Heart aka "Why didn't someone tell me?"

Why didn't someone tell me that Heart had a new album out A YEAR AGO???? :laugh:

Turns out I didn't know either! When I read this, I was thinking of Ann Wilson's Hope and Glory album. Just looked it up and turns out that was released about a bajillion years ago and I'm just getting old and din't notice. :laugh:

What's your verdict on the new one, Chris?

I knew but I haven't bought anything by them since the very earliest '80s although they still sound really good live. Originally it was a band, then later it was the two sisters plus hired hands and producer studio effects to fill things out. Kind of like how Alice Cooper originally was a band and not just the one guy.

I've only just got through about half of it so far, but its ok, and will probably grow on me. I have to be honest and say that I haven't listened to Red Velvet Car since it was released and probably the same for Jupiter's Darling. There isn't anything wrong with them but I just tend to play the older albums or some of the live stuff if I am going to listen to Heart.

I really love Fanatic because its got more rock songs on it and when you hear them in concert you fall in love with them even more. Fanatic, Million Miles & Dear Old America are my favorites as well as Walking Good with Sarah McLachlan. I really loved Red Velvet Car as well and listened to that cd for an entire year. I think its great that they are still putting out good music after all these years.

Gaaahhhh Fanatic is amazing!! I am a big Heart fan so I bought it the day it was released, but I ended up loving most all the songs on it.

Fanatic was a grower. Wasn't impressed first few listens. Now I love it.
