailia deserves a treat after the unfortunate cancellations from 2013, plus stevie will have to just sit there and swing her tambourine to the bands new stuff she won't partake in!
however much one of the new songs would be spectacular, BTLH is an amazing gorgeous song!! and it's interesting to hear the whole band version after he performed it so much completely solo. although i have no clue why he slowed it down this much all of the sudden.
ASTONISHED by Think About Me. Devastated that I didn't get to experience it. This is great.
I would have preferred if Lindsey did his part more ferociously. I liked the contrast of her crooning and him demanding, THINK ABOUT ME, every once in a while. I don't particularly like his softer stance on the song.
yes! hope he may progress to this, as the shows go on... but maybe he won't.
either way thrilled about Think About Me!! that and Hold Me would be my 2 top Chris songs i'd love to see live.
happy that i heard SOTM (which i love) on this tour, instead of boring Sara which i have a hard time making through. and people who love Sara in AUS are now getting it so everyone's happy.

Just noticed, Silver Springs went back up to the original key for the 22nd show, then back down 1/2 step for the 24th. The original key gives Stevie's voice a pretty good edge but i guess it's pretty tough going vocally. Still, at least they did it in the original key at least once!

She later said it was decent and she just didn't promote In The Meantime. I feel a huge change in her over the last 2 1/2 years. She is really so upbeat about her music, nowadays. It's great to see.

Is it just me... or was that that best damned Sara since... 1980? Jesus. She nailed every note. Only complaint... that they did not use a REAL piano with the tacks on the hammers. Sara really needs a tack piano for the full effect.
It also seems to me that Stevie's voice is better on this leg than the beginning of the whole tour. She was trying Falsetto, using her quiet inside lush voice and hitting high notes she usually fears. Plus, at least for one show, she did Silver Springs up a key.
Christine also sounds great as usual.
