[elle]

2-song dedications continue!

there were rumors before the show Peter Green will be there tonight. glad it seems that turned out to be true.

[shackin'up]

Lovely. If they could just put a guitar in his hands to play Albatross after Songbird...

explanation from @rwaltzinginblue on tumblr:
“Christine came out with a pair of hedge trimmers jokingly threatening to cut off Mick’s wooden balls. That’s why Lindsey did that when she approached him. Stevie did not look impressed!”

OMG Stevie's face when Lindsey does that!!

[Montclare]

Christine getting the penguin for John made me tear up! So sweet. :)

[teedeerocks]

Where is Stevie's sense of humor these days Geezzz....

Oh, they are in high spirits. They must be happy because they're getting a long vacation soon.

I wonder where Christine got hedge trimmers anyway. Michele

And then John came over to to say thank you. That was a great moment to have captured.

They apparently bring tools with them on tour, lol. They were last brought out at the end of the US leg.

Yes, I guess that makes perfect sense. The crew needs them to set up. Michele

[michelej1]

Oh my goodness. The fact that they start walking backwards when they see Christine with the clippers in her hands is much funnier than Lindsey grabbing his crotch.

Michele

[ViscountViktor]

They seem to be having so much fun recently.

John brought them out in Amsterdam and teased Mick to trim his wooden balls.

I captured it on video

yes. you never know when you'll find some hedges that need trimming in the middle of the arena.

great capture, thanks for sharing! here it is embedded -

this made me go back and look at Charlottesville show - was sure Christine had shears then and was threatening Lindsey with them during his speech, but it was actually a bat at that time (around 2 minute mark)

[Seasonsofmylife]

Thanks Elle, I think I figured it out!

The next night (June 6th) Christine came out like this:

and we finally have Lindsey's Peter Green dedication too -

[michelej1]

yes. you never know when you'll find some hedges that need trimming in the middle of the arena.

Well, there could be thick sound cables to cut ... or maybe you need to extricate Lindsey from his jeans, in an emergency.

Michele

[elle]

so apparently Peter Green entered the arena during Mick's m&g and as he was coming in Mick told fans at the m&g - look there's Peter Green coming in now! :)

a friend who was with Mick at the time Peter entered asked me to post here her pics - with Mick and one that O2 shared -
