I may have missed a thread somewhere, but anyone notice how unhappy Stevie looks before Everywhere started at the Philadelphia show? Jim Powers' video focuses right in on it.

Yes. I think it's just her getting a bit emotional seeing Christine back in the limelight again. That's my opinion anyway.

I agree.
At the M&G, Mick told about Christine at the end of the 1997 tour. She decided to get rid of her keyboard and music instruments. Since she wouldn't use it anymore, she had no interest in keeping them in England.
But Stevie said No!! Don't throw it!! And she kept all Chris stuff at her home. And now that she came back, Stevie appeared with the keyboard and everything and Christine said NOOOO!!! You really kept them??
So yes, I think Stevie is more than happy and thrilled about Christine come back. And she never lost hope.

I understand this, but to me she just doesn't look happy. I know the face of someone overcome with emotion or whatever; to me she just looks like she is not enjoying being there. I say this because I sent that video to two casual-FM-fan friends both of whom made the same observation independently, and I wondered if anyone else had spotted it.

It looks to me like Stevie smiles at Christine just as the lights go down.

Wow I just notice that she was had the sad face.
Stevie probably had got some use out of Chris's keyboards as they were with her and keep the dust off them.
She's not sad, she's just emotional over what Christine is saying.
Christine sounds great!

She looks tired. Touring is tough work-- and she does it well. But she's not immune to the rigors of the road.

She just looks tired to me- and very intently listening to what Christine is saying. Her slothful tambourine playing & stage moves confirm her lethargy.
Stevie has always had the so called "resting bitch face," too- and that's something that only gets worse as people age & their faces migrate south.

I agree there is NO story here. She is listening carefully to Christine and shows she is really listening with empathy. Then she smiles big time and has such a good time singing back up to Everywhere.
Such a rush to judgment to accuse Stevie of being mad, sad, or jealous of Chris. That is the most ridiculous thing ever. Stevie gives a full speech at the end of the show how happy she is Chris is back. We all have different facial expressions at all times and they change. To take a few seconds of someone's facial expression and make up what you think or what you want to think is very wrong!
No story!

crap, it's only the beginning of the tour! If she's tired now how is she gonna be in December? Maybe Stevie should have taken her own advice and gotten a trainer. I wonder how her diet is on the road...just wondering. Diet plays a key role in one's energy level...Dont' kill me but she does look she's put on a few lbs...

I don't think she looks sad. In fact, I've never seen Stevie look happier on tour with Fleetwood Mac! I don 't think she's put on any weight at all, either. She has been doing a small amout of promo work for 24 Karat Gold, did a bit of promo work for the gallery/exhibition, and and she's working hard with Fleetwood Mac. Stevie is doing great, considering!

Yes.I hope shes going to be OK and not wear herself out by the end of the tour.Yes food is the main factor.I've been thorough that my self.stay away from the fast food and junk food.
Shes probably eating good when she stays in the hotels on the road.Order some steak with potato's with a veggie or fish .Stay away from the fast food joints with the fried foods.OK to splurge once a week but nut every day eating it.
Exercising is the key too.I got to do more of it then walking.
Stevie probably still has her treadmill thats she used in her video. She can use that for her walking.
I need to get one for the winter time.I'm taking a chance to break my a$$ on the ice and snow which wont be good.
This post is making me hungry.LOL........................
Shes a busy body so shes burning any calories that she gets from eating out.

Very wrong? There's nothing at all wrong about it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and, in this case, Ulpian provided video of the moment he meant and we all got a chance to make up our own minds.
Your opinion that Stevie looked so happy singing background on Everywhere was no more valid than his view that she looked sad at another time.

Rumour has it, Christine told Stevie not to make such a fuss. But I've no idea how true that is.

Oh wow. I cant believe this thread. To take seconds from an entire show and cast judgment is not wrong or incorrect than what is it? I saw the Mac 7 nights ago and Stevie is not tired, bored, or sad. She is happier than any tour since Wild Heart. She dances like she has not done at the end of Gold Dust Woman since 1983. She does a 5 minute speech at the end of the concert telling everyone it is a dream come true.
I don't think any of this is just my opinion. Its pretty factual. I think anyone can watch the entire clip and make up their own minds. The clip and other clips demonstrate the complete opposite of what the OP claims Stevie is sad. The clip shows Stevie listening to Chris so sincerely it is cute.
So I could use the word wrong or incorrect, or false. I don't see it as opinion but as factual.
I think you cant take seconds from an entire song or concert and draw an opinion like that. And it deserves pointing out. It like when the media takes a sentence from an interview out of context. It gives an entirely different meaning.
At any time during the concert they all are going to have tired or sad expressions. But it is out of context. Christine looks down and eyes closed during "I'm so afraid." She is in character since this is how she played the song in the 70s. If I would post 4 seconds of the video and say Chris is too tired to perform, her eyes are closed, and she looks depressed.....it would be proper for me to be corrected how way out of context my accusations would be from such a small clip.
Hope that makes sense ;)

That's how you perceive the clip. It's not "fact" it's just your observation. You can describe Stevie any way you want based on what you saw at the show or what you see on a video, but other people have the freedom to do the same.

Oh please. The ONLY thing we know for certain in all of their videos is that Lindsey was clearly smoking a doob "Not That Funny" on the "Mirage" concert video. But if somebody is smiling for 90% of something, they're probably happy.

If someone is ON STAGE trying to entertain an audience, I wouldn't conclude that they're probably happy. Maybe they're trying to engage. Maybe they're putting on a happy face.
Moreover, you can be happy 90% of the time and still be sad 10% of the time during a stage performance. Stevie said that for the Dance when she sang Sweet Girl, she thought of Christine wanting to leave and got emotional. So, if someone took a screen cap of Stevie during Sweet Girl, maybe she WAS sad in that second, even if she was all giggles and laughs the rest of the show.
The way they were acting in Europe at the end of the tour last year, I concluded that John McVie's cancer was not as serious as it sounded, because the band just looked too lighthearted to me. I think I was right, but if someone else thought they looked sad during their last show, I'm not going to accuse them of doing something wrong because they interpreted someone else's mood differently.

My Dad's friend James and his wife went to the Boston show on October 10th and said they thought there was a bit of tension between Lindsey and Stevie, I told him this was normal!
They were near the front on Lindsey's side and took some great photos which am hoping he'll send to me.
I'm sure most people have seen this but seeing Stevie so emotional before Landslide because of what happened in Boston, is quite moving:
