I'm trying to track down Got no home, the BTM Vito outtake to complete an excellent playlist that ChiliD has put together. There used to be a trade page at Buckinghamnicks.net which now appears to be defunct, and I can't find any other traders who have it on the net so if anyone can help point me in the right direction that would be great.
Cheers

Thanks for that Chriskin. I wasn't able to get online last night so will try again today. I'm interested to hear it as it's got generally postive reviews. Sadly, I always fell slightly embarassed listening to most of BTM as there is so much wrong with too much of it. Oddly, I don't feel that way about Time (except for Blow by Blow) which despite its limitations is a much more satisfying listen.

Actually I love BTM and I'm a big fan of both Burnette and Vito. I guess you'll like it if you like Vito's work in general and hate if if you don't.
Oh and as for BTM, I still list Freedom in my all time Top 10 FM songs from all eras. Then again I'm a little bit different

It's a shame the BTM lineup did not get the chance of recording another album together. But it's no surprise the BTM band ended after The Chain boxset came into the picture because it would have been the 3rd time in 4 releases they would promote a product that was not by the BTM band (the others being Tango and Greatest Hits).

The BTM band (for all intents) ended after the last show of the 1990 tour. Both Christine & Stevie had announced mid-tour that it would be their last with the band. Only Christine said that she was ending her live concert involvement, but would consider still working in a studio environment...Stevie was just out, period. Rick Vito hung around for a bit longer, but he eventually called it quits, too.
Christine was a bit loose with her interpretation of "live concert involvement" since she did play two shows with Fleetwood Mac in '93...the Clinton inaugural party and the Super Bowl pre-game show. The Clinton party with the Rumours crew; the Super Bowl with the BTM crew minus Stevie.

Stevie said he was mad on her account, about the handling of Silver Springs. Michele
