This is really amazing... There's a version of Heart's What About Love? featuring Grace Slick and Stevie Nicks, that was posted on the Ivory Keys.... I have never heard this mentioned before, none of them have acknowledged this (to my knowing), and never seen this listed anywhere. The quality is pretty bad, and I can't really hear Stevie. I hear Grace at the end, but maybe someone else could hear it?

I've heard this a million times as well and can NEVER hear Stevie sing. I guess this is valid, cause I've heard people say they were there. But if Stevie did sing on it, it was probably some sort of limited back up vocal...probably just the "what about love" section. This is 1985 before Betty Ford, and I really can't see her being able to remember any words on someone else's song when she couldn't even remember the words to her own songs during this period.

The fidelity of the recording is so poor it's not surprising that it's hard to distinguish the background vocals. Since Anne Wilson is singing the lead vocal, the only job of the background singers is to chime in on the chorus. No matter whatever limitations Stevie may have been dealing with, I'm pretty sure she could manage the the one short phrase they sing, rinse and repeat. She wasn't that f*cked up.
