As far as I know, in addition to the DVD there are bootleg videos of:

Uniondale
Pittsburgh
Camden
East Rutherford
Minnesota
St. Louis
Albany
New York
Landover

They aren't especially good quality though.

Thanks, Michelle! I have the Landower show, lousy quality tho, as you said. I've looked for the Vh1 All Access Fleetwood Mac recording, SYW, but can't find it. Do you know if that is available?

There is not much available as people have commented earlier, apart from the official DVD release which is very cool! Don't Stop with a brass section! Accordion on Tusk. Slow piano intro to Rhiannon. Banjo intro to Say You Love Me with John McVie "actually singing" [backing vocals]. Plus Temporary One, Bleed to Love Her, My Little Demon, Sweet Girl, Silver Springs (new addition to tour setlists debuted onstage in 1997).

The CD is missing five songs that are on the DVD. And is also missing the video which unless you are legally blind I am sure will be of great value to you! ;)

Stevie looked beautiful in 1997. And so did Chris. Just gorgeous...who knew she was going to retire so soon after?

But yeah, sorry, unfortunately the reason why bootleg videos are so lacking for the 1997 The Dance Tour is probably because the Internet was not as widely available back then as it is now, as you would know, YouTube probably did not exist in 1997. So any video you recorded would have to be saved on to a video cassette or DVD during that era, I think. Then shared with friends that way. The Internet as I remember only really took off about ten years ago in Australia when it became so omniscient, ever present. It existed before that but was dial-up mainly and very slow. I first accessed the Internet in 2002.

Anyway, I could get nostalgic but hey that's life.

Hey, James! Yeah, I thought as much when I starting searching to play catch up! I LOVE THe Dance video, cd, show, etc. and i remember how highly anticipated the show was in '97. When I sat down to FINALLY watch The Dance premiere after seeing a snippet here or there, so excited that it would be hard to put into words and then saw how good they all looked and sounded, I actually cried and I'm not a crier!

They were truly a sight for sore eyes! Stevie was so beautiful, strong and vulnerable at the same time. Christine was so tender with John and Lindsey got a reminder of the old Stevie...I think her intensity filming that show was a surprise even for him! And, Mick was in heaven!!!!!

In the past couple months, I've devoured everything I can get my hands on since The Dance...what's up with ALL the rumours of something going on romantically between Stevie and Lindsey over the years, I thought there was nothing between them. Rumours from the 80's, The Dance tour, SYW, Enchanted???? Some producer telling a story about S&L seeing each other? Who and what story? What the hellio? Anyone willing to fill me in....I just HAD to ask!!!!! Am I a shipper for wanting to know, lol? Nostalgic about this group, oh yeah!!!!! :blob1:

YouTube launched, I believe, in 2005. DVD debuted in 1997 so I doubt there were recordable DVDs yet. Funny, I first had high speed Internet in 2001, but was using dial up for nearly a decade before that probably.

That is the first time I think I've ever seen Stevie kiss Lindsey...nice kiss, too! Lindsey does lots of top of the head kisses and neck nuzzles (I'm a sucker for the way he does THAT, just turns his head inward and sinks in...ahhhh), he gives great full body hugs, too! Love a man who so obviously know his way around a woman...

Listen to Thrown Down, then listen to Bleed to Love Her, then listen to Everybody Finds Out, then listen to Steal Your Heart Away in that order and tell me what you think.

I have my personal opinion or idea about the BN relationship but I don't want to spoil your discoveries\

ETA: SPOILER - some more Rumours:

Stevie Nicks is a very mature woman these days - she is very focussed on her careers, friends and family. She has a brother and a niece, I think a nephew too though I'm not sure and I don't want you to take my understanding as Gospel ;)
Lindsey Buckingham is also very family-focussed with a wife and three kids
In 2013, there is not any romantic love between Stevie and Lindsey, and I know this to be true because they have stated so in no uncertain terms. Such as the song "Say Goodbye" was Lindsey's way of saying goodbye when he finally accepted you know around 1997 when he started writing it, that there would never be any more romances between him and his high school sweetheart - but that they could still be friends.
In 1997, there are "rumours" that Stevie and Lindsey engaged in an affair, or at the very least, were interested in each other romantically again, but did not engage in...sex. They have never been shy about telling each other how they really feel. The result is at least 10 of the songs off Say You Will are self-indulgent stories about their own lives with each other: Thrown Down, Red Rover, Bleed to Love Her, Steal Your Heart Away, Everybody Finds Out, Smile at You (written in 1982), Say Goodbye. Goodbye Baby I highly doubt has anything to do with Lindsey. It was written around 1976 I have read on the YouTube video comments of the "infamous demo" of Goodbye Baby during which Stevie says, "Feck!"

