If Stevie were to compile a box set like Enchanted to include things recorded since 1998, what would be included, and how many discs?
I can think of these soundtrack and other items which are not on the two studio albums TISL and IYD:
If You Ever Did Believe
Crystal (Practical Magic soundtrack)
Touched by an Angel
Circle Dance
Crash
Not Fade Away
You Can't Fix This
...and maybe...
Dreams (Deep Dish)
Space Needle demo
Have No Heart demo
something from the Melbourne concerts
Sara from Soundstage
a Tom Petty duet from her tour with him
something from the Lady Antebellum sessions
...and several favourite tracks from each of the two albums.
I am sure I am missing a ton of stuff.

If you Ever Did Believe
Crystal
You Can't Fix This
Touched by An Angel
My Heart
You're Not The One
Crash Into Me
Thrown Down (TISL Verison)
1 or 2 Dallas Austin Demos for TISL
Strong Enough with Sheryl Crow (Story Tellers)
Piano Version of Moonlight( just because)
In Your Dreams (Live)
Red River Valley with Chris Issak
not sure what else but I could see her coming up with enough material for three dics.

Looks like at least two discs without even breaking a sweat.

as long as it's Christmas time, throw in Silent Night and her Santa Claus is Coming to Town duet with Chris Isaac.

And - for sure include the Gold Dust Woman version with Dave Grohl with the full rock ending.

Needles and Pins - live with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. It was an official single.
Also Stevie and Tom's demo of his song "The Apartment Song," which was featured on his box set.
Also, "At Last", a stunning live performance.
Also, the extended remix of "Long Way To Go".
And, with a completest mindset, also "God's Garden" and "Inspiration."
There are others that don't come to mind at the moment. Surely, though, there is plenty of material that could warrant another box set.
I'll always dream of a live anthology that includes every song she ever performed. A box set of alternate and early/demo versions of songs would be nice. Of course the holy grail would be a box of the unreleased material we all know of. Some of those songs are fully-formed, and even the ones in raw/evolving form are still outstanding. Yet others should not see the light of day! (yes, I'm talking to you Miss Mable Normand!)

OMG you know she'd torture us with the live at Red Rocks songs.

 The Red Rocks performance is like a third rail..better stand back for your own safety.
Even with all the studio noodling (and the way-too- obvious post filmed cheesy close ups) they did to make that show (a truncated DVD) presentable, there are numerous far better live representations of those songs throughout her career. The torture can easily be avoided with the right producer.

Call on Me for Magic
At Last
Rock and Roll (Led Zepp cover)

So would Enchanted II want to include the Rock and Roll or the Dreams remix mentioned (is that the one on Crystal Visions or different? I do really like it) if they were also on the Crystal Visions collection? Just a thought that crossed my mind.
Although with that said I'd love to see Silver Springs on a second box set. I'm just obsessed with the original Rumours version and I know, I know- its on the anniversary Rumours, The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac, and also Crystal Visions but ahhh that song is just absolutely sheer musical genius and perfection. Wouldn't be against a live version (even say from the last Mac tour. My camera memory card ran out of space halfway through while I was videoing Silver Springs in Detroit! Ugh!) or what about the version from The Dance- now that everyone is getting along and all at least. Lol. Gotta say though that I prefer the original for the sheer amount of passion in the end- I like to basically scream along and can totally understand why she wouldn't perform it like that in concert.
What would you guys want to see from TISL and IYD? And ooh what about releasing the different versions of TISL that were on the acetate? I know they've been what illegally released? Already so why not capitalize on it. I'd buy it just for that. Granted they could throw all the same songs I already own on it and I'd probably buy it too. Lol.
As far as TISL and IYD I think I'd want to see- both of the title tracks from those albums, Planets of the Universe (too bad they released that old demo on the Rumours anniversary album), Moonlight (A Vampire's Dream), New Orleans, Soilders Angel (feel like she'd personally want that one on it), um... Honestly TISL and IYD are my two favorite Stevie albums personally so I would probably be happy no matter what. What about you guys?

Tiptoe Through The Tulips?
Did that happen? Oh my goodness! I just... Wow.
So I'm not as "in the know" as some of you (pretty diehard compared to an average fan though lol) but I know Stevie has tons and tons of notebooks full of lyrics- Do we know how many of them have ever been recorded? Even just raw demos? I know she doesn't really do the music so I'm guessing that she has way more lyrics than have ever been out to music but so many years of recording you'd think there's got to me a good amount of material that didn't make it on the albums... I would give anything for a "from the vaults" kind of release although I know unfortunately that kind of stuff doesn't usually come out until a singer has either retired or passed and G-d willing we will have many many more years of Stevie but ahh I just think there's got to be tons of stuff out there and that would just be absolutely amazing!

She used to do most of her music, and I'm sure she still does do some..but..as she herself has said, and others (eg Ken Callait) she only knows a handful of chords and uses them over and over and over. My favorite demos are the ones with her accompanying herself on the piano. Amazing. I'd vote for a whole disc of those in her next boxed set. I wish she'd put her piano demo of Sisters of the Moon on the Tusk re-release.

Tiptoe Through The Tulips?
Oh wow.A Tiny Tim tune.
They probably have to speed up the recording in the studio to get Stevie's voice up to his octave .
She might sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks.LOL.......

There must be some outtakes from IYD lying in a vault?

Definitely Real Tears & Mirror Mirror; both are b-sides excluded from Enchanted.
Also, on the UK 12" single for I Can't Wait, an alternate version of Rock A Little was used. The version of the song on Rock A Little (the album) is an edit. Or, more like a chopped up cut and paste. Missing words, missing lines, missing instrumental flourishes... some of the stuff that makes no sense suddenly makes sense when you hear it as it was recorded. Thus, another box set should use the full version of the song that was included on the 12" I Can't Wait single.
A better place for it would be a remastered/expanded RAL CD. As if *that* will ever happen.
Additionally, the extended version of Rooms On Fire and the 12" mix of Long Way To Go should be included. They had no CD or vinyl release in the U.S., and were only available on German/Dutch/British singles.

I had no idea there was an extended version of rock a little! I've always loved the song. I just watched it on YouTube and really like it. The instruments are more there and sound great, I loved the flourishes. You can really understand what she's singing more because on the lp version, she is kind of hard to make out. Her voice sounds better more spaced out, not rushed and loved the couple of words thrown in there especially at the end. I didn't care for the back up singers though. Thanks for bringing that up Karma contestant!

You're welcome! I never cared for the song much until I heard this original version, but, like you, I find it easier to understand and the whole song breathes more with all that extra space and timing.

The b-side version of The Nightmare which she remixed herself. It 's rare, and much better than the album version. (She took out all the cheese.)

The remix is *only* on the 12" single. The 7" is a very, very slight edit of the LP version.

Right you are  I never listen to RAL so I actually had to get the RAL vinyl out and play it...The 12" remix is also 1:30 longer than the single version...
