I'm watching In Your Dreams and Stevie is telling the story about how she wrote lyrics to what would later become Tom Petty's Runaway Trains. She said Fleetwood Mac had actually recorded her version of the song. Does anyone know if that demo had ever surfaced and what her version was called? Considering she was able to take her parts from the Eyes of the World jam to make a fully realized Enchanted and to pull Wild Heart out of the Can't Go Back demo, I can't imagine she couldn't salvage the lyrics and melody from the Mike Campbell track even if she had to retool the music. Hell, she even got Stand Back from Little Red Corvette and it became her biggest hits.