The problem with Goodbye Baby is many people seem to assume it's about Lindsey though I highly doubt it is from listening to the lyrics closely it seems to be either about her and Mick, or more likely, about the loss of a child due to miscarriage.

Anyway. I would say their romance truly ended in 1997. That is not to say they were having sex from 1977-1997. Not at all. But they still felt love for each other it would seem, and even though Stevie chose to leave the relationship, she was continuously forced to face up to working with her ex-boyfriend of 8-10 years. As was Lindsey, for his ex girlfriend. So they never had any closure until The Dance when they finally and ultimately accepted that it was over and they would never ever be together. That is just how I understand their relationship. I have not had the fortune of meeting Stevie or Lindsey, and the problem is if you meet both, they give completely different answers to your questions: as has become clear in Rolling Stone interviews and other media of late, 2012 and 2013.

If Stevie is sleeping with anyone at the moment my guess would be Dave Stewart, but my real opinion is that she is currently single and working her arse off to be taken seriously as a singer into her 60s, 70s and 80s for as long as she lives. That's why she has a voice coach. And Lindsey loves his work too. But I'm sure he adores Kirsten and the kids.

Listen to Thrown Down, then listen to Bleed to Love Her, then listen to Everybody Finds Out, then listen to Steal Your Heart Away in that order and tell me what you think.

I would also suggest listening to Fall From Grace, which is also confirmed to be about Lindsey and written circa The Dance/post-Dance. And Cast Away Dreams which is one which I find extremely fascinating. Also, Destiny Rules which is a favourite, if only for the joy/misery I find in both of them clinging to 'destiny' and 'fate' as justification for why things are the way they are. And My Heart/You May Be The One if we're focusing in on the Dance through SYW period. There's others too but I think those first two tell an interesting story and the latter two are interesting in terms of emotional 'residue' as Lindsey would say.

As Lindsey said, yes - but there are other kinds of love to be had. They state plenty of things in no uncertain terms, however, that I don't always believe. :D Ah, Say Goodbye seems to be the song of everchanging meaning. In SYW/Soundstage era he said it was actually written just after taking leave of the band in 1987. At the beginning of this tour he used the recording date as the writing date and said it had more to do with closure. In the latter part of the last leg, it seems to have evolved and become about "acceptance, faith and resolve for the future". Whatever that means... Also, not quite sure he 'accepted' it quite that simply at that point in time.

I don't think that's a problem because I think it's quite likely that he at least plays a part in the meaning of that song. Certainly, I subscribe to the miscarriage theory (most of the time) and without going into further detail, the fact that it was written at that point in time makes me think any guesses that it does have to with Linds probably aren't too far-fetched.

Also, this from the director of Destiny Rules seems to confirm it having emotional significance to both of them:

"one of the more emotional moments made it to the film and that was when Stevie and Lindsey recorded "Goodbye Baby". That was shot very quietly late at night and due to the subject matter, was a very private and personal moment between those two."

Whoa! Heavy, what the producer said...this is all new and intriguing to me. Going to go listen to the songs in the order given guys, such a hard task, lol! I'll get back to you after...thanks for playing, such fun for me to catch up and then to tell my daughter.

I know that many of you have been thru these subjects ad nauseum...I haven't, and as you can see, I became a Ledgie way back in 2000, but I lost my status because I had to change screen names...and was on AOL dial up as soon as it was available. Main reason: I heard that Stevie and FM were all over the Internet and it was true! Nothing like now, of course, but more FM info than I had EVER seen at that point in time, anywhere! Chat boards, The beginning of The Nicks Fix and The Penquin!

I really love this board and all of the intelligent, thoughtful, arrogant, funny, etc., things that all of you (we) lovely people say. I forgot how nice it is to be among people who share your interests, intensely.... So thanks for taking the time....really. Desiree. :o

I thought it was about that controversial thing I'm not sure if we're allowed to talk about (actually, I kinda hope we're not, since the conversation usually goes nowhere and only ticks people off) that involved Don Henley.

