At the airport, they have this thing where they don't make people over 75 take off their jacket and shoes. I think it would be a little touchy to ask someone if they were 75 and want to take advantage of this exception and to find out that you were wrong.

I was going through security and they asked the guy behind me about it and he said, "Oh, glad you noticed," but I don't think I would be glad.

Since Stevie was born in 1948 her full retirement age is 66. She can collect early retirement benefits and if so they will take $1 for every $2 she earns. At 66 she can collect her Social Security check without her earnings reducing her benefits.:)
