The Westboro Baptists protested at my old highschool once too, because we have a Gay Straight Alliance group at the school. They're idiots. Stomped on an american flag and yelled out all this crazy stuff at us when we walked in to school. And once I was at Dollywood while the KKK was protesting (over the same 'gay idol' thing), and I threw a milkshake at them. :thumbsup:

No, the WBC won't stop anyone from trying to enter (nor could they, if they wanted to). Based on their usual M.O., they'll just stand across the street from the venue, with their "God Hates F--s" signs, and shout nonsense. Sometimes there are counter-protesters there to mock them (see the pic below), but they avoid physical altercations.

I've seen so many variences of them. In San Jose, CA, there is normally one dude w/ a megaphone. In LA before the Wiltern show I think, there was a very small, VERY elderly asian woman passing out flyers and when you politely declined, she shot a nasty look and shook her head. Oakland and Shoreline get the real picket/sign holders. I am most eager to see what game the Christers in Oregon bring, and if Canada even gives a woopty-do.

I'm surprised they even heard about this tour/the band. This group of people just waste space on this earth. They picket soldiers funerals, concerts, basically anything that is human. And what cracks me up the most is that they hate America and stomp on the flag constantly. I always ask myself, why don't they move to another country, then remembered: They aren't allowed into most.
