Breaking it down through the years with as much information as I could find, here are the setlists per tour since 1975 (with the exception of The Time Tour which did not include Christine, Stevie or Lindsey).
Note: Some songs may not have been performed consistently and are marked where known.
Songs are listed in alphabetical order.

Song appearance summary:

Go Your Own Way and Rhiannon are the only songs played in every tour since the White Album Tour.
Go Your Own Way is the only song played in every tour & every set since Rumours Tour.
Dreams, The Chain and Don't Stop are the only songs in every tour since the Rumours Tour.

Go Your Own Way, Landslide, I'm So Afraid and Rhiannon have been in every setlist with Stevie & Lindsey.

Don't Let Me Down Again and Frozen Love are the only Buckingham Nicks songs that have been played in Fleetwood Mac sets. Frozen Love was only played in 1975. Don't Let Me Down Again was played for the first time (with Stevie & Lindsey) since 1975 at one show only in 2004, it was also performed in 1987 sans Lindsey.

Unleashed comparison:
Six songs from the White Album.
Seven songs from Rumours.
Four songs from Tusk.
One song from Tango and one from Mirage.
Two solo songs (one LB, one SN).
One classic Fleetwood Mac song (pre-BN).
Total set consisted of 23 songs.

Out of the 22 songs played during the Rumours tour, Fleetwood Mac performed 13 songs during the Unleashed tour, not including songs by Christine (with the exception of Say You Love Me & Don't Stop) and the old Fleetwood Mac songs that dropped out of the 1977 set after the popularity of Rumours.

Very comprehensive compilation. Good reference point.

This was really informative. Thanks for compiling it and sharing.

The more I think about it, the more I think they should replace Stand Back with something like Seven Wonders. Tango is always underrepresented and I think that's a "fun" enough song that they could get away with the swap.

i LOVE Seven Wonders, but it could NEVER replace Standback. It's just not as ubiquitous to casual fans... put it in place of Gypsy, which is a bit leaden in the live version.

But Stand Back isn't even a Fleetwood Mac song. I just don't see why it has to be in the set, honestly.

very nice CAD!!

had no clue they performed GYOW on every tour since 1975, even when LB was not there.

so we have these songs with highest number of tours (not counting CM songs other than Don't Stop, and not counting tours where current 4 were not all present) -

GYOW - 7x
Landslide - 7x
Rhiannon - 7x
ISA - 7x

SHN - 6x
Don’t Stop - 6x
Dreams - 6x
The Chain - 6x

Tusk - 5x (every tour since Tusk)
NGBA - 5x
World Turning - 5x
Oh Well - 5x

Blue Letter - 4x
GDW - 4x
Gypsy - 4x (every tour since Mirage)
Sara - 4x

Big Love - 3x (every tour since the dance)
Silver Springs - 3x (every tour since the dance)

Eyes - 3x
IKINW - 3x
Monday Morning - 3x
NTF - 3x

bolded are all songs that i can give them as must do, some of them selected b/c they were late arrivals (Tusk was on every tour since Tusk and Gypsy every tour since Mirage; SS and BL really arrived with The Dance tour) and that's why their numbers are not as large. songs that are not bolded above cannot be counted as regulars in this list since they were not on every tour since they were first introduced.

i am not counting solo songs - they are not FM songs and therefore by definition they cannot be regulars.

so i guess we have 12 must-do songs. if i had my way, i'd replace Gypsy with GDW.

yup. no reason to play a song not written by a band member. no Seven Wonders and no Blue Letter. there are other much better songs, that are written by SN.

very nice CAD!!

had no clue they performed GYOW on every tour since 1975, even when LB was not there.

Lindsey recalled that his BTM appearances were a very positive experience for him because he only had to come in and do one song (actually, he didn't just do GYOW, but I guess he forgot about that) and he'd performed GYOW so many times in the past that he was confident he could do it better than anyone else they had <g>. He said he opted not to watch the concert though. He said he chose not to see FM without him, although he said he didn't know why.

You could say the same for most of the songs. I mean, they've been playing The Chain the same since the late 70s, might as well change it up or drop it.

"Homework" & "World In Harmony"?? Where did you glean those from? From what I recall, neither of those were ever played after Peter Green left the band. If you're using the track list from the Who's The New Girl? bootleg album, those were the studio tracks from the Peter Green era to fill out the last side of one of the LPs.

What you're NOT including, however, in the '75 tour is "Rattlesnake Shake" (Lindsey lead vocal), "Jumping At Shadows" (Christine lead vocal) & "Sunny Side Of Heaven" (played sporatically...occasionally opened sets....and which was kept through the first half of the Rumours tour as an encore song.