It's like Stevie said about the record, Say You Will, it's all there...everything about their relationship. TISL had a few, too. And, to me...so many of S&L's lyrics are so literal that all you have to do is read them and realize the story that is right there before your eyes. Especially since The Dance and subsequent tour.

I was listening to Candlebright last nite...God, she sings that so beautifully and so earnestly. You can tell she moved around a lot as a kid and I think she kind of always held and to this day still does on to LB as her rock so to speak, that one for sure, that will always be there if I really need him...brings to mind some of his not so nice lyrics in What Makes You Think I'm the One? :(

I don't want to speculate too much, but I think it's safe to say if Stevie ever really needed Lindsey, he will be for her whether he liked it or not.

It's obvious that there's A LOT of stuff that has happened between Stevie and Lindsey that we don't know about, and may never know (which is appropriate, because everyone should be allow to have their own secrets), unless someone from the band spills the beans (so to speak).

Such as I have seen several of Stevie's IYD interviews where she said that when Lindsey went to help her record Soldiers Angels for her CD, he was there for 2 or 3 days they talked and reconnected and became friends all over again, but then he left and she finished the CD with Dave, or at least that was the impression I got from the interviews.

Well that's seems to be only part of the story, because Lindsey said in a Seeds we Sow interview that he spent quite a bit of time with Stevie towards the end of her making her CD, so it goes to show you, you never know what's really going on unless your are there (and if you are there, you have to e-mail me and tell me everything )

I for one am anxiously waiting for Stevie to write her book. I will camp outside Barnes and Nobles for a week to be first in line for that one.

Just to be clear in my original post I was indeed being nostalgic about the rise of the internet which even at 19, nearly 20 yo; I full well remember the advent of the Internet.

It is funny how recent youtube is in grand scheme of things. I was only 12 at the time! Oh and although this Stevie and lindsey relationship dynamic is interesting it is definitely not my fave thing about the band. Mainly I admire their professionalism after all thes years they are still not phoning it in.

It's not weird, but personally it doesn't matter to me. I can tell just the way they interact on stage that they really do love each other, but these days as great old friends and professional associates. We know that they would most likely have had sex when they were indeed together in the late sixties and early seventies for that nigh-on 10 year romantic relationship. I just love the music and to me, if it is just an act - props to them for being great performers really. But I do think as Mick has been saying a lot lately in press interviews, it's a group of people which adored each other. They fought but they always adored each other - Stevie, Lindsey, Mick, John and let's not forget, Chris.

Some people on here seem to think I'm a frootloop! I just wanted to clear up I'm not, in general. Furthermore, I want to clear up that I doubt I'll ever meet Stevie or Lindsey in person. Also, I don't care about their love/sex lives and I don't think about it a whole lot because it's simply not that interesting to me. The thing is the songs are beautiful, not all Mac songs are great - but at least there are more hits than misses. And I loved Say You Will. Thought it was wonderful. Yes it did sound somewhat schizophrenic to me too as I've read or heard other people say, somewhere or other. Schizo just meaning the bridge of Christine's voice and playing was missing. But we have In the Meantime from the same era, and that solo record was just gorgeous. To me, if Stevie wants to go do 1 more solo album, or 2 or 3 and never record with Fleetwood Mac again I wouldn't blame her: life is short and In Your Dreams her latest was amazing. She finally "got" that she doesn't have to always rock out and that some quite, reflection really suits her voice now.

These musicians are just people...they have their own lives that outsiders don't know about, but don't we all? I think to say you live a life with anyone but your family (blood/love) that is completely open-book is probably not quite honest. My life is not an open book, for one. There is a lot I internalise and I wish I had a voice like Stevie Nicks to let my writing be free...to give it life. But I'm a man with a lowish voice and not much confidence to do anything musical..

Anyway I'm going to stop before I get one of those dreadful "thanks for sharing" type of comments.

To Nicole: Thanks for these enlightening songs and pieces of information.

I agree that Lindsey talks about closure but did not appear to have truly accepted in his heart of hearts that in 1987 when he wrote it that he had closure (as he said in the concert footage - Live in Boston 2003).

It appears they do have closure now so I'm happy for Stevie and Lindsey as people, and as musicians that they are still working sending the dreams out and letting us catch them (in Stevie speak :D).

I do sometimes wonder, though only occasionally - how true Stevie's story about not being online is. I'm sure her friends tell her things they read and I think she gets very easily upset even in 2013. And I know many 65 year olds are just ...very competent in Internet usage.

