Come to the LA signing next week and ask her. :)
I've been trying to decide what to say/ask her this time. I've started a list. I'm going to keep it light-hearted. I've already told her my "serious" stuff. It's weird, now I feel like I could talk to her forever. So I'll need to make sure I don't get outta hand with the yakking.

I think she also mentioned that she never gets sick of Mexican food because that was what her mom ate when she was pregnant with her or something.

Yes! Stevie mentioned that in an interview when they asked her what she though of the Saturday Night Live skit of Lucy Lawless doing the "Stevie Nicks Fajita Roundup." I found the interview... Here's part of what Stevie said:
"Lucy looked amazing, and she was amazing as me. So I could not have been happier. It’s so interesting – when my mother was pregnant with me, the only thing she could keep down was enchiladas and refried beans. As for me, whenever I’m sick, the only thing I can tolerate is Mexican food! So the fact that they actually pulled that out of the air was so great. Because if I was ever going to have a restaurant that’s what it would be."

I'd love to join her at restaurant and have some nice tender cow. Who knows, maybe she likes her steak like I like mine, medium rare/medium.

I'd go with the tin tray. Easier to carry, and less dishes to wash up afterwards.

Yeah, but then it's not really a sandwich anymore is it? Like French dip or a Monte Carlo or sometimes you might have an open face where you pour something on top of it "a la king".

Depends how fancy the setup will be.I agree about the tin tray and less dish washing since thats one of my chores with the holiday dinners.
I would not put out a tin dish in the middle of a table full of fancy china and silverware.
I did catering with my late brother in law back in the 1980's set up tables.

Well, Stevie ate some nuts in the Rumours documentary. So she probably likes those.
I wonder which kind she likes the best.
My favorites are pecans, cashews and walnuts. (Although I like a lot of others)
And during the Klonopin years, she said that she "layed on the couch, ordered from the deli and drank wine". By that, I'm assuming she likes sandwiches. (Even though you can order other things from deli's too.)

She probably likes fresh caviar and escargot cooked just so with a glass of champaigne for dinner. Dessert is truffles. For lunch, triangular cucumber sandwiches with chai tea in an antique tea cup. For breakfast, a fish egge white omelette with freshly squeezed orange juice that was just squeezed ten minutes ago or less.

Thats sad to see the food go to waste. If I was doing shows or what ever .I would just get what I need and nothing gets wasted.Any regular foods are fine with me as long is not hot and spicy or seafood.

I had written this here before...or maybe not. I met Stevie a few times...Once at a restaurant on Sunset And Doheny...Beverly Hills/West Hollywood border. The place was called, The Hamburger Hamlet...it was an intimate dim kind of setting...low lights, deep maroons and greens, candles...A bit more quiet and more atmospheric than The Outback...but, along that scale....
It was her birthday and she had 2 limos full of friends and they joined tables together. She ordered 2 double "scotches" and was in a hippie hat and her hair was down and straight...she had on a flowery dress and blazer...and smoked one cigarette after the other...long cigarettes, 100s.
When she ordered food she ordered guacamole and chips and nachos...she asked the waitress something like...is that like 1 or 2 chips per person? Please, put those on this end of the table...laughs...she ordered chicken fajitas...before the snl skit...when the fajitas came the plate was on a wooden platter...the metal part was smoking and sizzling. When the waitress went to put it in front of her Stevie took the plate in her own hands...'then' asked if it was hot...and as if she were weak...she let it drop about a foot from the table...after dinner, she drank a ton of cappuccinos and when her cake came and they sang Happy Birthday...she stopped them...directed them to sing in harmony but, sing in a "round" finally they got it 3rd try.
When they were leaving and restroom visiting...Stevie was alone and that's when spoke for a bit...she looks you in the eye...shes very touchy feely...and she has that whole vibe for making you feel that she and I were the only two...she is humble and genuinely interested...asking questions...laughing...complimentary...polite...etc...I'm probably combing all of our brief meetings...she kisses you a couple of times and sort of bows/courtesies sort of squeezing your hand...touching your cheek...and nodding to patrons waving at her...smiling she is whisked away...she smells like Majie Noir Lancôme perfume...or maybe similar oils...and is lovely...
