Does anyone knows if Warner owns Stevie's back catalog? Warner had made an announcement a few months back that they are planning an entire remastered/deluxe editions of many artists. Phil Collins is the first. He's entire solo catalog (minus the Disney crap) is being reissued as 2CD deluxe versions. Warner are tight lipped about what other artists are to follow (A-ha, the European band, is also getting Warner's deluxe treatment, sadly only in Europe). Could Stevie's back catalog be in the works as deluxe editions?

Here are the albums that Warner's list as "active status".
Bella Donna
Timespace
Trouble In Shangri-La
Crystal Visions
The Soundstage Sessions
In Your Dreams
24 Karat Gold
So you'll notice there's a few missing from that list.
There's some type of new rule in place that gives ownership back
to the artist after a 10 year period. It doesn't apply to artist past
a certain date. I can't remember if it goes back to the eighties or
late seventies.
Shelby Lynne has recently benefited from this. She now has control
over her albums I Am Shelby Lynne and Love, Shelby.
I'm sure you could Google it and find out more.