Nicole, closure is about two people accepting something. Not just one - ie Lindsey. Yeah Stevie rejected him during the making of Rumours, but she has quite openly had some feelings for him since then. You would simply get bored of writing song-after-song and so on about each other if there was nothing there.

I write poetry and lyrics (occasionally piano too) and I write about things from 2009 and 2010. I write about things from 2012 and 2013. Time is an ever changing beast, and entirely dependent on a person's concept of it. Also just because you write about something that happened 3 or 4 years ago it does not mean you are stuck in the past. Writing actually helps you come to terms with these things.

Note, Other animals don't wear watches as you would be well aware haha :p Time is a very human thing. As we say it heals all wounds.

Pleasure. Oh, Lindsey's been talking this 'we've finally got closure/beginning of closure' things for a good decade or so now. And YET I don't think they have it yet either, actually, whatever they say. That 'residue' is still there and they're still 'looking at the love that's always been there'. Have a look at the introduction for Say Goodbye from Philadelphia this year. From what I could make out, Lindsey basically said this:

"This is a song I wrote about Stevie maybe 10 years ago and, uh, it's about closure. As much as the (?) dialogue between the two of us can be *laughs* (?) and I think we're still trying to find it, right? (?) Or maybe we're not. I don't know. Anyway, it's incredible after all this time that there (?) seem to be a few chapters here between these two people. I don't understand. *laughs*"

Okay, so first of all Lindsey, you wrote this in 1987 according to other tours... ;) Also, you were writing about getting closure in your r'ship with Stevie back in 1987 but thought it's time was right in 2003 and yet you STILL think you guys are trying to find that closure in 2013? Except NOT. Because 'MAYBE WE'RE NOT. I DON'T KNOW'. UM, WTF? :D So, you don't think you ever found that closure and perhaps you're not even bothering to try and get that closure anymore? Just saying. And now it's not about closure anymore - it's more forward looking and more relationship positive.

And yes, the dreams motif certainly hasn't, um, gone away over the years. To be honest, particularly with Lindsey, it seems to be on the increase.

Yes, I understand that. They are, after all, each other's 'miserable muses'.

“No. Lindsey and I and our tragic, uptight way of doing things to each other is still the same in so many ways. In many, many ways. Lindsey and I are still the same people that we were when we met at 16 and 17. There’s a part of our relationship that remains unchanged. It doesn’t matter that he’s married with kids. It doesn’t matter what my life is. When we’re together we can still be incredibly teenage. And we still write about each other a lot. We’re still great sources of inspiration for each other. When we’re 90, whoever goes first, the other one will be sitting on a bed alone. We’ll never run out of stuff to write about.”

Yes, they still seem to have PLENTY to write about. And certainly not just about that initial break-up and the short-term effects of it. Both The Dance and SYW times certainly provided them with some new material, unsurprisingly... :D I certainly understand what you mean. Writing emotions out can definitely be of help and also I think lyrics (particularly for Lindsey, who LOVES to compartmentalise) are a space or even 'the' space - along with onstage - where he CAN express those 'residual' feelings and emotions and 'dreams', if you will.

"Music is a means of expression that rings truer and is more connected to things inside than speech." (Lindsey Buckingham, 1992)

I'm not saying either of them are necessarily stuck in the past but that, for two people who like to say 'no regrets', 'it was destiny and I'm cool with it' type things they both have an interesting way of expressing that, particularly Lindsey (and Stevie's 'can't be an artist/and have kids etc and I made that choice' always fascinates me when contrasting it with the way she ALWAYS talks about their parallel life/endgame possible goal - marriage, music AND kids). He may be more 'inspired' than he's ever been as many folks like to say but looking at a lot of lyrics, I wouldn't say it's exactly a forward-looking kind of inspiration a lot of the time. There's a lot of a longing and a lot of dreaming (and oceans, and walls, and fires, lines to be crossed, and saving etc) for someone who's meant to have gotten closure a long time ago.

And time does heal all wounds, so they say. So it's always a pity when Stevie and Lindsey just insist on creating NEW wounds for themselves each time they get back together (in a manner of speaking). :D

I loved reading this, Nicole, all of it - but the bolded parts especially. And that concluding sentence just sums up my feelings about Stevie and Lindsey as celebrities: they are in this funny space where (at least in AUS) they do not get talked about in the newspapers very much so there is not a lot of public interest that I can hear of feel in talking with Australians.

