Joe Novackowsky/"Baghdaddy" -

I wanted to ask if you could all keep Joe Novackowsky in your thoughts and prayers. This is the Stevie fan who sent her an American flag from Baghdad, Stevie was apparently very touched by it and later met him personally backstage. The flag as well as some photos of his Humvee in Iraq (complete with "Rock a Little" bumper sticker) and similar things were proudly posted on Nicksfix. Some of you may know him as "Baghdaddy" from the Nicksfix chat days; he's a well-known and respected member of "the Fleetwood Mac Online Community."

Joe's daughter died on Tuesday morning.

I'll spare the details but it was a pretty ugly situation.

Never heard of him-nor do I recall seeing the pics-but sad to hear for anyone. A very terrible loss what with all he's more than surely endured already.

I guess so many people have moved on from here that they haven't heard of him but he was quite well-known and loved "in these parts" a couple of years ago.

And yes, he's had more than his share of hard knocks. Due to stress from the war he had to have heart surgery and then one of the medicines caused him to pass out - he fell and broke his hip badly and was forced to retire after surgery to repair it. And now this.

Anyway just trust me that a few years back this guy was "a favorite" in this neck of the woods and that Stevie is very aware of him and has immeasurable amounts of respect for him.
