Back in 1982, a local radio station were giving out tickets to Fleetwood Mac (Mirage Tour) and Olivia Newton-John (Physical Tour). I was barely a teen at that time and I tried to get those Fleetwood Mac tickets...and I did win...but Olivia Newton-John tickets instead. Haha. I went, it was actually fun and the seats were good. There is usually a section reserved for PR/Press.

Fast forward to 1999...won Stevie Nicks tickets to her Millennium Show in Vegas. Didn't go.

Fast forward to 2003...friend who works in the music industry hooked us up with promo tickets on the first Staples show in Los Angeles for Fleetwood Mac. Also......really good seats.

Oddly, both FM and ONJ seats were good, but always to the side of the stage.

No I never have luck to win anything off the radio or even TV.Or winning the state lottery to that matter.

I'm to slow on being the 9th caller.

Good luck on winning.

Several years ago a radio station here was having their 20th anniversary, and they got Sammy Hagar to perform a free concert. I won several tickets, including 4th row. I'm not a big fan of his at all, but winning is always fun.

My wife wins in radio competitions all the time. We've been to see Pat Benatar, Culture Club, Matchbox 20, and god knows who else over the years. Sometimes the seats are good, sometimes not so good. She's currently won some to go and see Mondo Rock (an Aussie band) but not sure we actually like them (she reckons she accidentally won them because she only caught the "call now" and didn't know who the tickets were for).

She's also won movie tickets, dinners and a couple of years ago a $500 gift voucher.

I'm still working on her getting to win the lottery!
