I would have been so surprised to open the paper and see this. Nice. Michele

A stunning painting that makes me wish I had the funds to buy more original art! Although I admit I wouldn't recognize it as Christine without being told.

Very cool find. :)

Right, I recognize the outfit from real photographs of her, but otherwise it does not say Christine to me. I don't recognize the profile.

The nose isn't right.

Cool that someone did this, though.

She must be difficult to paint. Here are two other paintings of her I found online. Neither of these capture her likeness either.

O.... oh..... my. Aheh. Those are... definitely... paintings. Yep.

I'm trying to find an emoticon to accurately capture my reaction to those. But I don't think one exists.

ETA: Much as I dislike it, I think the second link probably comes the closest of all three to really capturing her look.

I sort of agree. But if I saw that at a bazaar or something, I would instantly think of her.

To me these both look like Jazzmen Flowers dressed up as Christine McVie and painted to resemble Jazz.

So, is that what you say when you see someone's unattractive baby?

Yes, it's more her face, but not the bouffant hair. I'd give her a different coiffure. It's her face and yet it's Suzanne Somers' face as well.

Ha! On the inside, yes. ;) Darn social pressures, censoring me!

But let's be honest, newborn babies are almost invariably as ugly as those paintings. The reaction translates accordingly.