And yes, why oh why if Lindsey has had so much "closure" does he continue to write songs with lyrics like "Hello, hello sad angel, have you come to fight the war?" One could take the extreme view that they both have a secret child/possibly marriage but that would be silly. They are two people for whom the "barriers of time" (Stevie Nicks) got in the way.

A true testament to how difficult work relationships can be. But also - a way of showing how it can be done. 40 years since Buckingham Nicks. Even longer since Linds and his friends' band Fritz.

And I think their work has kept them young now that they have learnt to focus on work/music rather than partying (Ledgies all know about cocaine and cannabis usage of those days: all of the band Fleetwood Mac were doing it in the 1970s and 1980s).

I would also like to add, that we sometimes forget as fans that drugs have that lasting effect on your mental health - it's easy to think oh Stevie, Lindsey, Mick and John are all fine now. But I would say their mental health has most definitely being effected at least in some small way, especially adding in all the drinking and smoking (tobacco).

We have to take that step back and remember, yeah, these are great songs. The band members are having a great time on stage. They appear to getting along really well. But then ...what happens backstage? What happens when they go home to their individual hotels?

It would be a difficult life I think. One that affords money and privilege but also lack of privacy (particularly in USA and Canada, less so in UK, also in Australia)

Thanks. I apparently have a lot of 'feelings' about this stuff. :D Ah, but they're not celebrities in the same way as many of those we see plastered across magazines these days. Both the media and the general public in the business of 'celebrity' are far more interested in shaming good-looking young actresses for their clothes, weight, partners, etc and digging up dirt on the newest and hottest and most controversial young artists who are 'open' to the public in a big way (through social media etc), for example, then rehashing the drama of great band who hit their commercial/artistic(?) peak decades ago. Doesn't mean there's no interest at all or that tours don't sell well - just means they're not celebrities in the same way as many are now. Certainly, I'm Australian too and none of my acquaintances are interested but I put a lot of that down to age...

Oh, if I were looking at lyrics that made me think that that actual closure is still not a possible thing for them to achieve (not that I think they truly want it), Sad Angel wouldn't even be NEAR the top. I'd look at a number of interesting songs on Seeds We Sow and then, particularly, BOTH of Lindsey's other songs from the EP, both of which he has copped to being about Stevie. They are far more interesting in terms of message for me though I do adore Sad Angel.

I had another dream of you last night / Sailing on a sea of blue
You were grieving for someone else / I was grieving for you

It may be you don't remember me / But I remember you

And do you still tremble when I fall? / Will you still answer when I call?
Would you still love to linger up against the wall?

Baby, I've just been holding out too long / Maybe I couldn't admit I was wrong
And maybe I've just been lying to myself / And no one else

Slow down, baby / Cross that line
If you want to save me / It takes time

Maybe I've wasted all this precious time / I'm trying to prove what is and isn't mine
Wondering to myself if you knew / It was all for you

Also, laughing at that 'silly' secret marriage/kid thing because yeah, well, the archives of both this forum and another in particular suggest that some like to travel down that road of speculation... :D Ah, yes, those 'barriers'. Not even that pesky destiny this time (though we WILL blame it and use it to justify what a mess certain times are/were!) but an actual barrier. 'A decision no one made and now you're going home', indeed. And then later, 'choices we must make' that lead to 'hearts will break'. It ain't easy, lol.

And yes. The sheer length and depth and complexity of the relationship will always fascinate me, I think. There's nothing like it. It's become increasingly clear that, no matter what now, they're it - they can't and won't let each other go, in whatever capacity and as complicated as it is. As Lindsey likes to point out, they've known each other since high school, bless.

We have to take that step back and remember, yeah, these are great songs. The band members are having a great time on stage. They appear to getting along really well. But then ...what happens backstage? What happens when they go home to their individual hotels?

