*crazy fan girl alert * :]
I know that some of ya'll might be going "Who the heck is this guy?"
He's the drummer from Free and Bad Company. I personally love the guy and those 2 bands( musically) even more than Fleetwood Mac. In fact they're the reason why I was inactive for 5 months. :sorry:
So what do ya'll think of him? (solo song) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fs5ZdkGxN6M and Free/Bad Company?

Those were two great bands. Free was a whole lot more than just "All Right Now".
To me Bad Company was just Free with a couple of different members...Boz instead of Andy Fraser, Mick Ralphs instead of Paul Kossoff. Both bands' sound were pretty similar (instrumentally, I mean, since of course they'd sound the same since Paul Rodgers was the lead vocalist for both bands.)
Don't forget Simon Kirke also toured with Ringo's All-Starr Band, as well.

I think that Free were a bit more raw sounding than Bad Company. Paul Rodgers could sing the telephone book and I'd still love it. Kossoff(rip) and Fraser were brilliant. Ralphs and Burrell(rip) were just as good
Free are done a huge disservice here in the states. They had so many great songs besides that one. Wishing well, Sweet Tooth, Mr. Big, The Stealer, Free Me, Ride on a Pony, Be my Friend etc.
Simon did a great job on Shooting Star:

He was also in a band right after Bad Company broke up, called Wildlife. He wrote this song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLXRzCAMVXg&feature=youtube_gdata_player

to a 1976 concert of Bad Company, "Live in Albuquerque, NM 1976" and my jaw is dropped open because this has to be the BEST concert recording I have ever heard from any band in the 70's, if not one of the best recordings ever  !!!!

That is on my wishlist just for the liner notes/booklet. Photos from Mick Ralphs' personal collection? Yes, please!. I've heard the album in full on youtube and you're right. It's amazing! To think that this wasn't an official release. Why did Paul Rodgers not like it, I don't know.. He's the reason that it got pulled and is now selling for $200+.
