Tusk first album in digital

[ViscountViktor]

I've heard that Tusk was the first album recorded in digital?

Is this true? If so, why isn't this fact more well known and well publicized?

[SisterNightroad]

Someone had asked this to Richard Dashut long ago, he said (I think) that Tusk was the first album to have been recorded on double track?

I found this pdf file about digital recording.

It was available then.Probably very expensive .

This forum sheds more light on it.