It's an interesting one, for sure. I mean, we just don't know, really. However, there is enough evidence to suggest (and Stevie has talked about it before) that the offstage relationship (even something as simple as the mood they're in that day or if they had a little tiff, etc) definitely affects the onstage dynamic, and neither Lindsey nor her are good actors. It's not a mere matter of pretendsies on stage. Also, they don't - and haven't ALWAYS use/d different or separate hotels. Stevie LOVES to emphasise the separate hotel thing but it's not always true. I do enjoy how, as she did in her Jimmy Fallon interview in 2009, she seems to think she needs to segue from 'oh, lindsey and i get to re-live our love affair onstage every night' straight into 'BUT we get offstage and go ALONE to our SEPARATE limos and SEPARATE hotels' like otherwise everyone would assume they were hooking up. :D

ETA: Is this a direct quote or are you impersonating Stevie to be funny

Oh, no! I couldn't make up anything THAT good (though there are ones that make me laugh/swoon/wince even more, tbh). Classic Stevie, that one. Undermining the emotional significance of Lindsey's actual marriage whilst emphasising the still partly unchanged nature of their selves and relationship one interview at a time. :D

Just a little bit!

The album would have been better
without Stevie. Not that Lindsey's

You know, it did take time to grow on me...some of it is just too much for ME, don't care for LB's heavy handed production or some of his crazy ass songs...but the more I listen, the more I think that at least 2-3 of Stevie's songs on SYW are epic...Thrown Down, Destiny Rules and SYW are pure FM, unlike most of LB's work which should have been on a solo effort, not a LB record masquerading inside of a FM record! That's the whole problem with SYW, the record!!! That said, some of LB's songs on SYW are epic, as well, Bleed to Love Her, Steal Your Heart Away...

And, as unpopular as I'm sure this comment will be, sorry Elle, much of FM's output since Mirage has been a result of LB trying to get his solo music out! At some point during The Dance era it seems Stevie may have really fallen for LB again and I truly believe she stepped back and kind of pushed him up front and center, I think she wanted him to find his place at the top because she simply loved him and wanted him happy! No, I am not saying that she is responsible for his rise after that period, but...Fall From Grace, maybe the reason she stayed so long and fought so hard was to bring him back alive and to make sure that he survived...I think she's always been the strong one, I can relate! Watching The Dance concert and tour videos I saw some of the most blatant, I can't help myself, I still love you, long for you, lust over you, hate you...OMG this is tearing my heart out, I can't hide it...FULL-On ANGST that I have ever seen on film or otherwise. What must it be like for them to watch that film...WOW! Anyone who didn't see that even with just one viewing of The Dance video is BLIND, IMHO. Never mind, just watch SS's and watch all of the feelings cross their faces. I'm sure Stevie planned some drama but I think it turned out to be A LOT more than either expected! No shipper here...just saying what I saw.

I must add that I think Stevie needs a more spare production ethic and someone who really encourages her to be HERSELF. That woman can still sing her ever loving butt off to this day! Even the crappy You Tube videos of her gig with Rod Stewart show that! There are places on all of the videos I've seen where you can only hear Stevie's backing vocals and they are strong and spot on, real singing and completely in tune...music to my ears! She appeared to stop him in his tracks a couple times with her vocal delivery and she knew it! It happens with LB too...those are the times she really seems to be feeling her oats!!!! :D Still VERY strange seeing those performances...so not Stevie and so Stevie at the same time. She still has the most unique voice I've ever heard! And when she does her sexy little baby talk ( I know...sexy and baby talk sounds strange...go figure!) on a single line, it seems to just tear men up! I love watching guys watch Stevie ...half of the women I know are mesmerized by her too tho! And, her performance, the dancing and chemistry she seems to have with so many others...awesome! Love her dancing...not just when performing but when she's being natural, just getting into someone else's song!

Wow! Sorry for the book!

Fleetwood Mac's relatively low output has made
many of us appreciate some subpar material over
the years. And I think SYW takes the cake. We
will just have to disagree that there's anything on
that album that's "epic".

I believe Mirage is where Lindsey gave up after
being pressured by his band and record label over
the failure of Tusk (saleswise). Both Mirage and
Tango are too sugary sweet for me.

It was hard not to see the drama in The Dance Video.
We want to see it, that's the problem. Does that make
it less real? I doubt even Stevie or Lindsey knows the
answer to that.

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/career-resurrections/

6. Fleetwood Mac

The history of Fleetwood Mac is filled with ups, downs, drama, and lineup changes. But they never found themselves in worse career shape than they did with 1995's Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham-less (and commercially dead on arrival) album 'Time.' Luckily the duo returned to reunite the classic 'Rumours' lineup for the chart-topping 1997 live album 'The Dance.' Despite the subsequent departure of Christine McVie, in between breaks for solo projects the four-piece version of the group has sold out shows across the world ever since.
