Favourite Stevie Demo(s) Part 3

[whitewingdove]

I decided to make another thread to see who everyone's favourite demo is. To be totally honest most of my favourite Stevie solo songs are actually demo's or pre-recorded versions so here is a follow up poll to the other 2 I posted. So heres a few of my favourite Stevie demos and also some of the most populat or higher discussed ones. Feel free to write your top fav in list form below too!

You didn't specify how many we could vote for so I voted for all but two. I've never heard a demo for Violet and Blue and I'm not fond of The Maker of the Birds demo.

[whitewingdove]

1. Thousand Days
2. Violet And Blue
3. 24 Karate Gold
4. Wild Heart (not exactly a demo, but the one with her getting her make-up done, I believe it may have been previous to the RS shoot??)
5. No Spoken Demo (demo) RAGE!
6. All The Beautiful Words
7. Have No Heart
8. Designs Of Love

Unlike Others I'm not huge on the demo's so this is all I can provide my my top fav. Believe me; I know many MANY more but I'm just the type of gal who likes the "finished" sound if you will. I hate the static and in order for me to get passed that the songs has gotta be damn good!

Isn't V&B a demo itself??? If not what album was it on???:sorry:

Anytime.

I voted for everything but Secret Love & Rock-a-bye baby (IMO an awful song).

[Dex]

Joan of Arc. As soon as the science allows it, I am moving to the alternate universe where that was included on the Tango album (even if it replaced both of her other b-side songs)

Of the above I chose Blue Water and Space Needle. Those are just absolutely lovely. Blue Water is a song that I often use when trying to convince people that Stevie is amazeballs, and it usually does the trick.

[Artemis]

From the list,

Rock-a-bye baby (I would KILL for a great quality version of this)
Have No Heart (Spellbinding)
Watchdevil (just catchy)

[On Ice]

I'm going with:

1. Watchdevil
2. Space Needle
3. Have No Heart

I like all of these songs, but have never heard Rock a Bye.

I'm in the Joan of Arc Camp but worry a little about how many times she would've turned to the wall on the Tango album, but still a much better song than the two tracks on side two.
