I'm a little surprised that with Herbie's passing (God rest his soul) that more of his work hasn't shown up for sale on eBay, etc.

I know from experience that getting an estate through probate court can be a very time-consuming process. Until everything is approved, including the executor (even if named in the will) nothing can be sold.

Yes .It has to go through the process.Been through it with my late parents and sister. Luckly we had no issues and long delays before the property was handed over to us.

Luckly we had no issues and long delays before the property was handed over to us.My siblings and I expect to avoid probate entirely because my parents (both of whom are still alive) created a living trust (http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/how-living-trusts-avoid-probate-29848.html).

If Worthington's photographs hit the secondary market, I'd love to see any different ideas or outtakes he had from the 1975 album sessions. That bathroom shot has always seemed to me a last-minute substitute for another, perhaps higher-concept shot that didn't work out.

If I recall correctly, this stuff was around before Herbie's passing.

Right? It was like hurry up, just one more. I do wonder why they chose that.

I agree.Who needs the long wait of probate.

I hope his work gets in the right hands and not a money hungry eBay sleazebag.

And how long did it take for the Nephew to start a "Go fund me" and start begging for donations for travel/funeral expenses...Not long after that word came from Stevie that everything was being taken care of...
