I've searched and haven't found where anyone else has brought this up. Anyway- the 3rd season of the TV show Revenge has a character named Stevie- her name is also short for Stephanie. She is an older, glamorous blonde woman (played by Gail O'Grady). I thought at first these things might just be a coincidence, or a very veiled nod to our Stevie.
Anyway- I was just watching the show on Netflix tonight, and it turns out Stevie is a recovering addict. After a stressful series of events she ended up pouring herself a glass of gin for the first time in decades (gin was her poison of choice), and Karen Elson's version of Gold Dust Woman from the recent Fleetwood Mac tribute album comes on. So obviously the character is more than just a passing reference to Ms Nicks. Thought y'all might like to know. :D

Stevie has genuine character with a unique presence. She's conventional, but yet still very unconventional in her lifestyle. It's understandable that she would be a natural muse for people in the entertainment business. She has a universal appeal, which has been proven with all the people in a variety of sectors who have come out over the years to cite her as an influence or inspiration.

Yes .I agree. Now to sway off the topic .I remember watching the 1980's Knight Rider series where Cathrine Hickland played a role of a blonde singer with the name Stevie short for Stephanie and the episode was called "Whitebird". I guess the writers were a fan of Stevie at the time and had EO17 White Wing Dove on their mind. She appeared in three episodes of Knight Rider including the episode mentioned.
Back on track.I got to check this show out.

Cathrine Hickland
She ended up playing the character of Lindsay Rappaport on the now defunct One Life To Live. I LOVED that character. She was beautiful but so flawed.