But Stand Back isn't even a Fleetwood Mac song. I just don't see why it has to be in the set, honestly.

True, but think about it this way: Stand Back has been in every Stevie Nicks set list (solo and Mac) since 1983. It is now just as much a Mac staple as Dreams. Even the casual fan who goes to a Mac concert is going to expect to hear it.

CAD, this compilation was incredibly well researched and fun to read. Great job. (Now, someone send this to the Gang Of Five managers!)

True, but think about it this way: Stand Back has been in every Stevie Nicks set list (solo and Mac) since 1983. It is now just as much a Mac staple as Dreams. Even the casual fan who goes to a Mac concert is going to expect to hear it.

nope. solo songs are not mac songs, by definition. period.

that said, watching Lindsey doing his monkey dance during stand back is definitely a lot of fun!

but if SN wants to replace it with another, newer solo song, then more power to her!

Stevie will drop Gypsy if they start with it, she doesn't seem to like it that much. But it doesn't matter because she won't replace it with anything else, so it's not going to add more space in the setlist.

I chose my words poorly. It's a Mac Concert staple. Just as much as Go Your Own Way is a Lindsey Buckingham Concert staple, live or solo. There are a select few songs that are so identified with Stevie and Lindsey that they are expected at a show regardless of the fact that it's a solo or Mac show. If Christine McVie toured solo more in the '80s, she'd be identified with Don't Stop or Say You Love Me.

Huh? She did it the entire Unleashed Tour - remember that was her go to storytime.

Oh, and that's another thing - we have to take out two songs to make room for the extra stories she's telling this year. :D

i thought he wrote it in... hmmmm.... '87 i believe? ;)

he's been doing it this way since late 1992. don't see it changing any time soon.

it sure FEELS like longer.

Ok so he's been only doing the song in some form for 25 years instead of 30. Still needs some shaking up IMO.

Pretty sure they did Over My Head on the 1990 tour. :D

Yeah, I think she got that out of her system. But I'd love the acoustic that everyone has been asking for since AHI. Michele

i understand your opinion, but disagree it's a "mac staple". same as Go Insane is not a mac staple. but then again i've never seen Mac live.

i think the song that's most identified with Stevie is EO17. she doesn't perform it with Mac, and i think that's a good choice. Lindsey doesn't perform Holiday Road (solo or with Mac!), or Trouble, and he shouldn't.

we discussed that here, maybe you can add your 0.02?

Thanks for the invite, but I'd just be regurgitating what I've already said. No point in saying the same things over and over trying to change someone's mind on the internet. It never works.
I was just pointing out that the song has been done on every single Mac tour since 1988, so it's a defacto live staple, regardless of who's album it was released on. In a perfect world, I'm all for scrapping every single song and starting fresh on this tour, but we all know the Rhiannon film will happen before we see a significant set list revamp.

i don't know, i definitely changed my mind about a few songs after i went through the list that CAD put together. facts can change [at least some] people's minds.

This was really informative. Thanks for compiling it and sharing.

The more I think about it, the more I think they should replace Stand Back with something like Seven Wonders. Tango is always underrepresented and I think that's a "fun" enough song that they could get away with the swap.

That should be fun. But then again, I always Like a good solid Stand Back.

I,remember back in 2009 I was in Antwerpen as wel as Rotterdam and the veneus were packed with aversie 'fans' or at least people who wanted To see The Mac once again and SB didn't got Munch recognition...you could easily pick the die hard Stevie chiffonheads...

No, Don't Let Me Down Again was sometimes played in 1987 without Lindsey.

Very comprehensive compilation. Good reference point.

Michele

I was at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas in December 1987. This show was near the end of the TITN Tour. It had been cancelled due to Stevie's illness and rescheduled near the end. I was very suprised to hear Fleetwood Mac break into "Don't Let Me Down Again" with Billy Burnett and Rick Vito on guitar/vocals.......just never expected that......

I feel the biggest obstacle to a setlist revamp is the utter lack of material to chose from. Let's be realistic here - the Rumours lineup (minus Christine) of Fleetwood Mac has ONE album of studio material since Tango In The Night.

One album in 26 years. To be fair, we can take out the time Lindsey was gone. 16 years with one album. It's shameful, really. So to exclude solo material means they have to stick with the songs many of us are tired of hearing, or dominate the setlist with songs they've never done on any tour, which would be fine with me, but just isn't likely. At all. What *is* likely is a new song or three, dropped after the first four shows unless it's one of Lindsey's.
